New England Central Ry.

 

437, GP40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1979, #786169-5, FN 786169-5, as Florida East Coast 423.  It was wrecked at Bunnell, FL, on April 11, 1987, and rebuilt by Republic Locomotive as 437 in August 1988.  It was transferred as NEC 437 in December 2011.

809, RP-E4, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1959, #24865, FN 5587-5, as Norfolk & Western 856, a GP9. It was rebuilt at Roanoke in October 1982 as 9710 and then sold to Cemtral Oregon & Pacific as 4165 in January 1998.  It was transferred as NEC 809 in February 2013.

2151, GP38-2, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1973, #71702-8, as Missouri Pacific 930.  It was renumbered 2081 in September 1974 and became Union Pacific 2081 on May 24, 1988.  It was retired on December 31, 1993, and transferred as Alton & Southern 2000 in January 1994.  It was sent to MEI and rebuilt as NEC 2151 in November 2019.

2168, GP38-2, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1974, #73752-7, FN 73752-7, as Southern Ry 5114.  It became Norfolk Southern  5114, Class GP38-2 and sold to Larry's Truck Electric in October 2017,  It was sold as NECas 2168 in 2020.

2716, SD40M-2, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1966, #32090, FN 5709-3, as Louisville & Nashville 1227, Class SD-40. It later became Seaboard System RR 1227 in January 1983 and renumbered 8303 in 1984.  It became CSX Transportation 8303, Class SD-40, in April 1986.  It was sold as Morrison Knudsen Corp 8303 and rebuilt at Moutaintop in June 1994.  It became Southern Pacific 8640, SD40M-2, on July 1, 1994, and assigned Union Pacific  4666, Class SD40M-2, and became UP 2716 on December 15, 2000.  It was sold as NEC 2716 in 2011.

3808, GP38M-2, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1969, #35248, FN 7189-3, as Southern Ry 2718, GP38.  It was sold as Locomotive Leasing Partners 2001 and rebuilt by VMV Enterprises as NEC 3808 in 1998.  It was transferred as Cape Breton & Central Nova Scotia RR 3808 and transferred as North Carolina & Virginia RR 3808.  It was transferred as Georgia Southwestern RR 3808 and transferred as Virgina Southern RR 3808.  It was sold as Vermont Ry 3808 in 2011 and renumbered 207 in January 2013

3812, GP38M-2, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1969, #35269, FN 5744-12, as Southern 2739. GP38.  It was sold as LLPX 2007 and rebuilt by VMV as NECR 3812.  It as assigned as CBCN and not lettered.  It was assigned as Dallas Garland & NorthEastern 3812 and lettering was removed.  It was sold to CIT Group as CEFX 3812 in 2011.

3844, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #35164, FN 7158-1, as Gulf Mobile & Ohio 701.  It became Illinois Central Gulf  9520 and then was sold to NECR as 9520. It was renumbered 3844.

3845, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #35165, FN 7158-2, as GM&O 702.  It became IC 9521 and sold as NECR 9521.  It was renumbered 3845.

3846, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #35167, FN 7158-4, as GM&O 704.  It became ICG 9523 and became IC 9523.  It was sold as NECR 9523 and renumbered 3846.  It was wrecked at Westminster, VT, on April 9, 2001, and scrapped in May 2002.

3847, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #35171, FN 7158-8, as GM&O 708.  It became ICG 9527 and then was sold to NECR as 9527.  It was renumbered 3847 and transferred as Carolina Piedmont RR 2020 in 2013.

3848, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #35172, FN 7158-9, as GM&O 709. It became ICG 9528 and then was sold to NECR as 9528. It was renumbered 3848.

3849, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #35174, FN 7158-11, as GM&O 711. It later became ICG 9530 and was sold to NECR as 9530. It was later renumbered 3849.  It was transferred as Connecticut Southern RR 2021 in February 2013.

3850, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #35175, FN 7185-12, as GM&O 712.  It became ICG 9531 and was sold to NECR as 9531.  It was renumbered 3850.

