Electro-Motive SD45 Diesels

901 was built in February 1967, #32624 FN 7945-1.  It was retired on October 10. 1989, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.  It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen on December 28, 1994 as Southern Pacific 8700.  It was assigned Union Pacific 4726 and became UP 2776 on August 3, 2001.

902 was built in February 1967, #32625, FN 7945-2. It was retired on October 10, 1989, and sold to VMV Enterprises.

903 was built in February 1967, #32626, FN 7945-3. Disposition is unknown.

904 was built in February 1967, #32627, FN 7945-4.  It was retired in 1994 and sold to National Railway Equipment Co in June 1994.   It was rebuilt by Morrison-Knudsen in October 1994 as Southern Pacific 8673. It was assigned Union Pacific 4699 in September 1997 but never done.

905 was built in February 1967, #32628, FN 7945-5.  It was retired on October 10, 1989, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1994.  It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen on May 27, 1994, as SP 8576.  It was retired and sold to Sterling Rail Corp in 2010.

906 was built in February 1967, #32629, FN 7945-6.  It was retired and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1994.  It was rebuilt by MK Rail on October 7, 1994, as SP 8663 and assigned UP 4689.  It became UP 2739 on November 7, 2003.

907 was built in February 1967, #32630, FN 7945-7. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989. 

909 was built in February 1967, #32632, FN 7945-9. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

911 was built in March 1967, #32634, FN 7945-11. It was retired on October 10, 1989, and sold to VMV Enterprises.

914 was built in March 1967, #32637, FN 7945-14. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989. . It was later sold to Morrison-Knudsen as 914 and then rebuilt by MK on May 13, 1994 as SP 8575. It was assigned UP 4601 in September 1997 and became UP 2651 on January 17, 2002.

920 was built in March 1967, #32643, FN 7945-20. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

937 was built in January 1969, #34570, FN 7148-1. It was retired on November 19, 1987, and in October 1989 it was sold to VMV Enterprises as 937. It was later rebuilt as Kansas City Southern 611 to SD40-3 standards in 1995 and renumbered 3138.  It was retired.

938 was built in January 1969, #34571, FN 7148-2. It was retired on November 19, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

939 was build in January 1969, #34572, FN 7148-3, It was retired on November 19, 1987, and sold to VMV in October 1989. It was rebuild as KCS 632.

940 was built in January 1959, #34573, FN 7148-4.  It was retired on November 19, 1987, and sold to VMV in October 1989.  It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as SP 8702, SD40M-2, on October 22, 1994, and assigned as UP 4728, Class SD40M-2, in December 1999.  It became UP 2778 on May 12, 2003, and retired on October 12, 2010.  It was sold to Citicorp and then to US Bank Equipment Finance.  It was sold to Missouri & Northern Arkansas 2778 in October 2012.

941 was built in January 1969, #34574, FN 7148-5. It was retired on November 19, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.  It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as SP 8701, SD40M-2, on October 13, 1994, and assigned as UP 4727, Class SD40M-2, in December 1999.  It became UP 2777 on August 15, 2001.

943 was built in January 1969, #34576, FN 7148-7. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and in October 1989 it was sold to VMV as 943. It was later rebuilt as KCS 613.

944 was built in January 1969, #34577, FN 7148-8. It was retired on November 26, 1990, and sold to National Ry Equipment Co in June 1994.  It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as SP 8667, SD40M-2, on October 18, 1994, and assigned as UP 4693, Class SD40M-2.  It became UP 2743 on September 19, 2003. and sold to Citicorp Railmark.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment NREX 2743 on June 30, 2014.

947 was built in January 1969, #34580, FN 7148-11. It was retired on May 21, 1985, and traded in to Electro-Motive in August 1986. It was scrapped at St. Louis Auto Shredding.

948 was built in January 1969, #34581, FN 7148-12. It was retired in 1994 and sold to National Ry Equipment Co in June 1994.

949 was built in January 1969, #34582, FN 7148-13. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

950 was built in January 1959, #34583, FN 7148-14. 

951 was built in January 1969, #34584, FN 7148-15. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV in October 1989. It was later sold to MK as 951 and then rebuilt by MK as SP 8582.  It was assigned UP 4618 and became UP 2658, Class SD40M-2, on September 25, 2003.  It was wrecked at Momence, IL, on November 24, 2005, and scrapped on sight on December 15, 2005.

