Electro-Motive GP35 Diesels

(2501) was built in February 1964, #28442, FN 7670-1, as Gulf Mobile & Ohio 601.  It was assigned as ICG 2500 but sold as VMV Enterprises 601.  It was rebuilt as  Burlington Northern 2972 in October 1990 and later became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 2972, Class GP-39E, in October 1999.  It became Class GP-39R and sold to WATCo as WAMX 3903.

2504 was built in March 1964, #28446, FN 7670-5, as GM&O 605.  It became ICG 2504 and sold as Paducah & Louisville 2504.  It was rebuilt at Paducah on January 10, 1991, as BN 2969, Class GP-30V, and became BNSF 2969, Class GP39V, in December 2001.  It became Class GP-39R and sold as WAMX 3900.

2511 was built in April 1964, #29300, FN 7670-12, as GM&O 612.  It later became ICG 2511 and rebuilt at Paducah as VMV 3516 in 1990.  It became PAL 3516 and sold as Peoria & Pekin Union RR 2001.  It became Tazewell & Peoria RR 2001 in 2004 and scrapped in August 2012.

2515 was built in August 1964, #29274, FN 7729-5, as GM&O 617.  It became ICG 2515 and became PAL 2517.  It was rebuilt ast Paducah in 1990 as BN 2980, Class GP-39V, and became BNSF 2980, Class GP39V, in August 2002.  It became Class GP39-R and sold as WAMX 3911.

2517 was built in August 1964, #29275. FN 7729-6, as GM&O 618. It later became ICG  2517 and still later became P&L 2517. It was rebuilt at Paducah as BN 2978, Class GP-39V, on December 1, 1990, and became BNSF 2978, Class GP39V, in May 2004.  It became Class GP-39R and sold as WAMX 3909.

2519 was built in August 1964, #29278, FN 7729-9, as GM&O 621.  It became ICG 2519 and sold as VMV 2519.  It was rebuilt by VMV as BN 2977, Class GP-39V, in November 1990 and became BNSF 2977, Class GP39V, in June 2001.  It became GP-39R and sold as WAMX 3908.

(2521) was built in September 1964, #29589, FN 7729-11, as GM&O 623.  It was assigned ICG 2521 but never renumbered or numbered.  It was sold to VMV but never used.

2522 was built in February 1964, #29510, FN 7729-12, as GM&O 624.  It became ICG 2522 and sold as VMV 2522.  It was rebuilt by VMV as BN 2976, Class GP-39V, on November 20, 1990, and became BNSF 2976, Class GP39V, on September 19, 2001.  It became Class GP-39R and sold as WAMX 3907. It was assigned as Kansas & Oklahoma.

2524 was built in January 1965, #29747, FN 7764-2, as GM&O 626.  It became ICG 2524 and became PAL 2524.  It was rebuilt by VMV as BN 2974, Class GP-39V, on October 31, 1990, and became BNSF 2974, Class GP39V, on April 22, 2002.  It became Class GP-39R and sold as WAMX 3905.

(2525) was built in January 1965, #29748, FN 7764-3, as GM&O 627.  It was assigned ICG 2525 but was sold as VMV 627.

2529 was built in January 1965, #29750, FN 7764-5, as GM&O 629.   It became ICG 2527 and sold to PAL.  It was rebuilt at Paducah on October 30, 1990, as BN 2973, Class GP-39V, and became BNSF 2973, Class GP39V, in July 2001.  It became Class GP-39R.  In March 2011 it was sold to Watco as WAMX 3904.

2534 was built in March 1965, #29757, FN 7764-12, as GM&O 636.  It became ICG 2534 and sold to PAL.  It was rebuilt at Paducah in October 1990 as BN 2971, Class GP-30V, and became BNSF 2971, Class GP39V, in August 2001.  It became Class GP-39R and sold as WAMX 3902.

(2535) was built in August 1965, #30264, FN 7794-1, as GM&O 637.  It was assigned ICG 2535 but was scrapped in 1987.

(2538) was built in August 1965, #30267, FN 7794-4, as GM&O 640.  It was assigned ICG 2538 but was sold to VMV.  It was rebuilt by Ferrocarril Paulista SA as FEPASA 2351, SD39-2M.

2550 was built in May 1965, #29877, FN 5674-1, as General Motors demonstrator 433A, GP40X. It was purchased by IC as 3075 in November 1970. It was wrecked in January 1974 and rebuilt at Paducah as 2550, GP35, on December 31, 1974.
