Electro-Motive GP9 Diesels 9100-9199

 

9100 was built in March 1955, #20179, FN 5378-33.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8100 in December 1971 and sold as Gulf & Mississippi 8100.  It was sold as Mid South Rail 1078 and later sold as Rail Switching Services 1078.

9101 was built  in March 1955, #20180, FN 5378-34.  It was rebuilt at Paducah in September 1970 as 8101 and sold as McCoy Elkhorn Coal Corp 8101.

9104 was built in March 1955, #20283, FN 5383-2.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8104 in September 1975. It was later sold to Gulf & Ohio as 8104.

9107 was built in March 1955, #20286, FN 5383-5.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8107 in December 1969. It later became MSR 8107 and was later renumbered 1028. It was sold to SP Construction Services as 700 and later sold to Ohio Central as 700.   It was sold as Eastern Illinois RR 700.

9111 was built in March 1955, #20290, FN 5383-9, and was rebuilt at Paducah as 8111 in August 1971. It later became Chicago Central & Pacific 8111 and was later renumbered 1711.

9113 was built in April 1955, #20292, FN 5383-11.  It was rebuilt at Paducah in September 1969 as 8113 and sold as Iowa Interstate RR 8113 in October 1984.  It was renumbered 413 in 1987 and sold to Power Source Supply Inc as PWSX 413 in May 2005.

9115 was built in April 1955, #20294, FN 5383-13.  It was rebuilt by Paducah in June 1971 as  8115 and later sold as G&M  8115.  It was later sold as MSR  8115 and later renumbered 1064.  It was sold to Omnitrax as Carlton Trail Ry 1064 and transferred as Okanagan Valley Ry 1064 in 1998.  It was transferred as Central Kansas Ry 1064 in 2000 and then as Carlton Trail Ry 1064 in 2001.

9118 was built in December 1955, #20756, FN 5409-1.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8245 in July 1973. It later became U. S. Army 1877.

9119 was built in December 1955, #20757, FN 5409-2.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8090 in February 1975. It was later sold to Gulf & Ohio as Yadkin Valley 8090.

9120 was built in December 1955, #20758, FN 5409-3.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8389 in August 1970.  It became USA 1873 and sold to S&S Sales & Leasing as SSRX 1873.

9121 was built in December 1955, #20759, FN 5409-4, and was rebuilt at Paducah as 8121 in August 1970. It later became Chicago Central & Pacific 8121 and was later renumbered 1721.

9125 was built in December 1955, #20761, FN 5409-8.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 7987 in April 1973.  It was sold as Paducah & Louisville 7987 and renumbered 8319.  It was sold to Western Rail Inc as WRIX 8319 in 2008.

9128 was built in December 1955, #20766, FN 5409-11.  It was rebuilt at Paducah in July 1972 as 8128.  It was sold to MSR in April 1986 and later renumbered 1033.  It was sold to SP Construction Services as 702 and later sold to Ohio Central as 702.  It was sold to Motive Rail Inc as MRIX 702.

9129 was built in December 1955, #20767, FN 5409-2.  It was rebuilt at Paducah in June 1974 as 8365 and sold to Trans-Mark Associates on September 29, 1998.  It was sold as Wabash Central 6 in 1999.

9130 was built in January 1956, #20768, FN 5409-13.   It was rebuilt at Paducah in August 1979 as 8709 and sold to Railway Equipment Leasing Co as RLCX 1802 in 2005.

9135 was built in January 1956, #20773, FN 5409-18.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8110 in December 1974 and sold as Mountain Laurel RR 12 in February 1992.  It was sold as Louisiana & Delta RR 12 in January 1997 and renumbered 1850 "Evangeline".

9138 was built in January 1956, #20776, FN 5409-21.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 7725 in April 1975.

9140 was built in January 1956, #20778, FN 5409-23.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8140 in November 1970. It later became Mid South Rail 8140 and was renumbered 1027. It was retired.

9150 was built in January 1956, #20788, FN 5409-33.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8150 in June 1970. It later became Chicago Central & Pacific 8150 and was renumbered 1750.   It was sold as Maumee & Western RR 12 and resold as Wabash Central RR 12 in 2006.

