1279, SW1, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1953, #18112, FN 4228-6, as Chicago & North Western 1279 . It was retired on June 1, 1978, and sold to Wilson-Cramer. It was sold to Peavey Grain Co in Duluth, MN, as 1279. It was sold as Cargill Inc CAGX 1279 and became Berthold Farmers Elevator BFEX 1279.
BTR Farmers Coop Association
8414, SW1, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1940, #1112, FN E324-15, as Baltimore & Ohio 214, Class DS-2. It was reclassified Class DS-3E in 1943 and renumbered 8414, Class SE-1, in 1957. It was reclassified Class SW-1 in 1965 and retired in 1985. It was sold to Wilson Railway Corp on June 25, 1985, and resold as BTR 8414 in September 1986.

291, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1959, #25286, FN 7575-12, as Chicago Milwaukee St Paul & Pacific 291, Class 17.5E-RS. It was sold as Minnesota Valley RR 291 in August 1984, and sold as DMVR 291. It was sold to Pioneer Rail as Minnesota Central RR 907 and transferred as PREX 907. It was transferred as Michigan Southern RR 907.
324, GP35, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1964, #28972, FN 7709-12 as Chicago & North Western. It was retired on August 16, 1990, and sold to Dakota Missouri Valley & Western RR as 324 on August 27, 1990. It was sold to Western Rail Inc as WRIX 324 in 2011 and sold to Webb Asset Management as WAMX 3534 in 2015.
856, GP35, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1965, #29772, FN 7763-13, as C&NW 856. It was retired on August 16, 1990, and sold as DMVW 856 on August 27, 1990. It was sold as Full Circle AG 856

It was rebuilt in September 1978 as 3070, Class 3000, and became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 2049, Class GP20, in July 1988. It was retired on November 20, 1999, and sold as DMV&W 2049 in July 2004. It was sold to J&L Consulting Co as JLCX 2049.
3043, GP20u, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1961, #26849, FN 7609-19, as AT&SF 1143, Class 1100, and became 3143, Class 1100, in 1970. It was rebuilt in March 1978 to 3043 and was retired and sold as Western Rail. It them became DMV&W 3043. It was retired.
3131, SD40-3, was built by General Motors in May 1969, #A2354, FN C330-8, as Canadian National 5095, Class GF-30e, SD40. It was retired on March 31, 1998, and sold to Alsthom on April 29, 1998. It was planned to be sold to New Brunswick East Coast Ry, but it was rebuilt as Kansas City Southern 6602, SD40-3, in November 1998. It was renumbered 3131 and sold as DMV&W 3131 in October 2011.
3132, SD40-3, was built by General Motors in May 1969, #A2353, FN C330-7, as CNR 5094, Class GF-30e, SD40. It was retired on July 31, 1998, and rebuilt by Alsthom as KCS 6610 in December 1998. It was renumbered 3132 and sold as DMV&W 3132 in October 2011.
3134, SD40-3, was built by General Motors in May 1969, #A2356, FN C330-10, as CNR 5097, Class GF-30e, SD40. It was retired on August 6, 1998, and rebuilt by Alsthom in December 1998 as KCS 6616. It was renumbered 3134 in 2008 and sold as DMVW 3134 in October 2011.
3139, SD40-3, was built by General Motors in May 1969, #A2348, FN C330-2, as CNR 5089, Class GF-30e, SD40. It was retired on May 27, 1998, and rebuilt by Alsthom in November 1998 as KCS 6603. It was renumbered 3129 and renumbered 3139. It was sold as DMVW 3139 in October 2011.
3145, SD40-3, was built by General Motors in February 1971, #A2423, FN C333-38, as CNR 5164, Class GF-30h, SD40. It was retired on July 31, 1998, and rebuilt Alsthom as KCS 6611 in December 1998. It was renumbered 3145 and sold as DMVW 3145 in October 2011.
3149, SD40-3, was built by General Motors in May 1970, #A2414, FN C333-29, as CNR 5155, Class GF-30h. SD40. It was retired on August 12, 1998, and rebuilt by Alsthom in December 1998 as KCS 6614. It was renumbered 3149 and sold as DMVW 3149 in October 2011.
5500, SD60F, was built by General Motors in August 1985, #A4468, FN C448-a, as Canadian National 9900, Class GF-638a. It was renumber 5500 in 1989 and retired in March 2017. It was sold as DMVW 5500 in October 2017.
6905, SD40, was built by General Motors in January 1968, #A2262, FN C324-3, as Canadian National 5010, Class GF-30d. It was retired on April 24, 1998, and sold to GEC Alsthom on May 18, 1998. It was rebuilt as New Brunswick East Coast Ry 6905 in 1999 and resold as DMVW 6905 in 2009.
7505, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1971, #37113, FN 5773-8, as Burlington Northern 6505, Class SD-45. It was retired on February 28, 1986, and returned to the leasor on December 30, 1986, It was sold to National Ry Equipment Co in September 1987 amd resold it to Wisconsin Central Ltd as 6505 in December 1987. It was later rebuilt as 7505 and retired on May 2, 2006. It was sold to Houston Locomotive Group in 2006 and sold as Dakota Missouri Valley & Western 7505 in October 2006.
Dakota Northern RR
ILS 1391, GP9m, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1956, #22093, FN 5473-4, as Chesapeake & Ohio 6092, Class MRSE-17. It became Class GP-9 in 1964 and rebuilt at Paducah as Illinois Central 7993 in 1973. It was sold as Paducah & Louisville 8315. It was sold as Independent Locomotive Service 1391. It was leased to DNRR.

