Northern Plains RR
901, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1954, #20024, FN 5370-5, as Minneapolis St Paul & Sault Ste Marie 401. It became Soo Line 401 in 1961 and sold as NPR 901 in 1999.
1905, GP7u, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1952, #17613, FN 5155-20, as Chicago Rock Island & Pacific 1282. It was rebuilt at Silvis on November 9, 1976, as 4545 and it went to Precision National in April 1980. It was sold to Chicago & North Western in February 1981 and entered service as 4199 on May 4, 1981. It was sold as D&IRR 26, and sold as NPR 1905 in August 2011.
2280, GP20, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1960, #26287, FN 7594-2, as Great Northern 2019, Class GP-20. It became Burlington Northern 2019, Class GP20, in 1970, and retired in October 1981. It was sold to D&IRR as 3 in November 1981. It was sold as NPR 2280 in April 2012.
2285, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1957, #22846, FN 5512-11, as Central Vermont 4557, Class GR-17j. It was transferred later to Grand Trunk Western as 4557, Class GR-17j, and retired in 1991. It was sold as Kansas Southwestern Ry 4557 and sold as NPR 2285.
2286, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1957, #22860, FN 5514-7, as GTW 4912, Class GRG-17k. It was rebuilt in 1971 without train heat and reclassified GR-17k. It was retired in 1991 and sold as KSW 4912. It was sold as NPR 2286.
2287, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1954, #19674, FN 5343-19, as GTW 1760, Class GR-17b. It was renumbered 4436 in 1956 and later became KSW 4436 in 1991. It was sold as NPR 2287 and sold as Farmers Elevator Co of Alvarado 1920.
2288, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1957, #22852, FN 5513-6, as GTW 4544, Class GR-17j. It was retired in 1991 and sold as KSW 4544 in April 1991. It was sold as NPR 2288 and sold as Renville Elevator Co 1990.
3005, GP38-3, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1965, #30023, FN 7782-2, as Denver Rio Grande & Western 3050, Class DE B-B 62, a GP35. It was retired in December 1993 and sold to OmniTrax in January 1995. It was assigned as KSW 3050 in 1996 and rebuilt as GP38-3 as Longhorn RR 2006 in April 1997 and assigned as NPR 3005 in 1998. It was leased as Fort Worth & Western 2001 "Niles City" in 2000.
3501, "City of Devil's Lake", GP35, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1964, #29264, FN 7727-5, as Denver & Rio Grande Western 3033, Class DE B-B 62. It was later reclassified EF425D-1. It was retired in December 1993 and sold to OmniTrax in January 1995. It operated as Great Western Leasing GWRX 3033 and rebuilt in October 1997 as NPR 3501. It was sold to J&L Consulting Co as JLCX 3501 and rebuilt to Lhoist NA as LNAX 3043, GP40-3, in March 2017.
3504, GP35, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1964, #29558, FN 5669-8, as Southern Pacific 7472, Class DF-623. It was renumbered 6584, Class EF425-2, in 1966 and sold as Wisconsin & Southern 6584. It was renumbered 3501 and sold as NPR 3504. It was sold as JLCX 3504 and sold to Webb Asset Management as WAMX 3883.
3508, GP35, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1965, #29725, FN 7756-24, as SP 7723, Class DF-625. It was renumbered 6620, Class EF425-3, in 1965. It was sold to W&S on September 1962 as 6620. It was assigned as 3507 but it was sold to NPR as 3508. It was scrapped in July 2011.
3509, GP35, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1965, #30134, FN 7788-6, as Soo Line RR 731. It became Wisconsin Central Ltd 731 in 1987 and was later renumbered 2555. It was sold as Wisconsin Great Northern RR 2555 and resold as NPR as 3509.
3510, GP35, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1963, #28625, FN 5657-11, as Norfolk & Western 210. It was retired in April 1991 and sold to Transdynamic Inc in January 1992. It was sold as Great Smoky Mountain RR 210 in 1992 and sold as NPR 3510 in 2005. It was sold to J&L Consulting Ltd as JLCX 3510 and rebuilt as Coos Bay Real Link 1916, GP38-2 in 2019.
3511, GP35. was built by Electro-Motive in March 1964, #29223, FN 5665-9,
as N&W 223. It was
retired in March 1991 and sold as GSMRR 223 in August 1991. It was sold as
NPRR 3511 in 2005 and sold to
5558, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in January 1975, #A3145, FN C374-33, as Canadian Pacific 5701, Class DRF-30m. It was sold as NPR 5558 in 2008.
