Electro-Motive GP38 Diesels

3800, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33318, FN 7060-1.  It was assigned as CSX Transportation 2000, Class GP-38, but it was retired on April 21, 1987, before it was renumbered.  It was sold to Wilson Railway Corp on June 1, 1987, and sold as New York Susquehanna & Western 2012 in January 1988.  It was sold as North Shore RR 2010.

3803, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33321, FN 7060-4.  It was later 2003 and then became CSX 2003, Class GP-38, in 1987.  It was retired on April 26, 1995, and sold to Helm Atlantic Leasing Corp as 3803 on July 10, 1995, and renumbered 114.  It later was sold to Ferrocarril Mexicano as 2028 in March 1999.

3804, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33322, FN 7060-5.  It was later 2004 and then became CSX 2004, Class GP-38, in 1987.  It was renumbered 9663, Class MOW, on March 18, 1997, and sold to Locomotive Leasing Partner as LLPX 2051 in May 31, 2000.  It was sold to GATX Rail Locomotive Group as GMTX 2655 and sold as Grenada Ry 2655 in October 2012.  It was returned as GMTX 2655 in 2016.

3805, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33323, FN 7060-6.  It was later 2005 and then became CSX 2005, Class GP-38, in 1987. It was retired on May 28, 1991, and sold to Phoenix Locomotive Leasing and sold as Conrail as 7602. However it went to Conrail Leasing as 302. It was then rebuilt at Juniata on April 25, 1995, as Amtrak 721.

3807, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33325, FN 7060-8. It was later 2007 and then became CSX 2007, Class GP-38, in 1987. It was retired on August 29, 1995, and sold to Helm Leasing Corp as 2007 on November 2, 1995. It was rebuilt by Metro East Industries as Bangor & Aroostook 302 on July 1996. It was returned to Helm as 302 on December 15, 2000.

3808, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33326, FN 7060-9.  It was later 2008 and then became CSX 2008, Class GP-38, in 1987.  It was retired on March 3, 1993, and unknown disposal.

3809, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33327, FN 7060-10.  It was later 2009 and then became CSX 2009, Class GP-38, in 1987.  It was retired on January 22, 1996, and sold to Helm Atlantic on April 10, 1996.  It was rebuilt by VMV as Nebraska Northeastern Ry 9701 in February 1997 and sold as Texas Rock Crusher Ry 101 in 2005.

3813, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33331, FN 7060-14. It was later 2013 and then became CSX 2013, Class GP-38. It was retired on August 29, 1995, and sold to Helm as 2013 on November 2, 1995. It was rebuilt by Metro East as BAR 303 in July 1996. It was returned to Helm renumber 3662.

3814, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33332, FN 7060-15.  It was later 2014 and then became CSX 2014, Class GP-38, in 1987.  It was retired in September 1998 and renumbered as 9666, Class MOW.  It was sold to Locomotive Leasing Partners on May 31, 2000, and sold as GMTX 2647.  It was sold as Burlington Northern Santa Fe 2045, Class GP38-2, in 2009.

3815, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33333, FN 7060-16.  It was later 2015 and then became CSX 2015, Class GP-38, in 1987.  It was retired on December 3, 1998.  It was stored at Metro East Industries and sold to Progress Rail Services.  It was rebuilt in 2008 as 2006. a PR22B.

3817, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33335, FN 7060-18.  It was later 2017 and then became CSX 2017, Class GP-38, in 1987.  It was retired on February 23, 1990.  It was rebuilt by National Railway Equipment in 1991 and leased as Chicago & North Western 4709 in December 1991.  It was assigned as Union Pacific 2068 in May 1995, reassigned as UP 1908, and reassigned UP 374.  It became UP 408 on December 21, 2001, and retired on October 13, 2003.  It became CIT Financial Group 408.

3818, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33336, FN 7060-19.  It was renumbered 2018 and then became CSX 2018, Class GP-38.  It was retired on June 23, 1994, and sold to Helm Atlantic Leasing Co as HATX 100 on June 12, 1994.  It was leased as Wheeling & Lake Erie 100 in November 1994 and returned on July 31, 1997.  It was leased as Transportacion Ferroviaria Mexicana 1150 in December 1997 and returned to Helm as 1150 in June 2001.  It went to Kansas & Oklahoma RR 1150 in June 2001 and became WAMX 3801.