856, GP35, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1965, #29772, FN 7763-13, as Chicago & North Western 856. It was retired on August 16, 1990, and sold as Dakota Missouri Valley & Western RR 856 on August 27, 1990. It was sold as Full Circle 856.

LM1, SW1, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1941, #1282, FN E375-3, as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 9150. It became Burlington Northern 94, Class SW-1, in 1970 and sold as LM1. It was sold to Denver Ry as 998.
LM3, SW1200, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1956, #21022, FN 4828-2, as Norfolk & Portsmouth Belt Line 102. It was sold as LM3 in 1988 and the company was taken over to Cargill Inc as CRGX 3 in 1991.
McLean Elevator Co.
1, SW1, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1950, #11378, FN 6089-1, as St Joseph Terminal Ry 1. It was sold to Wilson Railway Corp in 1985 and sold as South Dakota Wheat Growers 1 in October 1985. It was resold as MECo 1.
North Central Grain Co-op
2106, SW1, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1950, #13706, FN 6213-2, as New York Chicago & St Louis 106, Class ES-6a. It became Norfolk & Western 2106 in 1965 and retired on April 22, 1985. It was traded in to General Electric and sold to Independent Locomotive Service in 1987 and sold as NCGP 2106 in March 1988.

Red River Valley & Western RR
300, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1951, #13713, FN 3078-A7, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 245L, Class 200, an F7A. It was retired on April 11, 1977, and was rebuilt at Cleburne as 2422, Class 2417, in January 1978. It was sold to General Electric in December 1984 and later to National Railway Equipment. It became RRV&W as 300 in July 1987. It later was sold to South Dakota Wheat Growers Assn as 300.
302, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1951, #13723, FN 3078-A17, as AT&SF 250L, Class 200, an F7A. It was rebuilt at Cleburne as 2481, Class 2417, in January 1976 and traded to General Electric in December 1984. It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co and sold as RRV&W 302 in July 1987.
303, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1951, #13795, FN 3084-A9, as AT&SF 256L, Class 200, an F7A. It was rebuilt at Cleburne as 2499, Class 2417, in October 1974, and sold as RRV&W 303 in 1987. It was wrecked and retired.
305, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1949, #8289, FN E1152-A9, as AT&SF 216L, Class 200, an F7A. It was retired on January 18, 1974, and was rebuilt at Cleburne as 2524, Class 2417, in April 1974. It was sold to General Electric in General 1984 and then to National Railway Equipment Co. It was then sold to RRV&W as 305 in July 1987. It later was sold as Texas Rock Crusher RR 305 in 1998.
307, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1951, #13717, FN 3078-A11, as AT&SF 247L, Class 200, an F7A. It was rebuilt at Cleburne in March 1977 as 2467, Class 2417, and traded in to General Electric in December 1984 and sold to National Railway Equipment in January 1985, It was sold as RRVW as 307 in August 1987 and sold as TXR 103 in 1998.
308, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1953, #17953, FN 6501-A5, as AT&SF 341L, Class 325, an F7A. It was rebuilt at Cleburne as 2468, Class 2417, on March 8, 1977. It was traded in to General Electric on December 1984 and was sold to National Railway Equipment in January 1985. It later became RRV&W as 308 in August 1987.
309, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1948, #6619, FN E1014-A7, as AT&SF 33L, Class 16, as F3A. It was rebuilt at Cleburne on July 11, 1972, as 2614, Class 2417. It was retired on June 26, 1987, and sold to National Railway Equipment in July 1987. It was sold as RRV&W 309 in August 1987.
2001, GP20u, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1961, #26576, FN 7597-6. as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 905. It became Burlington Northern 2041, Class GP-20, in 1970 and rebuilt by Generation II Locomotive in October 1989 as BN 2001, Class GP20C. It was returned as GLLX 2001 in April 1993 and leased as Twin Cities & Western 2001. It was transferred as RRV&W 2001.
2005, GP20u, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1960, #26293, FN 7594-8, as Great Northern 2035, Class GP-20. It became BN 2035, Class GP-20, in 1970 rebuilt by GIIL in March 1990 as BN 2005, Class GP20C. It was returned as GLLX 2005 in April 1993 and leased as TC&W 2005. It was transferred as RRV&W 2005 "Charles N Clay".
2194, GP38-2, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1972, #7354-94, FN 7354-94, as Penn Central 8033, Class EF-20. It became Consolidated Rairoad Corp 8033, Class GP3802, in April 1976. It went to General Motors as 833 in April 1987. It went to Union Pacific as 1965, Class GP38-2, on October 19, 1997, and was assigned 465 but retired on May 20, 2003. It became Locomotive Leasing Partners LLPX 2342 and later became General American Transportation Co as GMTX 2194, It was sold as RRV&W 2194 in October 2014.
Renville Elevator Co.
1990, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1957, #22852, FN 5513-6, as Grand Trunk Western 4544, Class GR-17j. It was retired in 1991 and sold as Kansas Southwestern Ry 4544 in April 1991. It was sold as Northern Plains Ry 2288 and sold as RECo 1990.
Tharold Ethanol LLC
9251, NW2, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1947, #5039, FN E862-6, as Detroit Terminal RR 109. It was rebuilt in February 1981 and became Consolidated Railroad Corp 9199, Class NW-2, in October 1981. It was sold as Juniata Terminal 9251 and later sold as Northern Illinois & Wisconsin 9251. It was leased at York, PA, and sold to Tharold Ethanol LLC
