66, GP35m, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1964, #28772, FN 7694-1, as Texas & Pacific 600. It was renumbered 2500 in 1974 and it became Missouri Pacific 2500 in 1976. It then rebuilt to 2250 HP as 2617 in January 1981. It was retired in August 18, 1986, and was sold by Wilson Ry Corp in January 5, 1987. It was leased to Kiamichi RR as 3804 and returned in April 1988. It was attempted to resold to Texas-Mexican RR as 869 in November 1988 but never delivered. It then went to Azcon. They sold it to Railtex, who sent it to the Austin & Northwestern as 66. It was rebuilt as a slug mother in March 1993 and assigned to the DGNO 66. In 1996 it was transferred to the Goderich-Exeter RR as 66 and renumbered 3834 in 1998.

140, 2GS14B, was built by National Railway Equipment Co in March 2007, #058-0074.

141, 2GS14B, was built by National Railway Equipment Co in March 2007, #058-0075.

142, RP20BD, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1966, #31888, FN 7901-20, as Norfolk & Western 1348, GP40.  It was sold to Railtex in 1998 as Central Oregon & Pacific 1348 and then transferred as G-EXRR 4019 in 1999.  It was retired in 2012 and rebuilt for Railpower by Juniata in January 2013, #RP178-001, as DNGO 142, RP20BD.

143, RP20BD, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1970, #36689, FN 7274-24, as Baltimore & Ohio 4813, Class GP-38. It was later 2113 and then became CSX Transportation 2113, Class GP-38. It was retired on January 22, 1996, and sold to Helm Leasing on April 10, 1996. It became Helm Atlantic 116 on February 1997 and then sold as Rail Link-Ottawa Valley 2002 in May 1997. It was renumbered 3872 in 2000.  It was sent to Juniata and rebuilt by Railpower Technologies in February 2013, #RP178-002, as DGNO 143, RP20BD.

144, RP20BD, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #35388, FN 7191-85, as Penn Central 7759, Class EF-20. GP38.  It became  Consolidated Railroad Corp 7759, Class GP-38, in April 1976 and sold as Pittsburgh & Lake Erie 2028, Class EF-20.  It was planned as  Conrail Leasing  335 but sold as CORP 5528.  It was renumbered 3829 and transferred as San Joaquin Valley RR 3829.  It was rebuilt at Juniata by Railpower in March 2013, #RP178-003, as DGNO144, RP20BD.

145, RP20BD, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1969, #34837, FN 7158-15, as Baltimore & Ohio 3714, Class GP-40. It was returned to General American Transportation Co on May 17, 1984, as 3714. It was rebuilt by Livingston Rebuild Center as BN 3078, Class GP-40G, on May 3, 1989. It was retired on February 28, 1992, and became GATX 3078 on June 1, 1992. It was leased to Burlington Northern as 3078 in December 1992 and then to New England Central as 3078 in January 1995. It was renumbered 4047 in July 1999 and retired in October 2011. It was rebuilt at Juniata by Railpower in March 2013, #RP178-004, as DGNO 145, RP20BD.

146, RP20BD, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1969, #34845, FN 7158-23, as B&O 3722, Class GP-40.  It was returned as GATX 3722 on May 17, 1984.  It was rebuilt at Livingston in 1984 and rebuilt at Livingston in June 16, 1989, as BN 3080, Class GP-40G.  It was retired on February 28, 1992, and returned to GATX.  It was leased as Virginia Southern RR 3080 in June 1993 and transferred as G-EXRR 3080 in January 1994.  It was transferred as NEC 3080 in May 1995 and renumbered 4048 in 1999.  It was rebuilt at Juniata by Railpower in March 2013, #RP178-005, as DGNO 146, RP20BD.

172, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1955, #20864, FN 5413-18, as Chesapeake & Ohio 5955, Class MRSE-17.  It was reclassified Class GP-9 in 1964 and became Western Maryland 5955, Class GP-9 in April 1976.  It was assigned CSX Transportation 0286.  It was later sold to IW as 172 and then purchased by Railtex and assigned to Austin & NorthWestern as 172. It came to Dallas Garland & NorthEastern 172 in May 1996. It was rebuilt by C&F Locomotive Service as a slug relettered HHLC 172 with no info on the name.  It was then sold as Rochester & Southern 807.

174, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1954, #19476, FN 5334-5, as Texas & New Orleans 244, Class DF-601.  It was renumbered SP 3415, Class EF418-2, in 1966 and rebuilt on July 18, 1972, as 3359, Class EF418E-2.  It was sold to Wilson Railway Supply on March 28, 1988, as shop switcher 1 and renumbered 60.  It was sold as IW 174 in 1989 and sold to Railtex as AUNW 174.  It was transferred as DGNO 174 in May 1996 and transferred as Virginia Southern 174. 244, Class DF-601.