952 was built in January 1969, #34585, FN 7148-16. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

954 was built in January 1969, #34587, FN 7148-18. It was scrapped at Oelwein.

955 was built in January 1969, #34588, FN 7148-19. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

958 was built in February 1969, #34591, FN 7148-22. It was retired on October 10, 1989, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.   It was later sold to MK as 958 and then rebuilt by MK as SP 8581, SD40-3 on July 28, 1994.  It was assigned UP 4607 and became UP 2657, Class SD40M-2, on August 21, 2004.

961 was built in February 1969, #34594. FN 7148-25. It was retired on May 21, 1985, and traded in to Electro-Motive in August 1986. It was scrapped by St Louis Auto Shredding.

962 was built in February 1969, #34595, FN 7148-26. It was retired on May 21, 1985, and traded in to Electro-Motive in August 1986. It was scrapped by St Louis Auto Shredding.

965 was built in February 1969, #34599, FN 7148-29. It was retired on October 10, 1989, and sold to VMV Enterprises.

966 was built in February 1969, #34600, FN 7148-30.  It was retired on November 19, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.  It was rebuilt at Boise on November 16, 1994, as SP 8705 and assigned as UP 4731 in December 1999.  It became UP 2781 on November 17, 2000.

970 was built in February 1969, #34603, FN 7148-33.  It was retired on November 19, 1987, and sold to VMV in October 1989.  It was rebuilt to SD40-3 standards as KCS 614 in 1995 and sold as Allegheny Valley RR 3004 in 2011.

971 was built in February 1969, #34604, FN 7148-34. It was retired on November 19, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

972 was built in February 1969, #34605, FN 7148-35. It was retired on April 5, 1989, and sold to VMV in October 1989. It was rebuilt to SD40-3 standards as KCS 630 in 1995 and renumbered 3143.  It was sold to América Latina Logística in 2008.

973 was built in February 1969, #34606, FN 7148-36. It was retired on October 10, 1989, and sold to VMV Enterprises.

974 was built in February 1969, #34607, FN 7148-37.  It was retired and sold to National Railway Equipment in June 1994.  It was rebuilt by MK Rail as SP 8672, SD40-3, on November 8, 1994, and assigned as UP 4698.   It became UP 2748, Class SD40M-2, on October 14, 2003.

976 was built in February 1969, #34609, FN 7148-39. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

977 was built in February 1969, #34610, FN 7148-40.  It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV in October 1989.  It was sold as MK 977 and rebuilt by MK Rail as SP 8703, SD40-3, on November 5, 1994.  It was assigned as UP 4729 and became UP 2779, Class SD40M-2, on April 3, 2003.

6476 was built in June 1970, #36365, FN 7261-5, as planned as Northern Pacific 3634.  It was built as Burlington Northern 6476, Class SD-45, and retired in June 1985.  It was leased as C&NW 6476 in December 1985 and retired on November 19, 1987.  It was sold to VMV in October 1989 and rebuilt as Kansas City Southern 617 to SD40-3 standards in August 1995.  It was renumbered 3150 and sold as Allegheny Valley RR 3001 in June 2008.

6477 was built in July 1970, #36366, FN 7261-6, as planned as NP 3635.  It was built as BN 6477, Class SD-45, and was returned to the leasor in June 1985.  It was sold to Chicago & North Western and became 6477 in December 1985 and retired on November 19, 1987.  It was sold to VMV in October 1989 and sold to Morrison-Knudsen as 9501.  It as sold to Wisconsin Central Ltd as 6632 and sold to Larry's and scrapped.

6482 was built in July 1970, #36361, FN 7261-1, as planned as NP 3640.  It was built as BN 6482, Class SD-45. It was retired in June 1985 and then leased to C&NW 6482 in September 1986. It was later retired and sold to Helm Leasing Co as 6505.

6491 was built in August 1970, #36380, FN 7261-20, as BN 6491, Class SD-45.  It was retired in June 1985 and sold as C&NW 6491 in October 1985.  It was retired on November 19, 1987, and sold to VMV in October 1989.  It was rebuilt by MK Rail on November 11, 1994, as SP 8622, a SD40M-2.  It was assigned 4648 and became UP 2698, on December 17, 2003.

