6647 was built in July 1968, #33882, FN 7093-2, as AW&P 727. It became SBD 727 in January 1983 and renumbered 6647 in 1984. It became later CSX 6647, Class GP-40, in April 1986. It was sold to Progress Rail.
6649 was built in February 1969, #34751, FN 7153-4, as AW&P 729. It became SBD 729 in January 1983 and renumbered 6649 in 1984. It became CSX 6649, Class GP-40, in April 1986. It was rebuilt by Boise as GP38-3 in January 26, 1998, as Union Pacific 2523 and renumbered as 1023 on October 14, 2003.
6650 was built in May 1970, #36171, FN 7250-4, as AW&P 730. It became SBD 730 in January 1983 and renumbered 6650 in 1984. It became CSX 6650, Class GP-40, in April 1986. It was sold as Helm Atlantic Leasing Co 404.

It then became CSX 6659, Class GP-40, in April 1986 and sold to Helm Atlanta Leasing Co as 405. It was rebuilt by National Railway Equipment by SD39M-2 as Ferrocarril del Pacifico SA D2302.

6672 was built in May 1966, #31767, FN 7885-1, as Seaboard Air Line RR 600. In July 1967 it became SCL 1515 and later SBD 1515 in January 1983. It was later renumbered 6672 in 1984 and then became CSX 6672, Class GP-40, in April 1986. It was sold to VMV Enterprises as 6672 and then was rebuilt as Union Pacific 859.

It was renumbered 6689 in 1984 and became CSX 6689, Class GP-40, in April 1986. It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen on April 16, 1991, as Southern Pacific 7113. It was assigned Union Pacific 5383 in 1997 and became UP 1483 in January 13, 2002.
6690 was built in June 1966, #31788, FN 7897-4, as SAL 619. It became SCL 1534 in July 1967 and became SBD 1534 in January 1983. It was renumbered 6690 in 1984 and became CSX 6690, Class GP-40, in April 1986. It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen to GP40M-2, as St Louis South-Western 7289 on January 18, 1991. It was assigned UP 5424, Class GP40M-2, in September 1997 and became UP 1524 on August 30, 2001.
6692 was built in July 1966, #31790, FN 7897-6, as SAL 621. In July 1967 it became SCL 1536 and later SBD 1536 in January 1983. It was renumbered 6692 in 1984 and then became CSX 6692, Class GP-40, in April 1986. It was sold as VMV 6692 and rebuilt as United States Army 4631. It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co as 4631 and sold as Fort Worth & Western 2020 "Wyatt Earp" in December 2011.
6697 was built in July 1966, #31795, FN 7897-11, as SAL 626. In July 1967 it became SCL 1541 and later SBD 1541 in January 1983. It was renumbered 6697 in 1984 and then became CSX 6697, Class GP-40, in April 1986. It was rebuilt at Boise on February 26, 1997, as Union Pacific 2506, GP38-3, and renumbered 1000 on June 3, 2003. It was returned as Helm Leasing Corp HLCX 1000 on November 26, 1947.

in April 1986. It was sold to and rebuilt by Morrison-Knudsen in 1994 as Maryland Mass Transit Administration 53.
6789 was built in September 1971, #5793-3, FN 5793-3, as SCL 1635. It became SBD 1635 in January 1983 and was later renumbered 6789 in 1984. It became CSX 6789, Class GP40, in April 1986. It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in August 1991 and was completed on August 23, 1991, as Virginia Railway Express V05. It was sold to Motive Power Industries as MPEX 105 in 2011 and sold as Bay Line RR 2320 in 2012.

6803 was built in October 1966, #32449, FN 5718-7, as L&N 3006, Class GP-40. It became SBD 3006 in January 1983. It was renumbered 6803 in 1984 and later became CSX 6803, Class GP-40, in April 1986. It was rebuilt by Atelier in 1992 as North Carolina Department of Transportation 1792 "City of Raleigh", GP40PH-2, and wrecked at Mebane, NC, in May 2010. It was parted out.
6804 was built in November 1966, #32450, FN 5718-8, as L&N 3007, Class GP-40. It became SBD 3007 in January 1983. It was renumbered 6804 in 1984 and later became CSX 6804, Class GP-40, in April 1986. It was rebuilt by Boise Locomotive in 1998 as Texas-Mexican Ry 1165 and returned to First Union Rail as FURX 1165.
6806 was built in August 1967, #33449, FN 7075-1, as L&N 3010, Class GP-40. It became SBD 3010 in January 1983. It was renumbered 6806 in 1984 and later became CSX 6806, Class GP-40, in April 1986. It was rebuilt by Boise Locomotive as Union Pacific 2512, Class GP38-3, on April 20, 1997, and renumbered 1012 on November 15, 2002. It was retired on November 26, 2007, and sold to Helm as HLCX 1012. It was sold as Wichita Tillman & Jackson 1012 in April 2012.
6807 was built in September 1967, #33450, FN 7075-2, as L&N 3011, Class GP-40. It became SBD 3011 in January 1983. It was renumbered 6807 in 1984 and later CSX 6807, Class GP-40, in April 1986. Apparently it was not relettered for a year or so. It was rebuilt as United States Army 4653 in January 2004.
6809 was built in September 1967, #33452, FN 7075-4, as L&N 3013, Class GP-40. It became SBD 3013 in January 1983. It was renumbered 6809 in 1984 and CSX 6809, Class GP-40, in April 1986. Apparently it was not relettered for a year or so. It was rebuilt by Boise Locomotive as UP 2508, Class GP38-3, on March 9, 1997, and renumbered 1008 on April 10, 2002. It was retired on November 26, 2007, and sold to Helm as HLCX 1008. It was sold as WT&J 1008 in April 2012.
6811 was built in September 1967, #33454, FN 7075-6, as L&N 3015, Class GP-40. It became SBD 3015 in January 1983. It was renumbered 6811 in 1984 and later became CSX 6811, Class GP-40, in April 1986. It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen GP40M-2 on February 25, 1991 as SP 7294 and was assigned as UP 5429. It became UP 1529 on August 4, 2001.

6817 was built in September 1967, #33460, FN 7075-12, as L&N 3021, Class GP-40. It became SBD 3012 in January 1983 and renumberd 6817. It later became CSX 6817, Class GP-40, in April 1986 and was rebuilt by AMF in March 1993 as Kansas City Southern 4752. It was renumbered 2818 in 2005.

It was rebuilt by Motive Power Industries as Union Pacific 2501, GP38-3, on February 11, 1997. It was renumbered 1001 on September 3, 2001, and retired on November 26, 2007. It was returned as Helm Leasing Co 1001 and leased as Kansas City Southern 1001. It was sold as Wichita Tillman & Jackson 1001 in April 2012.
6825 was built in September 1967, #33468, FN 7075-20, as L&N 3029, Class GP-40. It became SBD 3029 in January 1983 and renumbered 6825 in 1984. It became CSX 6825, Class GP-40, in April 1986. It was sold to Helm as HATX 520 in 1993 and sold to US Rail Partners as USRP 520 in 2011. It was rebuilt as USRP 402 in 2011 and sold to Helm as HLCX 4224 in 2014.