3821, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33339, FN 7060-22.  It was later 2021 and then became CSX 2021, Class GP-38, and retired on March 1, 1999.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment and sold to GATX Rail Locomotive Group as GMTX 2644.

3823, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33341, FN 7060-24.  It was later 2023 and then became CSX 2023, Class GP-38.  It was retired on December 18, 1996, and sold to Helm  as HLCX 117 on February 24, 1997.  It was leased as RaiLink-Ottawa Valley 2003 in 1997 and transferred as Toledo Peoria & Western 2003 in 1999.  It was returned as HLCX 117 and renumbered 3628 in May 2000.

3824, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33342, FN 7060-25.  It was later 2024 and then became CSX 2024, Class GP-38.  It was retired on January 21, 1997, and sold to Locomotive Leasing Partners on April 19, 1997.  It was shipped to VMV on May 2, 1997 and rebuilt as GP38-2 as Indiana & Ohio 3805 in October 1997.  It was transferred as Central Oregon & Pacific 3805 and sold to CIT Financial Group as CEFX 3805 in 2011.

3826, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33344, FN 7060-27. It was later 2026 and then became CSX 2026, Class GP-38. It was retired on June 23, 1994, and sold to Helm as 2026 in August 15, 1994. It was rebuilt by Peoria Locomotive in June 1995 in Helm Atlantic Leasing as 109. It later became Yadkin Valley RR as 109 in 1998.

3827, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33345, FN 7060-28. It was later 2027 and then became CSX 2027, Class GP-38. It was retired on October 21, 1996, and sold to Helm as 2027 in November 27, 1996. It was rebuilt by Boise in May 1997 as Union Pacific as 2412 on May 2, 1997. It was renumbered 912 on May 26, 2003.

3829, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33347, FN 7060-30. It was later 2029 and then became CSX 2029, Class GP-38. It was retired on November 25, 1992, and sold to Steel Processing Corp on March 11, 1993. It later became Quebec North Shore & Labrador as 9501 on November 15, 1995.

3832, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33350, FN 7060-33. It was later 2032 and then became CSX 2032, Class GP-38. It was retired on February 1, 1996, and sold to Helm on May 2, 1996. It was rebuilt by Boise in December 1996 as UP 2408 on December 17, 1996. It was renumbered 908 on January 24, 2004.

3833, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33351, FN 7060-34. It was later 2033 and then became CSX 2033, Class GP-38. It was retired on March 6, 1996, and sold to Helm on May 2, 1996. It was rebuilt by Boise in November 1996 as UP 2400 on November 6, 1996. It was renumbered 900 on July 23, 2003.

3834, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33352, FN 7060-35. It was later 2034 and then became CSX 2034, Class GP-38. It was retired on March 6, 1996, and sold to Helm on May 2, 1996. It was rebuilt by Boise in November 1996 as UP 2401 on November 9, 1996. It was renumbered 901 on December 11, 2003.

3835, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33353, FN 7060-36.  It was later 2035 and then became CSX 2035, Class GP-38.  It was renumbered as 9654, Class MOW, on August 11, 1995 and retired  on November 21, 1996.  It was sold as LLPX 2053 on  May 31, 2000.

3837, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33355, FN 7060-38.  It was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in July 1971, FN 8085-1. It was later renumbered 2037 and then became CSX 2037, Class GP-38. It was retired on December 9, 1992, and sold to Consolidated Railroad Corp in June 10, 1993. It was rebuilt in Juniata in 1994 as Conrail Leasing Corp as 303. It was sold as Buffalo & Pittsburgh RR as 2000 in November 1994.

3838, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33356, FN 7060-39. It was later 2038 and then became CSX 2038, Class GP-38. It was retired on January 13, 1993, and sold for scrap by Steel Processing Co on March 11, 1993.