6500 was built in December 1967, #33804, FN 7993-1, as Pennsylvania RR 6170, Class EF-36. It became Penn Central 6170, Class EF-36, in 1988 and Consolidated Railroad Corp 6170, Class SD-45, and was sold to C&NW in February 1983 and numbered 6500 on August 22, 1983, and retired on May 14, 1996.  It was rebuilt as Helm 6400, SD40-2.

6503 was built in December 1967, #33808, FN 7993-5, as PRR 6174, Class EF-36.  It became PC 6174, Class EF-36, in 1968 and Conrail 6174, Class SD-45.  It was sold to C&NW in February 1983 and numbered 6503 on January 4, 1984.  It was rebuilt as Helm 6506, SD40M-3.

6508 was built in December 1967, #33814, FN 7993-11, as PRR 6180, Class EF-36, SD45.  It became PC 6180, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Conrail 6180, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold to C&NW as 6508 in 1983 and resold to VMV in October 1989.  It was sold to Morrison Knudsen and rebuilt as Motive Power International 9024 in 1990.  It was transferred as MK 9024 and back as MPI 9024.  It was sold as Helm 9024 in May 1996.

(6509) was built in December 1967, #33815, FN 7993-12, as PRR 6181, Class EF-36. It became PC 6181, Class EF-36, in 1988 and Conrail 6181, Class SD-45, and was sold to C&NW as 6181 in February 1983. It was assigned 6509, but was retired on October 10, 1989, before renumbering. It was sold to VMV in October 1989 and rebuilt later as KCS 618.

6512 was built in December 1967, #33819, FN 7993-16. as PRR 6185, Class EF-36. It became PC 6185, Class EF-36, in 1968 and Conrail 6185, Class SD-45, in April 1976. It was sold to C&NW as 6512 on December 1983. It was retired on April 5, 1988,, and was sold to National Railway Equipment in February 1990.

6513 was built in December 1967, #33820, FN 7993-17, as PRR 6186, Class EF-36.  It became PC 6186, Class EF-36, in 1968 and Conrail 6186, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold to C&NW as 6513 on December 30, 1983, and retired on April 5, 1988.  It was sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989 and sold as Eastern Idaho RR 6513 in 1993.  It went to WATCo as WAMX 4503.

6515 was built in December 1967, #33822, FN 7993-19, as PRR 6188, Class EF-36.  It became PC 6188, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Conrail 6188, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold as C&NW 6515 on March 31, 1983.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co in June 1994 and rebuilt by MK Rail on September 30, 1994, as SP 8608.  It became UP 4634 on August 28, 1997, and renumbered as 2684 on March 26, 2001.

6516 was built in January 1968, #33823, FN 7993-20, as PRR 6189, Class EF-36.  It became PC 6189, Class EF-36, in 1968 and becaome Conrail 6189, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold to C&NW as 6516 on October 14, 1983, and retired on October 10, 1989.  It was sold to VMV and sold to Morrison Knudsen.  It was rebuilt as MPI 9032 in 1990.  It was transferred as MKCX 9032 and as Helm 9032 in May 1966.

6517 was built in January 1968, #33824, FN 7993-21, as PRR 6190, Class EF-36, SD45.  It became PC 6190, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Conrail 6190, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold to C&NW 6517 on February 24, 1983, and sold to VMV Enterprises on October 10, 1989.  It was resold to MK and rebuilt as MPI 9029 in 1990.  It was transferred as MKCX 9029 and as Helm 9029 in May 1996.

(6521) was built in January 1968, #33828, FN 7993-25, as PRR 6194, Class EF-36.  It became PC 6194, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Conrail 6194, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold to C&NW as 6521 in February 1983.  It apparently was not renumbered and sold to VMV Enterprises on October 1989.  It was resold to Morrison Knudsen and rebuilt as Motive Power Iinternational 9028 in 1990.  It was transferred as Morrison Knudsen Corp 9028 and back as MPI 9028 and as Helm 9028 in May 1996.

6523 was built in January 1968, #33831, FN 7993-29., as PRR 6197, Class EF-36.  It became PC 6197, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Conrail 6197, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold as C&NW 6523 on March 21, 1983.  It was sold as HLCX 6074.  It was rebuilt by MPI-Boise as 6501, SD40M-2.

6525 was built in January 1968, #33860, FN 7090-1, as PRR 6200, as Class EF-36.  It became PC 6200, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Conrail 6200, Class SD-45.  It was sold as C&NW 6525 on February 24, 1983, but never used.  It was retired on October 10, 1989 and sold to VMV in October 1989 and sold as Eastern Idaho RR 6525 in 1993.  It went to WATCo as WAMX 4504.  It was retired.

