Electro-Motive SD35 Diesels

 

Central of Georgia 2992 was built in January 1966, #30797, FN 7837-2, as CG 216.  It was renumbered 2992 in 1971 and retired in March 1985.  It was sold for scrap to Naporano Iron & Metal in May 1987.

3024 was built in October 1965, #30830, FN 7833-25. It was retired in March 1986 and sold to Cycle Systems in March 1987. It was rebuilt and sold to Fox River Valley RR as 2500. It became Wisconsin Central Ltd as 2500 and was rebuilt in 2000 as SD39-3.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co as NREX 2500.

3040 was built in November 1965, #30846, FN 7833-41. 

3050 was built in November 1965, #30856, FN 7833-51. It was retired in March 1985 and sold to Naporano Iron & Metal Co in May 1987.

3075 was built in December 1965, #30881, FN 7838-15.  It was retired in March 1986 and sold to Naporano Iron & Metal Co in November 1987.

3096 was built in December 1965, #30902, #FN 7838-35.  It was retired in June 1986 and sold to Gibbs Railway Equipment in December 1987.  It was sold as VMV Enterprises 2600 and rebuilt by VMV in November 1992 as Burlington Northern 6264, Class SD38P.  It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 6264, Class SD38P, and renumbered 1804 in 2007.  It was renumbered 1554 in 2009.
