VMV Enterprises

507, GP39, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1970, #36312, FN 7256-1, as Atlanta & St Andrews 507.  It was sold as VMV 507 and transferred as Paducah & Louisville 8507.

601, GP35, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1964, #28442, FN 7670-1, as Gulf Mobile & Ohio 601.  It was assigned as Illinois Central Gulf 2500 but sold as VMV 601.  It was rebuilt as  Burlington Northern 2972 in October 1990 and later became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 2972, Class GP-39E, in October 1999.  It became Class GP-39R and sold as WATCo 3903.

627, GP35, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1965, #29748, FN 7764-3, as GM&O 627.  It was assigned ICG 2525 but was sold as VMV 627.

937, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1969, #34570, FN 7148-1, as Chicago & North Western 937, SD45. It was retired on November 19, 1987, and in October 1989 it was sold to VMVas 937. It was later rebuilt as Kansas City Southern 611 to SD40-3 standards in 1995 and renumbered 3138. It was retired.

2519, GP35, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1964, #29278, FN 7729-9, as GM&O 621.  It became ICG 2519 and sold as VMV 2519.  It was rebuilt by VMV as BN 2977, Class GP-39V, in November 1990 and became BNSF 2977, Class GP39V, in June 2001.  It became GP-39R and sold as WAMX 3908.

2522, GP35, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1964, #29510, FN 7729-12, as GM&O 624.  It became ICG 2522 and sold as VMV 2522.  It was rebuilt by VMV as BN 2976, Class GP-39V, on November 20, 1990, and became BNSF 2976, Class GP39V, on September 19, 2001.  It became Class GP-39R and sold as WAMX 3907.  It was assigned as Kansas & Oklahoma.

2001, SD40-3, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1973, #73634-7, FN 73634-7, as Soo Line RR 773. It later got Canadian Pacific cab lettering.  It was retired in January 2001 and sold to Helm Leasing,  It was rebuilt as VMV as 2001, a SD40-3, and sold as National Railway Equipment Co 2001.  It was sold as North Shore Mining Co 2001 in December 2010.

2600, SD35, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1965, #30902, #FN 7838-35, as Southern Ry 3060.  It was retired in June 1986 and sold to Gibbs Railway Equipment in December 1987.  It was sold as VMV 2600 and rebuilt by VMV in November 1992 as Burlington Northern 6264, Class SD38P.  It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 6264, Class SD38P, and renumbered 1804 in 2007.  It was renumbered 1554 in 2009.

3034, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1969, #34504, FN 7144-1, as Missouri Pacific 734.  It was renumbered 3034 in March 1974 returned in U S Leasing Corp on July 31, 1984. It was later sold to VMV as 3034. It was then rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in August 1990 as CSX Transportation 8475, Class SD40-2, on September 20, 1990.  It was destroyed on January 19, 1991.

3040, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1969, #34510, FN 7144-7, as MP 740.  It was renumbered 3040 in May 1978 and sold to VMVin 1984.  It was leased as Chicago & North Western 3040 in September 1988 and returned in August 1989.  It was sold to Morrison Knudsen and rebuilt as CSX 8462, Class SD40M-2, on August 3, 1990. 

3052, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1969, #34522, FN 7144-19, as MP 752. It renumbered 3052 in March 1974 and returned in U S Leasing Corp in June 1984. It was later sold to Paducah & Louisville as 3052 and then VMV as 3052. It was then rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in August 1990 as CSX 8466, Class SD40-2, on August 17, 1990.

3112, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1967, #33589. FN 7074-8, as Southern Ry 3112. It was sold to Helm Leasing Co as 3112 in October 1987 and later sold to VMV as 3112.

3120, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1967, #33597, FN 7074-16, as Southern Ry 3120. It was retired August 1987 and sold to Helm Leasing in December 1988. It was then sold to VMV as 3120 in September 1988 and later scrapped by National Railway Equipment in June 1989.