3839, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33357, FN 7060-40. It was later 2039 and then became CSX 2039, Class GP-38. It was retired in November 25, 1992, and sold as Conrail Leasing 304 in 1994. It was rebuilt at Juniata in December 1994 and sold to Central Oregon & Pacific as 5039 on December 9, 1994. It was renumbered as 3820 in 1998 and transferred as San Diego & Imperial Valley RR 3820.   It was sold as Lascasiana SA de CV as LASX 3820.

3840, Class GP-38, was built in December 1967, #33358, FN 7060-41. It was later 2040 and then came CSX 2040, Class GP-38. It was sold to Locomotive Leasing Partner as 2040 in May 31, 2000.

3841, Class GP-38, was built in November 1967, #33359, FN 7060-42. It was later 2041 and then came CSX 2041, Class GP-38. It was retired on March 30, 1992, and was sold for Housatonic RR on August 11, 1992. It was sold on September 8, 1992, on Conrail and became Conrail Leasing Co as 305 on 1994. It then came to CORP as 5041 on April 5, 1995, and was renumbered 3821 on August 1998. It was transferred as Salt Lake City Southern RR 3821 on August 1999 and then Goodrich-Exeter RR 3821 on December 1999.

3842, Class GP-38, was built in November 1967, #33360, FN 7060-43. It was later 2042 and then came CSX 2042, Class GP-38. It was retired on March 3, 1993, and was sold on June 10, 1993, to Conrail Leasing Co as 306. It was rebuilt at Juniata on December 6, 1994, and sold to CORP as 5042 in December 1994 and was renumbered 3822 in 1998.

3844, Class GP-38, was built in November 1967, #33362, FN 7060-45.  It became CSX 2044, Class GP-38, and retired on June 25, 1990.  It was rebuilt by NRE in 1991 as GP38-2, and leased as C&NW 4708 in December 1991.  It was assigned as UP 2063 in May 1995, reassigned as UP 1907, and reassigned UP 373.  It became UP 407 on April 3, 2001, and retired on October 13, 2003.  It became CEFX 407.

3845, Class GP-38, was built in November 1967, #33363, FN 7060-46.  It was renumbered 2045 in 1986 and became CSX 2046, Class GP-38, in 1987.  It was retired on March 1, 1999, and sold to National Railway Equipment Co on February 28, 2001.  It was rebuilt as Burlington Northern Santa Fe 2020, Class GP38-2, in October 2006.

3846, Class GP-38, was built in November 1967, #33364, FN 7060-47. It was renumbered 2046 in 1986 and later became CSX 2046, Class GP-38, in 1987. It was retired on January 31, 1992, and sold to Aberdeen Carolina & Western as 3802 in September 22, 1992.  It was wrecked in April 2002 and rebuilt in 2004.  It was sold to Progress Rail Services on February 7, 2007, and rebuilt as gen-set PRSX 3802.

3847, Class GP-38, was built in November 1967, #33365, FN 7060-48.  It was renumbered 2047 in 1986 and became CSX 2047, Class GP-38, in 1987.  It was sold to Phoenix Locomotive Leasing and planned as Conrail 7601 but became Conrail Leasing Co 300 in 1994.  It was rebuilt in December 1994 as Central Oregon & Pacific 5047 on December6, 1994, and renumbered 3824 in 1998.  It was transferred as San Joaquin Valley 3824 in November 2013.

3849, Class GP-38, was built in November 1967, #33367, FN 7060-50. It was later 2049 in 1986 and then became CSX 2049, Class GP-38, in 1987. It was retired on May 9, 1997, and sold to Helm Atlantic as 2049 on July 30, 1997. It was rebuilt by VMV in January 9, 1998, as UP 2417 and renumbered 917 on August 22, 2003.

4800, Class GP-38, was built in August 1970, #36676, FN 7274-11.  It was later 2100 in 1986 and then became CSX 2100, Class GP-38, in 1987.  It was rebuilt as 9650, Class MOW, on May 22, 1995, and sold as LLPX 2047 on May 31, 2000.

