Georgia & Florida Ry.

500, GP40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1977, #776025-8, FN 776025-8 as Boston & Maine 307.  It was returned as Helm Atlantic Leasing Co HATX 500 and sold as GFRR 500 in 2012.

8311, GP9Bu, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1954, #19231, FN 5321-B26, as Union Pacific 155B. It was rebuilt in September 1977 as Illinois Central Gulf 8311 and sold as Atlantic & Gulf RR 8311 on May 28, 1990.  It became Georgia & Florida Railnet 8311 in 1999 and GFRR 8311 in 2004. It assigned as Yadkin Valley RR 8311 and sold as Carolina Coastal Ry 8311 in 2007.

9459, GP40-2WL, was built by General Motors in June 1974, #A3037, FN C365-60,  as Canadian National 9459, Class GF-430a.  It was retired on March 21, 2000, and sold to Helm Leasing Corp  as HLCX 9459.  It was sold as GFRR 9459 and became GFRR 9459 in 2004.  The lettering seem to have been not done.

9463, GP40-2WL, was built by General Motors in July 1974, #A3041, FN C365-64, as CN 9463, Class GF-430a.  It was retired on March 21, 2000, and sold as HLCX 9463.  It was sold as GFRR 9463 and became GFRR 9463 in 2004.  The lettering seem to have been not done.

9526, GP40-2LW, was built by General Motors in November 1974, #A3104, FN C372-36, as CN 9526, Class GF-430b,  It was retired on March 31, 2000, and sold as HLCX 9526.  It was sold as GFRR 9526.


Great Western Leasing Co.

2254, SW1200, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1964, #28899, FN 7696-4, as St Louis South-Western 1066, Class Z12  It was renumbered 2254, Class ES412C-3, in 1966 and later sold as GWLCo 2254.  It was sold as Salt Lake Garfield & Western DS.8 in September 1997 and returned as GWRX 2254 in June 2000.

3033, GP35, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1964, #29264, FN 7727-5, as Denver & Rio Grande Western 3033, Class DE B-B 62.  It was later reclassified EF425D-1.  It was retired in December 1993 and sold to OmniTrax in January 1995.  It operated as GWRX 3033 and rebuilt in October 1997 as Northern Plains Ry 3501 "City of Devil's Lake".  It was sold to J&L Consulting Co as JLCX 3501 and rebuilt to Lhoist NA as LNAX 3043, GP40-3, in March 2017.


Great Western Ry.

51 was built by Baldwin in July 1906, #28665. It was sold to Boulder Scientific Co in September 1963 and leased as Fillmore & Western as 51 in 1992.  It was returned to Colorado in 2003 and restored as GW 51.

60 was built by Alco-Schenectady in September 1937, #69201.  It was sold as Black River & Western 60 in August 1963.

75 was built by Baldwin in September 1907, #31778.  It was sold to Denver NRHS in June 1966 and resold to GW 75 Railroad Co in June 1966.  It was sold to Heber Valley RR as 75 in 1999.

90 was built by Baldwin in June 1924, #57812. It was sold as Strasburg RR 90 in 1967.

61, "Town of Johnstown", SW1, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1952, #16446. FN 6391-1.  It was sold in September 1985 as Sunflour RR 61.

62, SW1, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1940, #1233, FN E367-1, as Elgin Joliet & Eastern 231,  It was sold as Great Western Sugar Co 231 on July 2, 1959, and later sold as GWRy 62. It was sold as Cargill Co 62 "Ruth".

77, 70 Ton, was built by General Electric as City of Colorado Springs 9706.  It was sold as GWR 77.

113, SW7, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1949, #10938, FN 6034-7, as Northern Pacific 113.  It became Burlington Northern 113, Class SW-7, in 1970 and retired in October 1985.  It was sold as Great Western Ry 113 in October 1985 and resold to Rocky Mountain Railcar Repair as RMRR 113.  It was sold to Railway Engineering & Supply Co as Rescar 113 and sold to L&L Railway Equipment Co as LLRX 113.  It was leased as Sheffield Steel Co 6406 and returned as LLRX 113.  It was sold sold to LRS Companies.

118, SW7, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1950, #8496, FN E1196-4, as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 9252.  It became BN 118, Class SW-7, in 1970 and sold as GWR in October 1985.  It was sold as RMRR 118.

121 "Town of Windsor", SW8, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1951, #15553, FN 6313-1.

140, SW7, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1950, #9574, FN 4005-6, as Great Northern 168, Class SW-7.  It became BN 140, Class SW-7, in 1970 and retired in October 1985.  It was sold as GWR 140 in January 1986 and resold as Liberty Rail Services Inc 140 in 1988.

272, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1954, #19869, FN 5362-10, as Union Pacific 272. It was sold to GWRy as 272 in June 1985. GW sold it to Mid-America Car who sold it to Railtex in August 1986. It came to Dallas Garland & NorthEastern in April 1992 and is no longer on the property.

319, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1959, #25314, FN 7575-40, as  Chicago Milwaukee St Paul & Pacific 319, Class 17.5E-RS.  It was retired in December 1982 and sold as Iowa RR 319 in February 1983.  It was sold as GW 319 and resold as Santa Maria Valley RR 1801.