178 "Pauline". GP9, was built General Motors in May 1960, #A1816, FN C628-3, as Cartier RR 3. It was renumbered 53 in 1960 and later as ITS 178. It later was Virginia Southern Ry 178 in 1990 and later Grand Rapids Southern RR 178 and G-EXRR 178 "Paulina". It then became DGNO in August 1997. Disposition has been lost.

272, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1954, #19869, FN 5362-10, as Union Pacific 272. It was sold to Great Western Ry as 272 in June 1985. GW sold it to Mid-America Car who sold it to Railtex in August 1986. It came to DGNO in April 1992 and is no longer on the property.

701, GP7u, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1952, #16388, FN 5145-22, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 2744, Class 2650. It was rebuilt in April 1981 at Cleburne as 2234, Class 2050. It was retired in July 1991 and sold to Railtex in November 1991. It was assigned to Texas New Mexico RR as 2237 until it was transferred to DGNO and renumbered 701 in January 1999.

702, GP7u, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1952, #17636, FN 5219-13, as AT&SF 2825, Class 2650. It was rebuilt in September 1978 at Cleburne as 2130, Class 2050. It was retired in June 1989 and sold to Railtex in February 1990. It was assigned to Georgia Southwestern Ry as 2130 and then transferred to Georgia Great Southern and kept the same number. In January 1999 it came to DGNO and was renumbered 702.

2000, SD20, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1959, #25388, FN 5602-B1, as Union Pacific 400B, SD24B. It was rebuilt at Paducah in August 1979 as Illinois Central Gulf 2000 and sold to RailTex in 1994 as Missouri & North Arkansas 1000. It was rebuilt at VMV as rebuilt in DGNO in September 1998 and was renumbered 2000 in October 2001. 

2001, SD20, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1959, #25397, FN5602-B10, as UP 409B, SD24B. It was rebuilt at Paducah in September 1979 as ICG 2001. In 1995 it was sold to RailTex as M&NA 1001. In October 1995 it was transferred to DGNO and relettered the following year. In September 1998 it was rebuilt by VMV as 1800 HP and renumbered 2001 in May 1999.  It was rebuilt by National Railway Equipment Co in April 2010, #5602-B10, as a 3GS21C.

2002, 3GS21C, was built by Electro-Motive  in August 1959, #25373, FN 5602-A16, as UP 415, SD24.  It was rebuilt at Paducah in March 1980 as ICG 2011.  It was sold as NRE 2011 on March 13, 1995, and sold to RailTex as M&NA 1011.  It was rebuilt by National Railway Equipment Co in May 2010, #5402-A16, as 3GS21C, as DGNO 2002.

2013/2014, GP7m, was built by Electro-Motive on March 26, 1954, #18789, FN 6525-1, as General Motors Corp 525.  Parts were used from AT&SF 107L, Class 100, FT, after it was wrecked at Moline, KS, on October 23, 1953,  It shortly became AT&SF 99, Class 99.In 1970 it was renumbered 2899, Class 2899. It was rebuilt at Cleburne in July 1981 as 2013, Class 2000. It was retired in July 1991 and sold to Railtex in November 1991 and sent to DGNO in April 1992 as one of the first locomotives on the line. It was renumbered 2014 in 1997 due to a conflict within the Railtex fleet.   It was scrapped at Denison, TX, on May 6, 2004.

2022, GP7u, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1952, #17459, FN 6465B-2, as AT&SF 2804, Class 2650. It was rebuilt at Cleburne in September 1981 as 2022, Class 2000. It was retired in March 1990 and sold to Railtex in August 1990. It was assigned to North East Kansas & Missouri as 2022 and later moved to Texas Northeastern as 2022. In April 1992 it joined 2013 on DGNO as one of the first locomotives.

2077, GP7u, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1952, #16988, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 2761, Class 2650. It was rebuilt in Cleburne in August 1974, as 2077, Class 2050. It was retired in March 1990, and sold it to Railtex in August 1990 as Georgia & Alabama 2077. In January 1999 it was transferred to DGNO where it was quickly stored for parts use.

2147, GP38-2, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1974, #73752-10, FN 73752-10, as as Southen Ry 5117.  It became Norfolk Southern 5117, Class GP38-2, and sold to Larry's Truck Electric in October 2017.  It was sold as DGNO 2147 in 2018.