4801, Class GP-38, was built in August 1970, #36677, FN 7274-12.  It was renumbered 2101 in 1986 and became CSX 2101, Class GP-38, in 1987.  It was retired on November 18, 1994, and sold to Helm Atlantic on February 3, 1995.  It was rebuilt by Canada Wide Locomotive Services as HATX 108 on March 3, 1995, and sold to WATCo as WAMX 3819.

4803, Class GP-38, was built in August 1970, #36679, FN 7274-14.  It was renumbered 2103 in 1986 and became CSX 2103, Class GP-38, in 1987.  It was retired on June 23, 1994, and sold to Helm Atlantic Corp on May 12, 1994.  It was rebuilt by VMV Enterprises in 1994 as Wheeling & Lake Erie 102 and retired on July 31, 1997.  It was leased as Transportacion Ferroviaria Mexicana 1152 in December 1997 and sold as Kansas & Oklahoma RR 1152 in May 2001.  It became as WAMX 3803 in 2009 and sold to Progress Rail Services as PRLX 3803.

4804, Class GP-38, was built in August 1970, #36680, FN 7274-15. It was later 2104 in 1986 and then became CSX 2104, Class GP-38, in 1987. It was retired on January 22, 1996, and was later Helm Leasing Corp at 2104 in April 10, 1996. It was rebuilt as Union Pacific as 2416 on September 10, 1997, and renumbered 916 on January 30, 2004.

4805, Class GP-38, was built in September 1970, #36681, FN 7274-16.  and became CSX 2105, Class GP-38.  It was wrecked and retired in November 1991.  It was rebuilt by NRE as GP38-2 and leased as Chicago & North Western 4705 in December 1991.  It was assigned as Union Pacific 2064 in May 1995, reassigned as UP 1904, and reassigned UP 370.  It became UP 404 on August 8, 2001, and retired on October 13, 2003.  It was sold as CEFX 404.

4806, Class GP-38, was built in September 1970, #36682, FN 7274-17.  It was later 2108 in 1986 and CSX 2108, Class GP-38, in 1987.  It was retired on May 26, 1993, and sold to C&F Locomotive Services on July 22, 1993.  It was sold thru Precision National Corp and sold as Grand Rapids Eastern RR 5106 in November 1993.  It was renumbered 3839 in 1999.

4807, Class GP-38, was built in September 1970, #36683, FN 7274-18. It was later 2107 and then became CSX 2107, Class GP-38. It was retired on December 4, 1998, and was sold to LLP as 2010 in July 1999.

4810, Class GP-38, was built in September 1970, #36686, FN 7274-21.  It was wrecked at Blenheim, ON, on February 19, 1985, and retired on July 16, 1986.  It was sold to Mansbach Metals in March 1988 and resold to National Railway Equipment Co in August 1988.  It was rebuilt as NRL 4810 and leased to New York Susquehanna & Western.  It was sold to San Manuel Arizona RR as 18 in 1993.

4812, Class GP-38, was built in September 1970, #36688, FN 7274-23. It was later 2112 and then became CSX 2112, Class GP-38. It was retired in April 2000 and was sold to LLP as 2026 in February 2001.

4813, Class GP-38, was built in September 1970, #36689, FN 7274-24. It was later 2113 and then became CSX 2113, Class GP-38. It was retired on January 22, 1996, and sold to Helm on April 10, 1996. It became Helm Atlantic 116 on February 1997 and then sold to Rail Link-Ottawa Valley 2002 in May 1997. It was renumbered 3872 in 2000.   It was sent to Juniata and rebuilt by Railpower Technologies in February 2013, #RP178-002, as Dallas Garland & NorthEastern 143, RP20BD.

4815, Class GP-38, was built in September 1970, #36691, FN 7274-26. It was later 2115 and then became CSX 2115, Class GP-38. It was retired on January 21, on 1997, and sold to Illinois Central on April 23, 1997. It was sold then to Helm Atlantic as 115 on October 24, 1997, It was sent to Transportacion Ferroviaria Mexicana 1154 in December in 1997 and returned to Helm as 1154 in June 2000. It went to Kansas & Oklahoma RR 1154 in May 2001 and as WAMX 3805.
