Slugs
180 was built by General Electric in October 1956, #32543, as Virginian RR 130, EL45, Class EL-3. It became N&W 230, Class EL-3, in January 1960, and rebuilt as 180, a slug, in July 1962. It was retired in October 1963 and sold for parts to New York New Haven & Hartford.
9710, RP-E4, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1959, #24865, as N&W 856, GP9. It was rebuilt at Roanoke in October 1982 as 9710 and then sold to Cemtral Oregon & Pacific as 4165 in January 1998. It was transferred as New England Central 809 in February 2013.
9712, RP-E4, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1959, #24800, FN 582-29, as N&W 648, GP9. It was rebuilt in April 1983 as 9712 and became Norfolk Southern 912, Class RP-E4.
9731, RP-E4D, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1961, #26780, as N&W 939, GP18. It was retired in August 1984 and rebuilt as RP-E4D 9731 in February 1987,
9843, RP-E4U, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1955, #20591, as Georgia Southern & Florida 8215, GP9. It become 6257 in 1970 and was retired in October 1982. It was then rebuilt as N&W RP-E4U 9843 in January 1983.
9848, RP-E4U, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1959, #24890, as 881, GP9. It was retired in August 1984 and rebuilt as RP-E4U 9848 in May 1985.
9853, RP-E4U, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1959, #24882, FN 5587-23, as N&W 873, GP9. It was rebuilt as 9853, RP-E4U, on August 30, 1990, and rebuilt as Norfolk Southern 963, Class RP-E4U. It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co as NREX 963 on September 13, 2012.