3123, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1967, #33545, FN 7068-2, as Southern Ry 3123, It was sold to VMV as 3123 in November 1987.

3139, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1967, #33561, FN 7068-18, as Southern Ry 3139. It was sold to VMV as 3139 in December 1987.

3162, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1970, #36111, FN 5755-3, as Southern Ry 3162. It was sold to VMV as 3162 in November 1987.

3167, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1970, #36116, FN 5755-8, as Southern Ry 3167. It was retired in February 1987 and sold to Electro-Motive Leasing as 3167 in June 1988. It was later sold to VMV as 3167 and later to Eastern Idaho RR as 3167 in 1993. In 1999 it became Watco 3167 and assigned later as 4502.

3516, GP35Cat, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1964, #29300, FN 7670-12, as Gulf Mobile & Ohio 612.  It later became Illinois Central Gulf 2511 and rebuilt at Paducah as VMV 3516 in 1990.  It became PAL 3516 and sold as Peoria & Pekin Union RR 2001.  It became Tazewell & Peoria RR 2001 in 2004 and scrapped in August 2012.

4491, GP7u, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1952, #16886, FN 5209-9, as Chicago & North Western 1573. It was rebuilt at Oelwein on November 2, 1978, as 4491 and was retired on January 17, 1991,  It was sold as VMV 4491 in February 1991 and sold as Washington Central RR 4491.  It was sold to Burlington Northern Santa Fe in 1996 but never used.  It was sold to Livingston Rebuilt Center in June 1997 and sold as Nebraska Kansas & Colorado Railnet 4.

4533, GP9u, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1957, #23548, FN 7542-7, as C&NW 1731.  It was rebuilt at Oelwein as 4533 on July 10, 1978, and retired on January 17, 1991.  It was sold as VMV 4533 in February 1991 and sold as Wisconsin & Southern 433.  It was rebuilt as 912 in 2001 and later sold to Farmers Cooperative Co as FARX 912.

6192, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1968, #33826, FN 7993-23, as Pennsylvania RR 6192, Class EF-36, SD45.  It became Penn Central 6192, Class EF-36, in 1968, and became Consolidated Railroad Corp 6192, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold as Chicago & North Western 6192 but assigned 6519 on April 4, 1983.  It was sold as VMV 6192 on October 10, 1989.  It was rebuilt by MK Rail in September 1994 as Southern Pacific 8655.  It was assigned Union Pacific 4681 and became UP 2731.

6669, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1966, #32362, FN 7929-13, as Atlantic Coast Line 927, a GP40. It became Seaboard Coast Line 1512 in July 1967 and then Seaboard System RR 6669. It then became CSX Transportation 6669, Class GP-40, and then sold to VMV as 6669. It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in June 1991 and was completed on June 14, 1991, as Virginia Railway Express V01.  It was sold to Motive Power Industries as MPEX 101 in 2011 and sold as Bay Line RR 2318 in 2012

6685, SDP45, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1970, #36658, FN 7246-1, as Erie Lackawanna 3654, Class MFE-36D-6A. It became Consolidated Locomotive Co 6685, Class SDP-45, in April 1976 and later was sold to VMV as 6685. It was then sold and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as Southern Pacific 8691 on December 28, 1994. It was assigned Union Pacific 4717 on September 1997 and became UP 2767 on December 5, 2003.  It was retired on October 12, 2010, and sold as National Railway Equipment Co  as NREX 2767 in April 2014.

6686, SDP45, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1970, #36659, FN 7246-2, as EL 3655, Class MFE-36D-6A. It became Conrail 6686, Class SDP-45, in April 1976 and later was told to VMV as 6686 in 1986. It was sold as Morrison-Knudsen 9510 and sold to Helm Leasing Co as HLCX 6515, SD40M-3.

6687, SDP45, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1970, #36660, FN 7246-3, as EL 3656, Class MFG-36D-6A.  It became Conrail 6687, Class SDP-45, in April 1976, and later was sold to VMV as 6687 in 1986. On March 19, 1994, it was sold to Morrison-Knudsen as 9511 and sold as Wisconsin Central Ltd as 6634.  It was sold to Larry's Truck Equipment and scrapped.