563, B40-8W, was built by General Electric in March 1992, #47909, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 563, Class 500.  It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 563, Class Dash8-40BW, in March 2003 and retired on October 12, 2010.  It was sold as Great Western Ry 563.

575, B40-8W, was built by General Electric in March 1992, #46921, as AT&SF 575. Class 500.  It became BNSF 575, Class Dash8-40BW, and retired on October 12, 2010.  It was sold as GWRS 575.

703, GP7, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1952, #17027, FN 5197-3, as Western Pacific 703, Class RS-62.  It was retired in April 1985 and sold to Mountain Diesel Transportation.  It was sold as GWR 703 and leased to Arizona Central RR as 703.  It returned to GWR.

705, GP7, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1952, #17029, FN 5197-5, as WP 705, Class RS-62.  It was retired in April 1985 and to Mountain Diesel Transportation.  It was sold as GWR 705 and leased to AZCR as 705.  It was returned to GWR and sold to Feather River Rail Society in 2005.

711 "Peggy", GP7. Was built by Electro-Motive in September 1952, #16983, FN 5152-9, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 2756, Class 2650. It was rebuilt at Cleburne in August 1973 as 2056, Class 2050. It was sold to GWRy as 2056 in May 1989 and later renumbered as 711.

714 "Kira", GP7, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1950, #13162, FN 5054-4, as AT&SF 2658, Class 2650.  It was rebuilt at Cleburne in October 1973 as 2001, Class 2000.  It was sold as GW 714 in March 1989 and later became Council Bluffs Ry 714.

715, GP7, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1953, #18983, FN 5312-15, as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 267. It became BN 1623, Class GP-7, in 1970 and was sold to I Bork & Sons in December 1983. It was sold to East Camden & Highland RR as 65 in March 1985 and later sold to GWRy as 715 in January 1991.

986, NW5, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1946, #3479, FN E687-1, as Great Northern 186, Class RS-2. It became BN 986, Class NW-5, in 1970 and sold to Colorado & Eastern RR as 986 in December 1981, It later was sold to Denver Ry as 986 and later to GWRy 986.

1617, GP7, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1953, #18977, FN 5312-9, as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 261. It became Burlington Northern 1617, Class GP-7, in 1970.  It was retired in August 1983 and sold as GWR 1617 in September 1983.  It was sold as Lake County RR 1617 in 1996 and sold to Western Rail as WRIX 1617.  It was sold to Northern Illinois &Wisconsin Ry as NIWX 1617 in 2010.

1845, Class AS410-6, was by Alco built in April 1955, #81318, as Southern Pacific 1567, Class DS-119.  It was renumbered 1845, Class AS410-6, in 1966 and sold as GWR 1845.  It was scrapped in November 2007.

2069, GP7u, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1952, #17643, FN 5219-20, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 2832, Class 2650.  It was rebuilt in May 1974 at Cleburne as 2069, Class 2050.  It was sold to Helm Leasing in July 1989 and sold as Massachusetts Central RR 2069 in September 1989.  It was sold as GWR 2069 and transferred as Panhandle Northern RR 2069 in 1993.

3038, GP35, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1964, #29371, FN 7735-2, as Denver Rio Grande & Western 3038, Class DE B-B 62.  it was retired in December 1993 and sold to OmniTrax in January 1995.  It was used as GWR 3038.  It was rebuilt in August 2000 as Fort Worth & Western 2000 "Miss Molly", GP38-3.

3041, GP35, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1964, #29966, FN 7776-3, as D&RGW 3041, Class DE B-B 62.  It was reclassified Class EF425D-2 and sold as GWRy 3041 in January 1995.  It was planned to sell as Indiana Hi-Rail Corp 3041 in May 1996 but it was not delivered.  It was transferred as Hudson Bay Ry 2501 in May 1997.

3042, GP35, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1965, #29967, FN 7776-4, as D&RGW 3042, Class DE B-B 62. It was later reclassified EF425D-2 and retired in December 1993 and sold to OmniTrax in January 1995.  It was leased as GWR 3042 and assigned as CKRy 3042.  It was transferred as OMLX 3042 in August 2002 and rebuilt to GP38-3 as Panhandle Northern RR 2254 in February 2004

4288, GP7u, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1952, #16879, FN 5206-2, as Chicago & North Western 1566.  It was rebuilt at Oelwein on October 1, 1980, as 4288.  It was sold as GWRy 4288 in October 1983 and later sold to Panhandle Northern RR as 4288.  It was later sold to Omnitrax Switching Service as 4288.

4438, GP7u, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1953, #18466, FN 5813-25, as New York Central 5762, Class DRSP-4n. It was rebuilt as Class DRS-4n and later reclassified as Class ERS-15 in 1966. It became Penn Central 5762, Class ERS-15, in 1968 and then Consolidated Railroad Corp 5762, Class GP-7, in April 1976. It was sold to Precision National Corp in October 1979 and then to Chicago & North Western as 4438 on June 6, 1980. It was then sold to GWRy as 4438 in May 1994.

5625, GP20, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1960, #26107, as General Motors Corp 5625.  It was sold as Southern Pacific 7234, Class DF-620, and renumbered 4084, Class EF420-2.  It was rebuilt as 4117, Class EF420-R02, in August 1977 and retired in March 1993.  It was sold as GWRy 5625 in 1995.