6532 was built in January 1968, #33863, FN 7090-5, as PRR 6208, Class EF-36.  It became PC 6208, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Conrail 6208, Class SD-45.  It was sold to C&NW as 6532 on March 29, 1983, and retired in 1994.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment in June 1994.  It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as SP 8616, SD40M-2, on December 15, 1994, and assigned as UP 4642.  It became UP 2692 on March 20, 2002.

6533 was built in January 1968, #33868, FN 7091-5, as PRR 6209, Class EF-36, SD45.  It became PC 6209, Class EF-36, in 1968 and Conrail 6209, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold to C&NW in February 1983 and numbered 6533 on October 21, 1983.  It was retired on October 10, 1989, and sold to VMV.  It was sold as MKC 9504.  It was reuilt as HLCX 6513, SD40M-3.

6535 was built in January 1968, #33836, FN 7993-33, as PRR 6212, Class EF-36,  It became PC 6212, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Conrail 6212, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was returned to the leasor and became C&NW 6535 in March 31, 1983,  It was retired in 1994 and sold to National Railway Equipment as June 1994.  It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as SP 8607, SD40M-2, on September 30, 1994, and became UP 2666, Class SD40M-2, on October 24, 2003.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co as NREX 2666.

6539 was built in January 1968, #33840, FN7993-37, as PRR 6216, Class EF-36.  It became PC 6216, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Conrail 6216, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold to C&NW in February 1983 and became 6539 on January 4, 1984.  It was sold to Helm and rebuilt as HLCX 6502, SD40M-2.

6542 was built in January 1968, #33843, FN 7993-40, as PRR 6219, Class EF-36. It became PC 6219, Class EF-36, in 1968 and then Conrail as 6218, Class SD-45. It was sold to C&NW as 6542 on March 21, 1983, and sold to National Railway Equipment in 1994. It was later sold as Montana Rail Link 368. It was transferred to I&M Rail Link and later returned to MRL.

6547 was built in January 1968, #33848, FN 7993-45, as PRR 6224, Class EF-36.  It became PC 6224, Class EF-36, in 1968 and then Conrail as 6224, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold as C&NW 6547 on November 7, 1983, and rebuilt with a Caterpillar as 6000 in February 1986.  It was sold to Helm Leasing and rebuilt as 6600, SD45-3.

6549 was built in January 1968, #33850, FN 7993-47, as PRR 6226, Class EF-36.  It became PC 6226, Class EF-36, in 1968, and became Conrail 6226, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold as C&NW 6549 on March 30, 1983.  It was sold  to National Railway Equipment Co in June 1994 and was rebuilt by MK Rail on November 18, 1994 as SP 8613.  It was assigned UP 4659 and assigned UP 2689.

6553 was built in January 1968, #33854, FN 7993-51, as PRR 6230, Class EF-36.  It became PC 6230, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Conrail 6230, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold as C&NW 6553 on October 19, 1983, and retired on October 10, 1989.  It was rebuilt by MK Rail as SP 8652 on September 21, 1994.  It was assigned UP 4678, Class SD40M-2, in September 1997 and became UP 2728 on May 16, 2005.  It was sold as Missouri & Northern Arkansas 2728 in 2011.

6554 was built in January 1968, #33855, FN 7993-52, as PRR 6231, Class EF-36.   It became PC 6231, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Conrail 6231, Class SD-45, in April 1976 and was later returned to the leasor. It became C&NW 6554 on October 13, 1983, and was traded in to Electro-Motive on August 27, 1986. It was scrapped at St. Louis Auto Shredding Co.

6556 was built in January 1968, #33857, FN 7993-54, as PRR 6233, Class EF-36.  It became PC 6233, Class EF-36, in 1968 and the Conrail 6233, Class SD-45.  It was sold to C&NW as 6556 on March 31, 1983, and retired in 1994.  It was sold to NRE in June 1994 and sold as MRL 375.  It was transferred to I&MRL as 375 and returned to MRL.  It was sold as Northern Illinois & Wisconsin Ry 375.

6562 was built in August 1968, #34277, FN 7125-1, as PC 6235, Class EF-36.  It became Conrail 6235, Class SD-45, in April 1976 and to C&NW where it became 6562 on January 18, 1984.   It was traded in to Electro-Motive on August 27, 1986, and scrapped at St. Louis Auto Shredding Co.

