6057, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1966, #32101, FN 7614-1, as Kansas City Southern 600. It was sold to Helm as 5007 and later renumbered 6057.

6060, SD40 was built by Electro-Motive in October 1966, #32411, FN 7932-12, as Union Pacific 3059. It was sold to Morrison Knudsen as 8304 on August 23, 1989, and rebuilt as 9022 on September 12, 1990. It was sold to Helm as 6060 on April 15, 1996.

6067, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1967, #33162, FN 7998-2, as Baltimore & Ohio 7483, Class SD-40.  It was transferred as Central RR of New Jersey 3063, Class SD-40 on December 14, 1967, and became Consolidated Railroad Corp 6286, Class SD-40, in April 1976.  It was retired on September 20, 1995, and sold to Helm.  It was rebuilt by VMV Enterprises in October 1996 as HLCX 6067. 

6071, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1970, #36129, FN 7254-2, as Detroit Edison Co 006. It was sold to Maine Central as 602 in February 1968. It later sold to Helm as 5057 and was renumbered 6071.

6073, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1970, #35735, as Missouri Pacific 764. It was renumbered 3064 in March 1974 and was assigned as Union Pacific 4064 in July 1985 and retired on October 9, 1992, It was by Helm Leasing May 26, 1993. It was overhauled by AMF and became 3064 on January 12, 1994. It was renumbered 6073 in 1997.

6075, SD40M-2, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1971, #37911, FN 7324-23, as UP 3105.  It was retired on October 8, 1992, and sold to Helm on May 26, 1993.  It was rebuilt by AMF as HLCX 3105 on July 16, 1993, and rebuilt by Boise Locomotive on May 21, 1997, as HLCX 6075, SD40M-2.

6100, SD40u, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1971, #5801-6, as Burlington Northern 6305, Class SD40. It was retired in April 1991 and sold to Cleburne Railway Services in May 1991. They rebuilt it as Helm 6100.

6200, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in February, 1974, #74609-7, as Chicago & North Western 6822. It was wrecked in 1984 and retired on September 25, 1997. It was sold to Helm and rebuilt as 6200.

6204, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1978, #776129-1, FN 776129-1, as Kennecott Copper Co 101.  It was sold as BC Rail 736 in October 1986 and sold as HLCX 6204 in 1994.

6207, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1978, #776128-4, FN 776129-4, as KCC 104.  It was sold as BCR 739 in October 1986 and sold as HLCX 6207 in 1994.

6211, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1974, #73687-13, as Chicago Milwaukee St Paul & Pacific 194, Class 30ERS6. It was assigned Soo Line 6384 in 1985 and banditized in 1987. It was retired in July 1989 and became DM&E 6384, "City of New Ulm", in March 1990. It was returned to Helm and renumbered 6211.

6212, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1974, #73687-18, as CMStP&P 199, Class 30ERS6. It was renumbered Soo 6386 in 1985. In July 1989 it was sold to Helm as 6386 and then became DM&E 6386, "City of Walnut Grove", in March 1990. It was returned to Helm and renumbered 6212.

6223, SD40-M2, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1966, #32404, FN 7932-5, as UP 3052, SD40.  It was retired on April 12, 1989, and sold to Wilson Railway Co on June 6, 1989.  It was sold as PLM Leasing Co 3052 in August 1989 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as SD40-2 on September 6, 1990.  It was sold to Morrison Knudsen in April 1993 and rebuilt as MPI 9049 on September 2, 1993, SD40-M2.  It was sold as Helm  6223 on August 26, 1996, and leased as Transportation Ferroviaria Mexicana 1509.

6229, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in October 1977, #A3503, as Canadian Pacific 5839, Class DRF-30q.  It was wrecked in 1999 and sold as Helm 6229.  It was sold as Lycoming Valley RR 3025 in December 2011.

6238, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1979, ##786161-27, FN 786161-27, as Missouri Pacific 6046.  It became Union Pacific 3946, Class SD40-2, on April 10, 1989, and retired on May 24, 2001.  It was lettered as WP 3946, Class RSD40-2, on February 13, 2003, and sold as HLCX 6238 and scrapped by Milano Metals in March 2013.

6257, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1979, #786170-3, as UP 3501, Class SD40-2.  It was retired on July 16, 2007, and sold to Helm as HLCX 6257.

6297, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1978, #786166-12, as Burlington Northern 7086, Class SD40-2. It was assigned as Burlington Northern Santa Fe but later sold to Helm as 6297.

6300, SD40-3, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1971, #37910, as Union Pacific 3104. It was retired on January 30, 1989, and was sold to Wilson Railway Co on June 6, 1989. It was sold to PLM Leasing Co in August 1989, It was rebuilt by Morrison-Knudsen in August 31, 1990, and sold to MK in April 1998. MK rebuilt it as SD40-3 on April 4, 1994, as MK 9053. It was then sold to Helm as 6300 on August 26, 1996. It was leased to Transportacion Ferroviaria Mexicano as 1511 and later returned to Helm as HATX 1511.

6301, SD40-3, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1966, #31433, FN 7865-20, as UP 3019, Class SD40.  It was retired on March 9, 1989, and sold to Wilson Railway Co on June 6, 1989.  It was sold PLM as 3019 in August 1989 and was rebuilt by MK on August 27, 1990, as SD40M-2.  It was sold to MK and rebuilt on February 14, 1994, as 9054, SD40-3.  It was sold as HLCX 6301 on August 26, 1996, and leased as TFM 1512.  It was returned as HATX 6301 and scrapped in November 2012.