3851, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #35177, FN 7158-14, as GM&O 714.  It became ICG 9533 and was sold to NECR as 9533.  It was renumbered 3851.

3852, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #35178, FN 7158-15, as GM&O 715.  It later became ICG 9534 and then was sold to NECR as 9534.  It was later renumbered 3852.  It was transferred as Huron & Eastern 2027.

3853, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #35179, FN 7158-16, as GM&O 716.  It later became ICG 9535 and was sold to NECR as 9535.  It was later renumbered 3853 and sold to Bro-Tex International Metals in October 2011.

3854, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #35180, FN 7158-17, as GM&O 717. It later became ICG 9536 and then was sold to NECR as 9536.  It was later renumbered 3854 and had a fire in July 2005.  It was parted out and scrapped.

3855, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #35181, FN 7158-18, as GM&O 718.  It later became ICG 9537 and was sold to NECR as 9537.  It was later renumbered 3855.

3857, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1971, #36086, FN 7304-1, as GM&O 730.  It later became ICG 9549 and was sold to National Ry Equipment Co on April 8, 1994.  It was sold as NECR 9549 and renumbered 3857.

3859, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #33173, FN 7158-10, as GM&O 710. It later became ICG 9529 and was sold to National Ry Equipment Co as 9529 in January 1995. It was sold to NECR as 9529 in 1998 and renumbered 3859 in August 2001.

3869, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1969, #36024, FN 7024-24, as Southern Ry 2776.  It was sold as Saginaw Valley Ry 301 and transferred as NEC 3869.  It was transferred as Connecticut Southern RR 2038 in June 2014.

4001, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1967, #33275, FN 5733-1, as Norfolk & Western 1384. It was sold to Railtex and rebuilt as CORP 4001 in December 1997.  It was transferred as NEC 4001 in May 2012 and renumbered 3809 in February 2013.

4030, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1969, #34823. FN 7158-1, as Baltimore & Ohio 3700, Class GP-40.  It was leased as 9700 between February 1981 and April 1981.  It was returned to General American Transportation Co on May 17, 1984, as 3700.  It was rebuilt by Livingston Rebuild Center as Burlington Northern 3075, Class GP-40G, on June 1, 1989.  It was retired on February 28, 1992, as GATX 3075.  It was leased to Missouri & Northern Arkansas as 3075  in May 1993 and then to Dallas Garland & NorthEastern as 3075 in September 1993.  It was transferred as Central Oregon & Pacific 3075 in December 1994 and as NEC as 3075 in March 1996.  It was renumbered 4030 in 1998.

4047, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1969, #34837, FN 7158-15, as B&O 3714, Class GP-40. It was returned to GATX on May 17, 1984, as 3714. It was rebuilt by Livingston Rebuild Center as BN 3078, Class GP-40G, on May 3, 1989. It was retired on February 28, 1992, and became GATX 3078 on June 1, 1992. It was leased to M&NA as 3078 in December 1992 and then to NEC as 3078 in January 1995. It was renumbered 4047 in July 1999 and retired in October 2011.  It was rebuilt at Juniata by Railpower in March 2013, #RP178-004, as Dallas Garland & NorthEastern 145, RP20BD.

4048, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1969, #34845, FN 7158-23, as B&O 3722, Class GP-40.  It was returned as GATX 3722 on May 17, 1984.  It was rebuilt at Livingston in 1984 and rebuilt at Livingston in June 16, 1989, as BN 3080, Class GP-40G.  It was retired on February 28, 1992, and returned to GATX.  It was leased as Virginia Southern RR 3080 in June 1993 and transferred as Godrich-Exeter RR 3080 in January 1994.  It was transferred as NEC 3080 in May 1995 and renumbered 4048 in 1999.  It was rebuilt at Juniata by Railpower in March 2013, #RP178-005, as DGNO 146, RP20BD.

9536, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #35183, FN 7185-20, as GM&O 720.  It became ICG 9539 and sold as NEC 9539.  It was transferred as Godrich-Exeter RR 9539 and renumbered 3856 in 1998.