6688, SD45-2, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1970, #36661, FN 7246-4, as EL 3657, Class MFE-36D-6A. It was rebuilt from an SDP45 by Electro-Motive in 1974 to -2 standards. In April 1976 it became Conrail 6688, Class SD45-2. It was later sold to VMV as 6688. On March 19, 1994, it was sold to MK as 9512. Later it became Helm 7011. It finally came to Montana Rail-Link as 332.

6691, SD45-2, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1970, #36664, FN 7246-7, as EL 3660, Class MFE-36D-6A,  It was rebuilt from an SPD45 by Electro-Motive in 1974 to -2 standards.  In April 1976 it became Conrail 6691, Class SD45-2.  It was later sold to VMV as 6691.  On March 19, 1994, it was sold to MK as 9513.

6692, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1966, #31790, FN 7897-6, as Seaboard Air Line 621.  In July 1967 it became Seaboard Coast Line 1536 and later Seaboard System RR 1536.  It was renumbered 6692 and then became CSX 6692, Class GP-40.  It was sold as VMV 6692 and rebuilt as United States Army 4631.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co as 4631 and sold as Fort Worth & Western 2020 "Wyatt Earp" in December 2011.

6694, SDP45, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1970, #36881, FN 7246-10 as EL 3663, Class MFE-36D-61. It became Conrail 6694, Class SDP-45, in April 1976 and later sold to VMV as 6694.

6695, SDP45, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1970, #36880, FN 7642-9, as EL 3662, Class MFE-36D-6A, SDP45.  It became Conrail 6695, Class SDP-45, in April 1976 and later sold as VMV 6695.  It was sold and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as SP 8695 in January 1995.  It was assigned as UP 4721, Class SD40M-2, in September 1997 and became UP  2771 on November 13, 2002.

6696, Class SDP-45, was built by Electro-Motive  in August 1970, #36683, FN 7243-12, as EL 3665, Class MFE-36D-6A.  It became Conrail 6696, Class SDP-45, in April 1976 and sold to VMV as 6696.  It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as 8694 on January 16, 1995, and assigned  UP 2770, Class SD40M-2, but wrecked on November 26, 2007, as Bertram, CA. 

6699, SDP-45, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1970, #36886, FN 7246-15, as EL 3668, Class MFE-36D-6A.  It became Conrail 6699, Class SDP-45, in April 1976 and sold to VMV as 6699.  It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as SP 8692 on December 30, 1994.  It became UP 2768, Class SD40M-2, on November 29, 2000, and retired on October 12, 2010.  It was sold to Citicorp Railmark and sold to National Railway Equipment Co.

6885, U36C, was built by General Electric on December 4, 1972, #38587, as EL 3317, Class MFG-36D-6.  It became Conrail 6588, Class U36C, in April 1976 and renumbered 6885 in October 1979.  It was retired in December 1987 and sold as VMV 6885.

8301, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1966, #32088, FN 5701-1, as Louisville & Nashville 1225, Class SD-40.  It became Seaboard System RR 1225 in January 1983 and renumbered 8301 in 1984.  It became CSX Transportation 8301, Class SD-40, in April 1986 and sold as VMV Entrprises 8301.  It was rebuilt to General Motors Corp as EMDX 6500 and rebuilt as Belt Ry of Chicago 574.  It was rebuilt as slug and renumbered BRC 570B.

8308, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1969, #34761, FN 7155-4, as L&N 1232, Class SD-40.  It later became SBD 1232 in January 1983 and renumbered 8308 in 1984.  It became CSX 8308, Class SD-40, in April 1986 and sold as VMV 8308.   It was rebuilt as EMDX 6501 and rebuilt to First Union Rail as FURX 3043, SD40-2.  It was sold as Kiamichi RR 3381 in November 2013.

