Electro-Motive NW2 Diesels

9156, Class NW2u, was built in June 1948, #3171, FN E824-8, as New York Ontario & Western 118.  It was sold as New York Central 9503, Class DES-13L and renumbered 8686, Class ES-10, in 1966.  It became Penn Central 8686, Class ES-10, in 1968 and rebuilt as 9156, Class ES-10m.  It became Conrail 9156, Class NW2u, in April 1976 and sold as Central Soya Co 9156 in 1991.

9164, Class NW2u, was built in September 1949, #7205, as Indiana Harbor Belt 8794. Class DES-13g.   It was transferred as NYC 8794, Class DES-13g, and reclassified Class ES-10 in 1966.  It became PC 8794, Class ES-10, in 1968 and rebuilt as 9164, Class ES-10m.  It became Conrail 9164, Class NW2u.  It was sold as Central Soya Co 9189.

9165, Class NW2u, was built in July 1946, #3606, as NYC 8700, Class DES-13a.  It was reclassified Class ES-10 in 1966 and became PC 8700, Class ES-10, in 1968.  It was rebuilt in 1969 as 9165, Class ES-10m, and became-Conrail 9165, Class NW2M, in April 1976.  It was sold as Ashland Ry 9165 in January 1986 and renumbered 65 on February 18, 1986.  It is a parts supply now.

9166, Class NW2u, was built in November 1949, #7178, FN E1042-2, as IHB  8804, Class DES-13j.  It became NYC 8804, Class ES-10, in 1966 and became PC 8804, Class ES-10, in 1968.  It was rebuilt in 1969 as 9166, Class ES-10m, and became Conrail 9166, Class NW2M, in April 1976.  It was sold as ASRy 9166 in January 1986 and renumbered 66 on February 18, 1986.

9169, Class NW2u, was built in February 1948, #5360, FN E897-1, as Pennsylvania RR 9155, Class ES-10.  It was renumbered 8655, Class ES-10, in 1966 and became PC 8655, Class ES-10, in 1968.  It was rebuilt in 1969 as 9169, Class ES-10m, and became Conrail 9169, Class NW2u, in April 1976.  It was traded in to Electro-Motive.

9190, Class NW2u, was built in November 1949, #7183, FN E1042-7, as IHB 8809, Class DES-13j.  It became NYC 8809, Class ES-10m, in 1966 and became PC 8809, Class ES-10, in 1968.  It was rebuilt as 9107, Class ES-10m, and became Conrail 9190, Class NW2M, in April 1976.  It was sold as Atlas-Lederer Co 9190 in 1985 and sold as George R Silcott Co 9190 in 1989.

9195, Class NW-2, was built in June 1947, #5034, as Detroit Terminal RR 104. It became Conrail 9195, Class NW-2, in October 1981.

9197, Class NW-2, was built in June 1947, #5036, as DT 106. It became Conrail 9197, Class NW-2, in October 1981.

9198, Class NW-2, was built in July 1947, #5037, as DT 107.  It became Conrail 9198, Class NW-2, in October 1981 and traded in to Electro-Motive.

9199, Class NW-2, was built in August 1947, #5039, as DT 109.  It was rebuilt in February 1981 and became Conrail 9199, Class NW-2, in October 1981.  It was sold as Juniata Terminal 9251 and later sold as Northern Illinois & Wisconsin 9251.  It was leased at York, PA, and sold to Tharold Ethanol LLC

9208, Class NW-2, was built in December 1948, #6206, as NYC 8761, Class DES-13g. It was reclassified ES-10 in 1966 and became PC 8761, Class ES-10, in 1968. In April 1976 it became Conrail 9208, Class NW2. It was later sold for scrap to Midwest.

9212, Class NW-2, was built in January 1948, #5130, as Erie RR 405, Class SE-10b. It became Erie Lackawanna 405, Class SE-10, in 1960, and Conrail 9212, Class NW-2, in April 1976. On June 1, 1986, it was sold to Sequatchie Valley RR as 1685.

9213, Class NW-2, was built in January 1948, #5131, FN 868-3, as Erie 406, Class SE-10b. It became EL 406, Class SE-10, in 1960, and Conrail 9213, Class NW-2 in April 1976.

9215, Class NW-2, was built in January 1948, #5133, FN 868-5, as Erie 408, Class SE-10b. It became EL 408, Class SE-10, in 1960 and Conrail 9215, Class NW-2, in April 1976.

