Electro-Motive GP38 Diesels

701 was built in August 1969, #35164, FN 7158-1.  It became Illinois Central Gulf 9520 and then was sold to New England Central as 9520. It was renumbered 3844.

702 was built in August 1969, #35165, FN 7158-2.  It became IC 9521 and sold as NECR 9521.  It was renumbered 3845.

703 was built in August 1969, #35166, FN 7158-3. It became ICG as 9522 and became Railtax as 9522 in 1997. It became Dallas Garland & NorthEastern as 9522 and rebuilt by VMV as DGNO 3833 on August 1998.

704 was built in August 1969, #35167, FN 7158-4.  It became ICG 9523 and became IC 9523.  It was sold as NECR 9523 and renumbered 3846.  It was wrecked at Westminster, VT, on April 9, 2001, and scrapped in May 2002.

705 was built in August 1969, #35168, FN 7158-5. It became IC 9524 and sold to Nebraska Public Power District as 1 in January 1991.

706 was built in August 1969, #35169, FN 7158-6. It became ICG 9525 in 1962 and sold to Neosho Rail Service as 9525 in 1994. They sold it to Gulf Colorado & San Saba as 9525.  It was sold to S&S Locomotive as SSRX 9525 in December 2014.

707 was built in August 1969, #35170, FN 7158-6  It became ICG 9526 and sold as Atlanta & St Andrews Bay 500 in April 1990.  It became Bay Line RR 500 in 2005.

708 was built in August 1969, #35171, FN 7158-8.  It became ICG 9527 and then was sold to NECR as 9527.  It was renumbered 3847 and transferred as Carolina Piedmont RR 2020 in 2013.

709 was built in August 1969, #35172, FN 7158-9. It became ICG 9528 and then was sold to NECR as 9528. It was renumbered 3848.

710 was built in August 1969, #35173, FN 7158-10. It became ICG 9529 and was sold to  as NECR 9529 in January 1995. It was sold to NEC as 9529 in 1998 and renumbered 3859 in August 2001.

711 was built in August 1969, #35174, FN 7158-11. It later became ICG 9530 and was sold to NECR as 9530. It was later renumbered 3849.  It was transferred as Connecticut Southern RR 2021 in February 2013.

712 was built in August 1969, #35175, FN 7185-12.  It became ICG 9531 and was sold to NECR as 9531.  It was renumbered 3850.

713 was built in August 1969, #35176, FN 7158-13  It became ICG 9532 and sold as Atlanta & St Andrews Bay 501 in April 1990.  It became Bay Line RR 501 in 2006.

714 was built in August 1969, #35177, FN 7158-14.  It became ICG 9533 and was sold to NECR 9533.  It was renumbered 3851.

715 was built in August 1969, #35178, FN 7158-15.  It later became ICG 9534 and then was sold to NECR as 9534.  It was later renumbered 3852.  It was transferred as Huron & Eastern 2027.

716 was built in August 1969, #35179, FN 7158-16.  It later became ICG 9535 and was sold to NECR as 9535.  It was later renumbered 3853 and sold to Bro-Tex International Metals in October 2011.

717 was built in August 1969, #35180, FN 7158-17. It later became ICG 9536 and was sold to NECR as 9536. It was later renumbered 3854 and had a fire in July 2005.  It was parted out and scrapped.

718 was built in August 1969, #35181, FN 7158-19.  It later became ICG 9537 and sold as NECR 9537.  It was later renumbered 3855.

719 was built in August 1969, #35182, FN 7158-19.  It later became ICG 9538 and had fire damage in October 1985.  It was scrapped by Naporano Iron & Metal Co.

720 was built in August 1969, #35183, FN 7158-20.  It became ICG 9539 and sold as NECR 9539.  It was transferred as Godrich-Exeter RR 9539 and renumbered 3856 in 1998.

721 was built in March 1971, #36079, FN 5766-1.  It became ICG 9540 and sold as Iowa Interstate RR 625 in July 1994.  It was sold as Grainbelt Corp 625 in November 2007.

722 was built in March 1971, #36080, FN 5766-2.  It became ICG 9541 and became IC 9541.  It was sold as Conrail Leasing Corp 326 and was sold to Helm Leasing Co as HLCX 3675.  It was sold to Indiana Rail Road as 32 and renumbered 3810.

723 was built in March 1971, #36081, FN 5766-3.  It became ICG 9542 and became IC 9542.  It was sold as HLCX 3676 and sold as INRD 3676.  It was planned as 33 but renumbered 3812.  It was sold as CIT Group as CITX 3814.  It was sold as Louisiana & North West 3814 in March 2018.

724 was built in March 1971, #36082, FN 5766-4.  It became IC 9543 and assigned as HLCX 3677,  It was sold as GEXR 9543 and renumbered 3835.

725 was built in March 1971, #36083, FN 5766-5.  It became ICG 9544 and sold as IAIS 626 in September 1994.  It was sold as GNBC 626 in November 2007.

726 was built in March 1971, #36084, FN 5766-5.  It became ICG 9545 and became IC 9545.  It was wrecked on November 27, 1989, and scrapped.

727 was built in March 1971, #36085, FN 5766-7.  It became ICG 9546 and became IC 9546.  It was sold as HLCX 3678 and sold as United States Sugar Co 404 in 2004.

728 was built in March 1971, #37451, FN 5766-8.  It became ICG 9547 and became IC 9547.  It was sold as HLCX 3679 and sold as INRD 30.  It was rebuilt to National Railway Equipment Co as NREX 30, GP38-2, in 2012.

729 was built in March 1971, #37452, FN 5766-9.  It became ICG 9548 and sold as IAIS 627 in September 1994.  It was sold as GNBC 627 in November 2007.

730 was built in April 1971, #36086, FN 7304-1.  It later became ICG 9549 and was sold to National Ry Equipment Co on April 8, 1994.  It was sold as NECR 9549 and renumbered 3857.

731 was built in April 1971, #36087, FN 7304-2.  It became ICG 9550 and sold as IAIS 628 in September 1994.  It was sold as GNBC 628 in February 2009.

732 was built in April 1971, #36088, FN 7304-3.  It became ICG 9551 and became IC 9551.  It was wrecked on November 27, 1989, and scrapped.

733 was built in December 1971, #7388-1, FN 7388-1.  It became IC 9552 and sold as HLCX 3681.  It was sold as INRD 31 and renumbered 3809.  It was sold to Foster Townsend Rail Logistics as FTRX 3809 in 2012.
