Don's Rail Photos

6000 was built in January 1968, #33848, as Pennsylvania RR 6224, Class EF-36.  It became Penn Central 6224, Class EF-36, in 1968 and then Consolidated Railroad Corp as 6224, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold as C&NW 6547 on November 7, 1983, and rebuilt with a Caterpillar as 6000 in February 1986.  It was sold to Helm Leasing and rebuilt as 6600, SD45-3.
