702, GP9u, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1955, #20766, FN 5409-11, as Illinois Central 9128. It was rebuilt at Paducah in July 1972 as Illinois Central Gulf 8128. It was sold to MidSouth Rail in April 1986 and later renumbered 1033. It was sold to SP Construction Services as 702 and later sold to Ohio Central as 702. It was sold as MRIX 702.