9218, Class NW-2, was built in January 1948, #5136, FN 868-8, as Erie 411, Class SE-10b. It became EL 411, Class SE-10, in 1960 and Conrail 9218, Class NW-2, in April 1976. It was scrapped at Hollidaysburg, PA.

9219, Class NW-2, was built in January 1948, #5137, FN E868-9, as Erie 412, Class SE-10b.  It became EL 412, Class SE-10, in 1960 and Conrail 9219, Class NW-2, in April 1976.

9220, Class NW-2, was built in January 1948, #5138, FN E868-10, as Erie 413, Class SE-10b. It became EL 413 in 1960 and then to Conrail as 9220, Class NW-2. It was sold tp Blue Mountain & Reading as 413 and later renumbered 1000.  It was sold to RMDI in 2004 and apparently scrapped.

9222, Class NW-2, was built in November 1948, #6146, FN E976-2, as Erie 415, Class SE-10b.  It became EL 415, Class SE-10, in 1960 and Conrail 9222, Class SW2, in April 1976.  It was traded in to Electro-Motive.

9223, Class NW-2, was built in November 1948, #6147, FN E976-3, as Erie 416, Class SE-10b. It became EL 416, Class SE-10, in 1960 and Conrail 9223, Class NW2, in April 1976. It was later sold to Precision National Corp.

9226, Class NW-2, was built in October 1949, #7462, FN E1062-3, as Erie 419, Class SE-10b. It became EL 419, Class SE-10, in 1960 and Conrail 9226, Class NW2, in April 1976.

9229, Class NW-2, was built in November 1949, #8911, FN E1233-1, as Erie 422, Class SE-10b. It became EL 422, Class SE-10, in 1960 and Conrail 9229, Class NW2, in April 1976.

9231, Class NW-2, was built in November 1949, #8913, FN E1233-3, as Erie 424, Class SE-10b. It became EL 424, Class SE-10, in 1960 and Conrail 9231, Class NW2, in April 1976.

9234, Class NW-2, was built in November 1949, #8916, FN E1233-6, as Erie 427, Class SE-10b.  It became EL 427, Class SE-10, in 19960 and Conrail 9234, Class NW2, in April 1976.

9256, Class NW-2, was built in October 1948, #5802, FN E897-11, as Pennsylvania RR 9165, Class ES-10.  It was renumbered 8665, Class ES-10, in 1966.  It became Penn Central  8665, Class ES-10, in 1968 and became Conrail 9256, Class NW-2, in April 1976.  It was sold as Naporano Iron & Metal Co 9256 and sold as New England Milling Co 1000.

9257, Class NW-2, was built in October 1948, #5803, FN E897-12, as PRR 9166, Class ES-10.  It was renumbered 8666, Class ES-10, in 1966 and became PC8666, Class ES-10, in 1968.  It became Conrail 9257, Class NW-2, in April 1976.

9259, Class NW-2, was built in October 1948, #5807, FN E897-16, as PRR 9170, Class ES-10.  It was renumbered 8670, Class ES-10, in 1966 and became PC 8670, Class ES-10, in 1968.  It became Conrail 9259, Class NW-2, in April 1976 and sold to Naporano Iron & Metal Co in 1982.  It was sold as Brandywine Valley Ry 8203 in April 1982 and sold as Canton RR 8203 in April 1994.

9264, Class NW-2, was built in June 1948, #3169, FN E824-6, as New York Ontario & Western 116.  It was sold as NYC 9501, Class DES-13L, and renumbered 8684, Class ES-10, in 1966.  It became PC 8684, Class ES-10, and became Conrail 9264, Class NW-2, in April 1976.  It was sold to New York Susquehanna & Western and restored as NYO&W 116 in 1987.

9265, Class NW-2, was built in June 1948, #3170, FN E824-5, as NYO&W 117.  It was sold as NYC 9502, Class DES-13L, and renumbered 8685, Class ES-10, in 1966.  It became PC 8685, Class ES-10, in 1968 and became Conrail 9265, Class NW-2, in April 1976.  It was retired.

9276, Class NW-2, was built in December 1948, #6207, as NYC 8762, Class DES-13g.  It was reclassified ES-10 in 1966 and became PC 8762, Class ES-10 in 1968.  In April 1976 it became Conrail 9276, Class NW-2.

9299, Class NW-2, was built in May 1949, #6994, as DT 114.  It became Conrail 9299, Class NW-2, in October 1981 and later traded in to Electro-Motive.