6564 was built in August 1968, #34279, FN 7125-3, as PC 6237, Class EF-36.  It became Conrail 6237, Class SD-45, in April 1976 and to C&NW where it became 6564 on January 30, 1984.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment as NREX 6564 in June 1994 and rebuilt as Tacoma Rail 3001, SD40R, in 2001.

6567 was built in July 1968, #33785, FN 7088-1. as Great Northern 418, Class SD-45.  It became Burlington Northern 6448, Class SD-45, in 1970 and retired in August 1983.  It was sold to C&NW in 1984 and became 6567.  It was retired on May 14, 1996.

6570 was built in July 1968, #33788, FN 7088-4, as GN 421, Class SD-45.  It became BN 6451, Class SD-45, in 1970 and retired in October 1983.  It was sold to C&NW and became 6570 on January 30, 1984.  It was retired November 19, 1987, and sold to VMV in October 1989.  It was resold to Morrison-Knudsen and rebuilt as MPI 9025 in 1990.  It was transferred as MK 9025 and back as Motive Power International 9025 and as Helm Leasing 9025 in May 1996.

6574 was built in July 1968, #33792, FN 7088-8, as GN 425, Class SD-45.  It became BN 6455, Class SD-45, in 1970 and retired in October 1983.  It was sold to C&NW and became 6574 on February 5, 1984.  It was retired November 19, 1987, and sold to VMV in October 1989.  It was rebuilt by MK Rail on January 11, 1995, as Southern Pacific 8618, a SD40M-2.  It was assigned Union Pacific 4644 and became UP 2694 on November 25, 2003.

6576 was built in January 1969, #34551, FN 7147-1, as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 516. It became Burlington Northern 6457, Class SD-45, in 1970 and was returned to the leasor in February 1984. They sold it to C&NW and it became 6576 on August 12, 1984. It was sold to National Ry Equipment Co as 6576 in June 1994 and was later rebuilt as SP 8612, SD40M-2, on September 8, 1994.  It then was assigned UP 4658 and became UP 2688 on January 21, 2004.

6579 was built in January 1969, #34554, FN 7147-4, as CB&Q 519. It became BN 6460, Class SD-45, in 1970 and was returned to the leasor in February 1984. It was sold to C&NW and became 6579 on February 28, 1984. It was retired on November 19, 1987, amd sold to VMV in October 1989. It was then sold to Morrison-Knudsen as 9508 and then to Helm Leasing as 7001. It was again sold to Wisconsin Central Ltd as 6630. It was finally sold to Larry's Truck Equipment Co.

6580 was built in January 1969, #34555, FN 7147-5, as CB&Q 520.  It became BN 6461, Class SD-45, in 1970 and retired in February 1984.  It was sold to C&NW in July 1984 and became 6580 on September 27, 1984.  It was retired on November 19, 1987 and sold to VMV in October 1989.  It was sold to MK and rebuilt as Motive Power International 9026.  It was transferred as MK 9026 and back as MPI 9026.  It was sold as Helm 9026 in May 1966.

6582 was built in January 1969, #34558, FN 7147-8, as CB&Q 522. In 1970 it became BN 6463, Class SD-45, and was returned to the leasor in February 1984. It was sold to C&NW and became 6582 on September 17, 1984. It was sold to NRE in June 1994 as 6582 and then was rebuilt by MK on October 12, 1994, as SP 8668, as SD40M-2.  It was assigned UP 4694 and became UP 2744 on June 12, 2003.  It was retired on October 12, 2010, and sold as National Railway Equipment Co  as NREX 2744 in April 2014.

6587 was built in July 1968, #33785, FN 7088-1, as Great Northern 418, Class SD-45.  It became BN 6448, Class SD-45, in 1970 and retired in August 1983.  It was sold as C&NW 6587 in January 1984 and was later retired.

(6610) was built in December 1967, #33816, FN 7993-13, as PRR 6182, Class EF-36, SD45.  It became PC 6182, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Conrail 6182, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold to C&NW planned as 6610 in February 1983.  It apparently was not renumbered and sold to VMV Enterprises on October 1989.  It was resold to MK and rebuilt as MPI 9027 in 1990.  It was transferred as MK 9027 and back as MPI 9027 and as Helm 9027 in May 1996.
