Canac, Inc.
1360, SW1200RS, Class GR-12y, was built by General Motors in April 1960, #A1845, FN C237-3, as Canadian National 1360, Class GR-12y. It was retired on October 9, 1998, and sold as Canac 1360. It was leased to Pioneer Chlor Alkali in May 1999 and leased to Cargil Grain in 2001. It was terminated in 2002 and leased to PPG Standard Chemicals. It was leased to Monsanto in early 2004 and sold to Savage Co as SVGX 1360 in September 2009.
1704, GP7u, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1950, #12299, FN 5006-5, as Clinchfield
RR 904, a
GP7. It was rebuilt at Paducah in June 1979 as 4604. It became
3500, M420W, was built by Montreal in April 1973, #M6071-01 as Canadian National 2500, Class MR-20a. It was renumbered 3500 in 1986 and retired on November 25, 1997. It was transferred as Canac Inc 3500 and sold as Kelowna Pacific Ry 3500. It was sold as Lake States RR 3500 in 2004 and scrapped in October 2011.
3501, M420W, was built by Montreal in May 1973, #M6071-02, as CN 2501, Class MR-20a. It was renumbered 3501 in 1986 and retired on November 25, 1997. It was transferred as Canac 3501 and sold as St Lawrence & Atlantic Ry 3573 in 1999. It was sold as Hudson Bay Ry 3501 on April 18, 2004.
3504, M420W, was built by Montreal in April 1973, #M6071-05, as CN 2504, Class MR-20a. It was renumbered 3504 in 1986 and retired on December 11, 1997. It was transferred as Canac 3504 and sold as KPRy 3504. It was sold as LSRC 3504 in 2004 and scrapped in October 2011.
7102, SW1200RS, was built by General Motors in May 1956, #A-857, FN C198-4, as CN 1230, Class GR-12f. It was rebuilt at Pointe Ste Charles in 1987 at 7102, Class GS-413b, and retired on February 29, 2000. It was sold as Canac 7102 in 2000.
7106, SW1200RS, was built by General Motors in January 1957, #A1029, FN C215-10, as CN 1257, Class GR-12h. It was rebuilt at Pointe Ste Charles in 1987 as 7106, Class GS-412b, and retired on February 29, 2000. It was sold as Canac 7106 in 2000, and sold to Savage Co as SVGX 7106.
7312, SW1200RS, was built by General Motors in September 1957, #A1171, FN C228-5, as CN 1275, Class GR-12k. It was rebuilt at Pointe Ste Charles in 1987 as 7312, Class GS-412a. It was retired on March 3, 2000, and sold as Canac 7312 in 2000. It was sold as SVGX 7312 and sold as Northwestern Oklahoma RR 7312.
7313, SW1200RS, was built by General Motors in September 1956, #A870, FN C184-17, as CN 1243, Class GF-12f. It was rebuilt at Pointe Ste Charles in 1987 as 7313, Class GS-412a and retired on June 18, 2002. It was sold as Canac 7313.
8308, GP9u, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1954, #18821, FN 5307-25, as Illinois Central 9024. It was rebuilt by Paducah in 1970 as 8103 and sold as Paducah & Louisville as 8103 in 1986. It was rebuilt as 8308 and sold as CANX 8308 in 2002. It was sold to Diesel Locomotive Co as DLCX 8308 in 2011.
8348, GP9u, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1956, #20821, FN 5409-66, as IC 9183. It was rebuilt at Paducah in April 1972 and renumbered 8183. It was sold as PAL 8183 and renumbered 8348. It was resold as Canac 8348.
8704, S13u, was built by Montreal in October 1959, #83176, as CN 8608, Class MS-10r. It was rebuilt in 1984 as 8704, Class MS-410a, and retired on August 8, 1997. It was transferred as Canac 8704 and acquired by Alberta Railway Museum in 2003.
8709, S13u, was built by Montreal in 1959, as CN 8504, Class MS-10q. It was rebuilt in 1985 as 8709, Class MS-410b, and retired on August 16, 1997. It was transferred as Canac 8709.
8734, GP9u, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1957, #23704, FN 5552-49, as Union Pacific 348, Class GP-9. It was retired in May 1978 and sold to Precision National Corp on January 23, 1979. It was sold to Illinois Central Gulf and rebuilt as 8734, GP11, in April 1980. It was sold to Canac Intl as CANX 8734 on February 14, 2001, and sold to Savage Inc as SVGX 8734 in 2009.
13170, SW1200RS, was built by General Motors in September 1958, #A1554, FN C253-13, as CN 1317, Class GR-12r. It was sold as Canac 13170 and resold to ConAgra for Gavilon Inc as CAGX 13170.
