Yorktown & Tampico Ry.
This 10 mile railroad served the three towns it was named after between 1907 and 1954. It provided a connection with the Burlington at Tampico for grain shippers in Hooppole and Yorktown until it plumb wore out. In doing some research, this was one of the very few lines not listed anywhere in my 1932 Poor's Manual of Railroads.
There has been an excellent history on this little line.