8327, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1971, #38205, FN 5787-3, as L&N 1251, Class SD-40.  It became SBD 1251 in January 1983 and renumbered 8327 in 1984.  It became CSX 8327, Class SD-40, in April 1986 and sold as VMV Enterprise 8327.  It was rebuilt as EMDX 6502 and rebuilt as BRC 573, SD38-3.  It was sold to Cargill Inc as CRGX 573 in 2013.

8333, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1971, #38211, FN 5787-9, as L&N 1257, Class SD-40.  It became SBD 1257 in January 1983 and renumbered 8333 in 1984.  It became CSX 8333, Class SD-40, in April 1986 and sold as VMV 8333.  It was rebuilt as EMDX 6504 and rebuilt as BRC 571.

8345, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1969, #34744, FN 7152-3, as Clinchfield RR 3011, a SD40.  It later became SBD 8286 in January 1983 and then renumbered 8345 in 1984.  It later became CSX 8345, Class SD-40, and sold as VMV  8345.  It was sold as EMDX 6505 and rebuilt at VMV as UP 4775 on October 24, 1999, as SD40-2.  It was renumbered 2825 on January 8, 2002, and retired on June 6, 2002.  It was returned as Locomotive Leasing Partners  2825.

8355, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1971, #37538, FN 5776-2, as Clinchfield 3021.  It later became SBD 8296 in January 1983 and renumbered 8355 in 1984.  It became CSX 8355, Class SD-40, in April 1986 and sold as VMV 8355.  It was sold as EMDX 6506 and rebuilt as Belt Ry of Chicago 572, SD38-3.  It was rebuilt as BRC 573B, slug.

8358, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1971, #37541, FN 5776-5, as Clinchfield 3024. It later became SBD 8299 and then was renumbered 8358, It later became CSX 8358, Class SD-40, and then was sold to VMV as 8358. It was rebuilt as GMC 6507 for the lease fleet and leased as Northshore Mining Co 650.

8363, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive  in April 1969, #34782, FN 7159-8, as Chesapeake & Ohio 7504, Class SD-40.  It was renumbered 8363 in 1984 and became CSX 8363, Class SD-40, in 1985.  It was sold as VMV 8363 and rebuilt as EMDX 6508.  It was rebuilt as BRC 575, SD38-3.

8445, GP9u, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1955, #20878, FN 5413-32 as C&O 5969, Class MRSE-17.  It was reclassified as Class GP-9 in 1964 and rebuilt at Paducah as Illinois Central Gulf  8445 in 1974.  It was sold as Paducah & Louisville 8445 and transferred as VMV 8445.  It was rebuilt at P&L 1798.

8900, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1966, #31840, FN 5703-1, as  Atlantic Coast Line 1024.  It became Seaboard Coast Line 2000 in May 1976 and Seaboard System 2000 in January 1983.  It was renumbered 8900 in 1984 and became CSX Transportation 8900, Class SD-45, in April 1986.  It was sold as VMV 8900 and rebuilt by MK Rail on August 27, 1994, as Southern Pacific 8600, as SD40M-2.  It was assigned as UP 4626 and became Union Pacific 2676, Class SD40M-2, on January 23, 2003.  It was sold to Citicorp Railmark Inc as CREX 2676 in 2012.

8901, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1966, #31841, FN 5703-2, as ACL 1025.  It became SCL 2001 in May 1976 and SBD 2001 in January 1983.  It was renumbered 8901 in 1984 and became CSX 8901, Class SD-45, in April 1986.  It was sold as VMV 8901 and rebuilt by MK Rail on December 30, 1994, as SP 8592, as SD40M-2.  It was assigned as UP 4614 and became UP 2668, Class SD40M-2, on September 10, 2001.  It was sold  as Huron & Eastern RR 2668 in May 2012.

