Electro-Motive F3 Diesels
16A, F3B, Class 16, was built in October 1946, #2741, FN E639-B1. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in November 1969.
16C, F3A, Class 16, was built in October 1946, #2730, FN E630-A2. It was retired on March 30, 1972, and rebuilt at Cleburne as 2616, Class 2417, in June 1972. It was retired in June 1987 and sold to National Railway Equipment Co in July 1987. It was sold as MidSouth Rail 7004 in July 1987 and renumbered 7011.
17B, F3B, Class 16, was built in October 1946, #2744, FN E630-B4. It was rebuilt in March 1972 as 104, Class 101. It was renumbered 1104, Class 1101, in 1989 and later became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 3953, Class Slug, on March 7, 2000.
17C, F3A, Class 16, was built in October 1946, #2732, FN E630-A4. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in May 1970.
18L, F3A, Class 16, was built in October 1946, #2733, FN E630-A5. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in May 1970.
19L, F3A, Class 16, was built in November 1946, #2735, FN E630-A7. It was rebuilt at Cleburne in January 1973 as 2622, Class 2417, and was retired in December 1987. It was sold to Louisiana & Delta RR as 1501 "City of Iberia".
19C, , F3A, Class 16, was built in November 1946, #2736, FN E630-A8. It was rebuilt at Cleburne in June 1972 as 2615, Class 2417. It was later sold to Texas Industries as 1002, and was transferred to Texas Central Business 1002.
20L, Class 16, was built in November 1946, #2737, FN E630-A9. It was rebuilt at Cleburne on February 14, 1972, as 2629, Class 2417, and was retired on June 26, 1987, It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co on July 1987 and later sold to Delta Southern RR as 105.
20C, Class 16, was built in November 1946, #2738, FN E630-A10. It was rebuilt at Cleburne in March 1972 as 2628, Class 2417, and sold to General Electric in December 1984. It was sold to Blue Mountain & Reading in March 1985 and sold to National Railway Equipment Co. It was sold as Maryland & Delaware RR 2628.
22L, Class 16, was built in March 1948, #5397, FN E902-A1. It was renumbered 308C, Class 300, on February 28, 1971, and rebuilt as 2554, Class 2417, on September 7, 1973. It was burned on October 26, 1983, and sold for scrap to Metal Processing on May 17, 1984.
22C, Class 16, was built in March 1948, #5398, FN E902-A2. It was rebuilt at Cleburne in March 1972 as 2626, Class 2417, and sold to National Railway Equipment Co. It was sold as DSRR 102.
24L, Class 16, was built in April 1948, #5401, FN E902-A5. It was rebuilt at Cleburne in April 1972 as 2623, Class 2417, and retired on January 16, 1987. It was sold as Railway Engineering & Supply Co 2623 in Februsry 1987.
24C, Class 16,, was built in April 1948, #5402, FN E902-A6. It was rebuilt at Cleburne in April 1972 as 2625, Class 2417, and retired in December 1983. It was sold to Southwest Railroad Car Parts and scrapped.
25L, Class 16, was built in April 1948, #5403, FN E902-A7. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in November 1969.
26C, Class 16, was built on May 14, 1948, #5406, FN E902-A8. It was retired and sold to Ferrocarril Chihuahua al Pacifico as 403 in May 1971.
27L, Class 16, was built in May 14, 1948, #5407, FN E902-A9. It was rebuilt at Clebure in February 1971 as 2642, Class 2417, and later retired on April 24, 1986. It was sold to Econorail as 2642 in March 1987.
27C, Class 16, was built in May 1948, #5408, FN E902-A10. It was rebuilt at Cleburne in June 1972 as 2618, Class 2417, and later retired in December 1987. It was sold as National Railway Equipment in December 1987 and sold to Louisiana & Delta RR as 1500 in December 1987.
28C, Class 16, was built in June 1948, #5410, FN E902-A12. It was renumbered 301C, Class 300, in May 1971, and then renumbered again as 345C, Class 325, in July 1973. It was rebuilt at Cleburne as 2473, Class 2417, on December 17, 1976. It was sold to Econorail in April 1986 and leased to Fort Worth & Western as 2473 in 1992. It was later returned to Econorail.
29L, Class 16, was built in June 1948, #5411, FN E902-A13. It was rebuilt at Cleburne on August 18, 1972, as 2609, Class 2417. It
was retired on October 10, 1986, and sold to National Railway Equipment on
December 7, 1987. They sold it to MidSouth
Rail as 7002 in December 1987 and later Louisiana & Delta 7002 in February
1994. It was renumbered as 1504 and later 1507 "Breaux Bridge".
29C, Class 16, was built in June 1948, #5412, FN E902-A14. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in April 1970.
31A, Class 16, was built in October 1948, #6629, FN E1014-B3. It was rebuilt as RCC as 22 in November 1969 and retired in November 1980.
31C, Class 16, was built in September 1948, #6616, FN E1014-A4. It was rebuilt at Cleburne in August 1971 as 2636, Class 2417, and retired in June 1987. It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co and resold as Washington Central RR 402 in October 1987. It was sold to Burlington Northern Santa Fe in December 1996 and sold as Nebraska Kansas & Colorado Railnet 3. It was scrapped in January 2011.
32L, Class 16, was built in October 1948, #6617, FN E1014-A5. It was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in January 1949 and traded in to Electro-Motive in May 1969.
32C, Class 16, was built in October 1948, #6618, FN E1014-A6. It was renumbered 314C, Class 300, in April 1971, and rebuilt at Cleburne on April 7, 1986, as 2490, Class 2417. It was later as Ashley Drew & Northern as 1513.
33L, Class 16, was built in November 1948, #6619, FN E1014-A7. It was rebuilt at Cleburne on July 11, 1972, as 2614, Class 2417. It was retired on June 26, 1987, and sold to National Railway Equipment in July 1987. It was sold as Red River Valley & Western 309 in August 1987.
33B, Class 16, was built in November 1948, #6634, FN E1014-B8. It was rebuilt as 103, Class 101, on February 14, 1972, and was retired in August 1981.
34L, Class 16, was built in January 1949, #6621, FN E1014-A9. It was renumbered 302C, Class 300, in April 1971, and rebuilt at Cleburne in June 1973 as 2565, Class 2417. It was sold as Pioneer Valley RR 2565 and transferred as Florida Central RR 56.
34C, Class 16, was built in January 1949, #6622, FN E1014-A10. It was renumbered 313C, Class 300, on May 4, 1971, and rebuilt at Cleburne on December 13, 1971, as 2631, Class 2417. On April 7, 1986, it was sold to EconoRail who then sold or leased it to Zacky Farms.
35L, Class 16, was built in January 1949, #6623, FN E1014-A11. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in 1969.
36L, Class 16, was built in January 1949, #6625, FN E1014-A13. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in 1969.
200C, Class 200, was built in October 1948, #7800, FN E1104-A2. It was rebuilt at Cleburne on September 30, 1970, as 2646, Class 2417. It was retired in June 1987 and sold to National Ry Equipment Co on December 7, 1987. They sold it to Texas & Northern as 995 in February 1988.
201C, Class 200, was built in November 1948, #7802, FN E1104-A4. It was rebuilt at Cleburne on May 31, 1972, as 2619, Class 2417. It was retired on June 26, 1987, and sold to National Railway Equipment in July 1987. It was sold to Los Angeles Junction 2619 in October 1987.