2207, GP7u, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1951, #13185, FN 5054-10, as AT&SF 2664, Class 2650. It was rebuilt in Cleburne in September 1980 as 2207, Class 2050. It was retired in July 1991 and sold to Railtex in November 1991. It became DGNO 2207 in April 1992 and later it was sent to Salt Lake City Southern as 2207 in 1993.It then became Georgia Southwestern RR as 2207 in 2007 and became Valdosta Ry 2207 in March 2007.

3048, GP38-3, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1965, #29973, as Denver & Rio Grande Western 3048, Class DE B-B 62, a GP35. It was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in May 1971 after a wreck and later given Class EF425D-2. It was rebuilt as a GP38-3 by Omnitrax in January 1999 and came to DGNO in March 1999. It was returned to Omintrax in July 1999 and became CIT Financial as 3048 in October 1999.

3075, GP40u, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1969, #34823, FN 7158-1, as  Baltimore & Ohio 3700, Class GP-40.  It was leased as 9700 between February 1981 and April 1981.  It was returned to  General American Transportation Co  on May 17, 1984, as 3700.  It was rebuilt by Livingston Rebuild Center as Burlington Northern 3075, Class GP-40G, on June 1, 1989.  It was retired on February 28, 1992, as GATX 3075.  It was leased to Missouri & Northern Arkansas as 3075  in May 1993 and then to DGNO as 3075 in September 1993.  It was transferred as Central Oregon & Pacific 3075 in December 1994 and as New England Central as 3075 in March 1996.  It was renumbered 4030 in 1998.

3077, GP40u, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1969, #34838, FN 7158-14, as B&O 3713, Class GP-40.  It was retired and became GATX 3713 on May 17, 1984.  It was rebuilt at Livington Rebuild Center as BN 3077, Class GP-40G, on May 13, 1988, and returned as GATX 3077 on February 28, 1992.  It was leased as M&NA 3077 in December 1992 and transferred as DGNO 3077 in September 1993.  It was transferred as CORP 3077 in August 1995 and transferred and renumbered as G-EXRR 4022 in November 1998.  It was transferred as Cape Breton & Central Nova Scotia 4022 in June 1999 and renumbered 3022 in April 2013.

3416, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1980, #786256-58, FN 786256-58,as Burlington Northern 8147, Class SD40-2 .  It was sold to Helm Leasing Co as HLCX 8147 in July 1980 and sold as DGNO 3416 in 2015.

3800, GP38-3, was built in Electro-Motive in September 1969, #35250, as Alabama Great Southern (Southern Ry) 2720, GP38 It was sold to Locomotive Leasing Partners 2720 in 1998, It was rebuilt at VMV in 1998, GP38-3, and leased to RailTex in 1998. It became Indiana & Ohio as 3800 and became Cape Breton & Central Nova Scotia 3800 and later as DGNO as 3800 in March 2000.

3802, GP38-3, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1969, #35272, as Cincinnati New Orleans & Texas Pacific (Southern Ry) 2742. It was sold to LLPX as 2742 and then was rebuilt at VMV in 1998 as CORP 3802. It has never served on CORP as of this writing. It is currently on DGNO.

3806, GP38-3, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1971, #38503, as Baltimore & Ohio 4023, Class GP-40. It was renumbered 6598 and becane CSX Transportation 6598, Class GP-40. It was retired on December 18, 1996, and sold to LLP as 6598 on February 21, 1997. It was rebuilt byVMV on November 1997 as GP38-3 on Cape Breton and Central Nova Scotia as 3806. It was changed to I&O as 3806 on to CORP 3806 on 1999. It was then changed as DGNO as 3806.

3812, GP38M-2, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1969, #35269, FN 5744-12, as Southern 2739. GP38.  It was sold as LLPX 2007 and rebuilt by VMV as NECR 3812.  It as assigned as CBCN and not lettered.  It was assigned as Dallas Garland & NorthEastern 3812 and lettering was removed.  It was sold to CIT Group as CEFX 3812 in 2011.

3833, GP38-2, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #35166, as Gulf Mobile & Ohio as 703. It became Illinois Central Gulf as 9522 and became Railtax as 9522 in 1997. It became DGNO as 9522 and rebuilt by VMV as DGNO 3833 on August 1998.  It was sold to Andersons Inc as AEX 999998 in November 2013 and resold as Puget Sound & Pacific RR 2053 in November 2013.

3863, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1967, #33707, as Chesapeake & Ohio 3876, Class GP-38. It was renumbered 2076 and later became CSX Transportation 2076, Class GP-38. It was sold to Railtex in 1994 as Texas Northeastern 5076. It was renumbered 3863 in 1998 and became DGNO 3863 in 1999.  It was sold to Bro-Tex International Metals in October 2011.