8902, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1966, #31842, FN 5703-3, as ACL 1026.  It became SCL 2002 in May 1976 and SBD 2002 in January 1983.  It was renumbered 8902 in 1984 and became CSX 8902, Class SD-45, in April 1986.  It was sold as VMV 8902 and rebuilt by MK Rail to SD40-2 standards as Kansas City Southern 620 in May 1995.  It was assigned as 3106 but retired.  It was sold to Progress Rail Service in 2008 and scrapped.

8903, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1966, #31843, FN 5703-4, as ACL 1027. It became SCL 2003 and later became SBD 2003.  It was renumbered 8903 and became CSX 8903, Class SD-45.  It was sold to VMV Enterprises as 8903 and  Morrison Knudsen Corp as 9517.  It was sold to Helm Leasing Co as HLCX 6510.

8904, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1966, #31844, FN 5703-5, as ACL 1028.  It became SCL 2004 in May 1976 and SBD 2004 in January 1983.  It was renumbered 8904 in 1984.  It later became CSX 8904, Class SD-45, in April 1986 and sold to VMV as 8904.  It was rebuilt to SD40-2 standards as KCS 621 in May 1995.  It was assigned as 3107 but retired.

8905, SD45, was built by Ekectro-Motive in December 1966, #31845, FN 5703-6, as ACL 1029.  It became SCL 2005 in May 1976 and SBD 2005 in January 1983.  It was renumbered 8905 in 1984.  It later became CSX 8905, Class SD-45, in April 1986, and sold to VMV as 8905.   It later sold to Montana Rail-Link as 8905 and assigned as 376. It was transferred to I&M Rail-Link as 8905 and returned to MRL as 8905.  It was sold to Progress Rail Services and scrapped.

8906, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1966, #31846, FN 5703-7, as ACL 1030.  It became SCL 2007 in May 1976 and SBD 2007 in January 1983.  It was renumbered 8907 in 1984. It later became CSX 8907, Class SD-45, in April 1986 and sold to VMV as 8907. It later sold to MRL as 8907. It was transferred to I&M Rail-Link as 8907 and returned to MRL as 8907.

8908, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1966, #31848, FN 5703-9, as ACL 1032.  It became SCL 2008 in May 1976  and SBD 2008 in January 1983.  It was renumbered 8908 in 1984.  It became CSX 8908, Class SD-45, in April 1986 and sold as VMV 8908.  It was rebuilt by MK Rail on August 22, 1994, as Southern Pacific 8601 and became Union Pacific 2677, Class SD40M-2, on August 28, 2003.  It was sold to Citicorp Railmark Inc as CREX 2677 in 2012.

8910, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1968, 31463, FN 7125-1, as SCL 2010.  It became SBD 2010 in January 1983 and renumbered 8910 in 1984.  It became CSX 8910, Class SD-45, in April 1986 and sold to VMV 8910.  It was sold to MRL as 8910 and renumbered  378.  It was sold to MRL as 8910 and renumbered  378.  It was transferred to I&MRL as 378 and returned to MRL as 378.  It was sold to Progress Rail Services and scrapped.

8917, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1968, #34170, FN 7123-8, as SCL 2017. It became SBD 2017 in January 1983 and then renumbered 8917 in 1984. It later became CSX 8917, Class SD-45, in April 1986 and later was rebuilt by Morrison-Knudsen in 1994 as SP 8597. It was assigned UP 4619 in September 1997 and became UP 2673 on March 20, 2003, Class SD40M-2.

8918, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1968, #34171, FN 7123-9, as SCL 2018.  It became SBD 2018 and then renumbered 8918.  It later became CSX 8918, Class SD-45 and sold as VMV 8918.  It was sold to MRL as 8918 and assigned as 379.  It was transferred to I&MRL as 8918 and returned to MRL as 8918.

8919, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1968, #34172, FN 7123-10, as SCL 2019. It later became SBD 2019 and was then renumbered 8919. It later became CSX 8919, Class SD-45. It was sold to VMC as 8919 and then rebuilt to SD40-3 standards as Kansas City Southern 623. 