9152 was built in January 1956, #20790, FN 5409-35.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8152 in June 1972. It later became Mid South Rail 8152 and was renumbered 1029. It later was sold to VMV in June 1993.

9155 was built in January 1956, #20793, FN 5409-38.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8155 in August 1972. It later became Mid South Rail 8155 and was renumbered 1014.

9156 was built in January 1956, #20794, FN 5409-39, and was rebuilt at Paducah as 8006 in March 1977.

9157 was built in January 1996, #20795, FN 5409-40, and was rebuilt at Paducah as 8157 in February 1974.

9158 was built in January 1956, #20796, FN 5409-41, and was rebuilt at Paducah as 8158 in May 1968. It was wrecked and rebuilt again on April 7, 1977, as 8126.  It was sold to Farmrail Corp as 8126 on March 31, 2005.

9160 was built January 1956, #20798, FN 5409-43, and was rebuilt at Paducah in February 1972 as 8160. In April 1986 it went to MSR as 8160 and was later renumbered 1050. Later it went to Arkansas-Oklahoma RR as 1050.

9163 was built in January 1956, #20801, FN 5409-46, and was rebuilt at Paducah as 8163 in April 1971. It later became Chicago Central & Pacific 8163 and was renumbered 1743.  It was returned as IC 8417 and retired on September 5, 1998.  It was sold to Railcar Limited as RMPX 8417 on March 3, 2000.

9168 was built in January 1956, #20806, FN 5409-51, and was rebuilt at Paducah as 7700 in May 1974.  It was sold as Arkansas Midland RR 700 on January 17, 1992.

9170 was built in January 1956, #20808, FN 5409-53, and was rebuilt at Paducah as 8170 in February 1971. It became Chicago Central & Pacific 8170 and was renumbered 1770. In March 1999 it was sold to Hollis & Eastern as 8170 and sold to Mountain Cement Co as MCTZ 8170 in September 2011.

9172 was built in January 1956, #20810, FN 5409-55, and was scrapped in June 1987.

9173 was built in January 1956, #20811, FN 5409-56, and was rebuilt at Paducah as 8173 in October 1972.

9175 was built in January 1956, #20813, FN 5409-58.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8175 in August 1970 and wrecked on May 20, 1984.

9177 was built in January 1956, #20815, FN 5409-60.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8177 in May 1970 and sold as MidSouth Rail 9177.  It was renumbered 1036.  It was rebuilt as Kansas City Southern 1906W, GP10B, in 2005 and renumbered 906 in 2008.

9180 was built in January 1956, #20818, FN 5409-63.  It was rebuilt at Paducah in February 1972 and renumbered 8180. It kept the same number when acquired as Farmrail 8180 "Creek".

9181 was built in January 1956, #20819, FN 5409-64.  It was rebuilt at Paducah in December 1971 and renumbered 8181 and became Chicago Central & Pacific 8181.  It was returned as IC 8408 in 1996 and plinthed at Homewood, IL.

9182 was built in January 1956, #20820, FN 5409-65.  It was scrapped in 1985.

9183 was built in January 1956, #20821, FN 5409-66.  It was rebuilt at Paducah in April 1972 and renumbered 8183.  It was sold as Paducah & Louisville 8183 and renumbered 8348.  It was resold as Canac International 8348.

9184 was built in January 1956, #20822, FN 5409-67.  It was rebuilt at Paducah in April 1971 as 8184.  It was sold in April 1986 as MidSouth Rail 8184 and renumbered 1032.

9189 was built in December 1956, #22274, FN 5480-2.  It was rebuilt by Paducah in October 1972 as ICG 8189 and sold as PAL 8302.

9191 was built in December 1956, #22276, FN 5480-4.  It was rebuilt at Paducah in September 1969 as 8191.  It was sold in April 1986 as MidSouth Rail 8191 and renumbered 1057.  It was retired.

9194 was built in December 1956, #22279, FN 5480-7.  It was rebuilt at Paducah in July 1970 as 8194.  It was sold as Chicago Central & Pacific 8194 and renumbered 1794. 

9198 was built in January 1957, #22283, FN 5480-11.  It was rebuilt at Paducah in January 1981 as ICG 8752 and became IC 8752.  It was sold as United States Sugar Corp 8752.