4016, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1966, #31875, as Norfolk & Western 1335. It was sold to Railtex in 1995 as Central Oregon & Pacific 1335 and then transferred to DGNO as 4016 in January 1999.

4017, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1966, #31878, as N&W 1338. It was sold to Railtex in 1995 as CORP 1338 and then transferred to DNGO as 4017 in January 1999.  It was sold to Bro-Tex International Metals in October 2011.

4018, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1966, #31885, as N&W 1345. It was sold to Railtex in 1995 as CORP 1345 and then transferred to DNGO as 4018 in January 1999.

4025, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1968, #34085, as Missouri-Kansas-Texas 202. It became Union Pacific 508 and was sold to Railtex in October 1992, as MNA 508 and was transferred to DGNO as 508 in March 1996. It was renumbered 4025 in March 1999.

6352, GP38-3, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1964, #29560, as Southern Pacific 7474, Class DF-623, a GP35. It was renumbered 6586, Class EF425-2, in 1966. It was rebuilt in 1979 to 6352, Class EF425-N1. It was sold to Omnitrax in 1998 and rebuilt in March 1999 as a GP38-3. It was leased to DGNO at that time and sold as CIT Financial 6352.

9486, SD45u, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1969, #34413, FN 7138-52, as SP 9045, Class EF636-5.  It was rebuilt at Sacramento in November 1983 as 7486, Class EF636-R2, and sold to CIT Financial as CEFX 9486 on June 10, 1999.  It was sold as Dallas Garland & NorthEastern 9486 on August 1, 2008, but it was not relettered.

 

A number of gons were built by Trinity Industries (no connection to us) in 1997, including 473.

13521, caboose, was purchased as Missouri Pacific 13521.

Carrollton Union Depot was built in 1924 after an older station burned and was owned by Missouri-Kansas-Texas.  It also served the St Louis South-Western and it also served for the Texas Interurban Ry between Septemer 1924 and 1931.  It was moved east of the crossing and restored in 2008.


Texas NorthEastern RR

25, GP9m, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1958, #24084, as Great Northern 903, Class GP-5.  It became Burlington Northern 1353, Class GP-5, in 1970 and sold as Cape Cod & Hyannis 1353 in 1988.  It was renumbered 25 and sold to Railtex in April 1989 as Georgia & Alabama 25.  It was transferred as Carolina Piedmont RR 25 and later TNER 25.

 

92, GP7, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1950, #11118, as Missouri-Kansas-Texas 1502.  It was renumbered 92 in 1958 and retired on May 9, 1989.  It was sold to Wilson Ry on July 19, 1989, and sold to Intermountain Western RR as 175.  It was then sold to TNER as 92.

107, GP7, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1951, #12065, as MKT 1517. It was renumbered 107 in May 1960 and sold to Wilson Ry Co on July 19, 1989. It was sold to TNER as 107 in June 1990.  It was sold as West Texas & Lubbock RR 107 in 2005.

115, GP7, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1951, #14992, as MKT 1525. It was renumbered 115 in 1958 and sold to Wilson Ry Co on July 19, 1989. It was sold to TNER as 115 in February 1991.

1237, SW9u, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1953, #18962, FN 6524-4, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 2437, Class 2418, a SW9.  It was retired on January 2, 1974, and rebuilt as 1237, Class 1214,  on March 29, 1974.  It was retired on December 4, 1984, and sold to RailTex in December 1984.  It was assigned as San Diego & Imperial Valley RR 1237 and transferred as TNER 1237 in 1990.  It was transferred as New Orleans & Lower Coast RR 1237 in 1993 and moved to other locations without changing lettering.

2153, GP7u, was built by Electro-Motive  in February 1951, #12210, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe  2682, Class 2650.  It was rebuilt at Cleburne in March 1979 as 2153, Class 2000, and was sold as TNER 2153 in September 1989.  It was transferred as Carolina Piedmont RR 2153 in 1997 and later sold to Midwest Locomotive Co as 2153.  It was sold as Respondek Rail Corp 2153.

3862, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1967, #33691, as Chesapeake & Ohio 3860, Class GP-38. It was renumbered 2060 and then became CSX Transportation 2060, Class GP-38. It was sold to Railtex in 1994 as TNE 5060, and was renumbered 3862 in 1997.

3863, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1967, #33707, as C&O 3876, Class GP-38. It was renumbered 2076 and later became CSX 2076, Class GP-38. It was sold to Railtex in 1994 as TNER 5076. It was renumbered 3863 in 1998 and became DGNO 3863 in 1999.  It was sold to Bro-Tex International Metals in October 2011.