8920, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1968, #34173, FN 7123-11, as SCL 2020, a SD45.  It became SBD 2020 and then renumbered 8920.  It later became CSX 8920, Class SD-45, and sold as VMV 8920.  It was rebuilt by MK Rail on July 1, 1994, as SP 8591.  It became UP 2667, Class SD40M-2, on July 20, 2001.

8923, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1968, #34176, FN 7123-14. as SCL 2023.  It later became SBD 2023 and was renumbered 8923.  It later became CSX 8923, Class SD-45.  It was sold to VMV as 8923.  It was rebuilt by MK Rail to SD40-2 standards as SP 8676 on November 11, 1994.  It became UP 2752, Class SD40M-2, on December 17, 2003.

8924, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1971, #37715, FN 5784-1, as SCL 2024.  It became SBD 2024 in January 1983 and then renumbered 8924 in 1984.  It later became CSX 8924, Class SD-45, in April 1986.  It was sold to VMV as 8924 and sold to MRL as 8924.  It was transferred as IMRL 8924 and returned to MRL.  It was sold as Northern Illinois & Wisconsin Ry 8924 in 2007 and sold as Vintage Locomotives Inc 8924 in January 2015.  It was acquired by Southern Appalachia Ry Museum in 2015 and restored as Clinchfield RR 3632.

8930, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1971, #37721, FN 5784-7, as SCL 2030. It later became SBD 2030 in January 1983 and renumbered 8930 in 1984.  It became CSX 8930, Class SD-45, as April1 1986.  It was sold as VMV 8930 and rebuilt as KCS 627, SD40-3, in August 1995.   It was sold as Allegheny Valley Ry 3002 in 2008.

8936, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1971, #37727, FN 5784-13, as SCL 2036. It later became SBD as 2036 and later renumbered 8936. It later became CSX 8936, Class SD-45. It was sold to VMV as 8936 and later sold to MRL as 8936. It was later assigned to I&MRL as 8936 and in 2002 it became Iowa Chicago & Eastern 8936.

8938, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1971, #37729, FN 5784-15, as SCL 2038. It then went to Clinchfield RR as 3625. It later became SBD 8938 in 1984 and then CSX 8938, Class SD-45, in April 1986. It was sold to VMV as 8938 and then to Morrison Knudsen Corp as 9523. It then was sold to Helm Leasing Co as 7004. They sold it to Wisconsin Central Ltd as 6636. It was sold to Larry's Truck Electric in September 2002 and scrapped.

8940, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1971, #37731, FN 5784-17, as SCL 2040.  It became CRR 3627 and then SBD 3627 in January 1983.  It was renumbered 8940 in 1984 and became CSX 8940, Class SD-45, in April 1986.  It was sold as VMV 8940 and sold as MRL 8940. It was transferred as I&M Rail-Link 8940 and returned as MRL 8940 on November 5, 1998.

8941, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1971, #37732, FN 5784-18, as SCL 2041.  It was transferred as Clinchfield 3628 and became SBD 3628 in January 1983,  It was renumbered 8941 in 1984 and became CSX 8941, Class SD45, in April 1986.  It was sold as VMV 8941 and sold as MRL 8941.  It was transferred as I&MRL 8941 and returned as MRL 8941 on November 5, 1998.

8942, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1971, #37733, FN 5784-19, as SCL 2042.  It was transferred as Clinchfield 3629 and became SBD 3629.  It was renumbered 8942 and became CSX 8942, Class SD45.  It was sold as VMV 8942 and rebuilt by MK on November 28, 2001, as SP 8596.  It was assigned UP 4618 and became UP 2672 on November 28, 2001.

8943, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1971, #37734, FN 5784-20. as SCL 2043.  It was transferred as CRR 3630 and became SBD 3630 in Janaury 1983.  It was renumbered 8943 in 1984 and became CSX 8943, Class SD45.  It was apparently not relettered later.  It was sold as VMV 8943 and sold as MKCX 9524.  It was rebuilt as HLCX 6519, SD40M-3.