6303, SD40-3, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1968, #33780, as Missouri Pacific 729. It was renumbered 3029 in 1978 aand assigned to UP as 4029 in July 1985. It was retired on January 30, 1989, and was sold to Wilson Railway Co on Marc 17, 1989. It was sold to PLM as 3029 in August 1989 and was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in April 1993 as SD40-3. It was sold to MK in February 24, 1994, as 9052, and then sold to Helm as 6303 on August 26, 1996. It was leased to TFM as 1514 and later returned, as HATX 1514.

6305, SD40-3, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1957, #32968, FN 7962-1, as MP 700. It was renumbered 3000 in 1978 aand assigned to UP as 4000 in July 1985. It was retired on January 30, 1989, and was sold to Wilson Railway Co on March 17, 1989. It was sold to PLM as 3000 in August 1989 and was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in September 27, 1990, as SD40-2. It was sold to MK and rebuilt as SD40-3 on August 13, 1993, as 9049, and then sold to Helm  as 6305 on August 26, 1996. It was leased to TFM as 1508 and later returned as HATX 1508.

6306,SD40, was built by General Motors in May 1970, A2387, FN C333-3, as Canadian National 5128, Class GF-30h.  It was retired on May 21, 1998, and sold as HLCX 6306 in 1998.  It was scrapped in December 2012.

6320, SD40-3, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1966, #31432, FN 7865-19, as Union Pacific 3018.  It was retired on January 30, 1989, and sold to Wilson Railway Co on June 6, 1989.  It was sold to PLM Leasing Co as 3018 in August 1989 and was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen on September 7, 1990, as SD40-2.  It was sold to Morrison Knudsen and rebuilt on October 26, 1993, as 9052, SD40-3.  It was sold to Helm and leased as Transportacion Ferroviaria Mexicano 1506.  It was returned as HATX 1506 and renumbered 6320.  It was sold for scrap in October 2012.

6325, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1971, #37641, FN 7324-3, as UP 3085.  It was retired on October 23, 1991, and sold as HLCX 6201 on July 13, 1992.  It was renumbered 6325 and scrapped by Becker Iron & Metal in October 2012.

6336, SD40u, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1966, #31497, FN 7861-7, as Southern Pacific 8416, Class EF7301-1.  It was rebuilt as 7314, Class EF630R-1, in August 1980 and retired on August 6, 2002.  It was sold as General Electric Co GECX 7314 and sold as HLCX 6336 in 2005.  It was sold to Watco as WAMX 4131 in 2008.

6359, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1974, #73687-12, FN 73687-12, as CMStP&P 193, Class 30ERS6. It was renumbered Soo 6359 in 1985 and was sold to Helm as 6359 in July 1989. It was sold to DM&E as 6359, "Mount Rushmore", in March 1990.

6360, SD40-2, was built ny Electro-Motive in June 1974, #73687-15, as CMStP&P 195, Class 30ERS6. It was renumbered Soo 6360 in 1985. In July 1989 it was sold to Helm as 6360 and then became DM&E 6360, "City of Mankato", in March 1990.

6361, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1974, #73687-16, as CMStP&P 197, Class 30ERS6. It was renumbered Soo 6361 in 1985. In July 1989 it was sold to Helm as 6361 and then became DM&E 6361, "City of Redfield", in March 1990.  It was wrecked at Brookings, SC, on August 25, 2000.

6363, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1974, #73687-20, as CMStP&P 201, Class 30ERS6. It was renumbered Soo 6363 in 1985. In July 1989 it was sold to Helm as 6363 and then became DM&E 6363, "City of Rochester", in March 1990.

6364, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1974, #73687-22, as CMStP&P 203, Class 30ERS6. It was renumbered Soo 6364 in 1985. In July 1989 it was sold to Helm as 6364 and then became DM&E 6364, "City of Sleepy Eye", in March 1990.

6367, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1974, #73667-25, as CMStP&P 206, Class 30E-RS6. It later became Soo 6367 and was sold to Helm in 1990 as 6367. It later became DM&E 6367 "City of New Ulm" in January 1995.

6369, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1974, #73687-27, as CMStP&P 208, Class 30ERS6. It was renumbered Soo 6369 in 1985. It was retired in July 1989 and sold to Helm as 6369 in July 1991. It became DM&E 6369, "City of Walnut Grove", in February 1996.

6370, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1974, #73667-28, as CMStP&P 209, Class 30E-RS6. It later became Soo 6370 and was sold to Helm in 1990 as 6370. It later became DM&E 6370 "City of Arlington" in January 1995.

6399, SD40-3, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1965, #29874, as General Motors 434B.  It was sold as UP 3041 in February 1966.  It was retired on January 3, 1989, and sold to Wilson Railway Co on March 17, 1989.  It was sold to PLM as 3041 in August 1989 and was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen on September 30, 1990, as SD40-2.  It was sold to MK and rebuilt on November 19, 1993, as 9051, SD40-3.  It was sold to Helm as 6399 on August 26, 1996, and leased as TFM 1507.  It was returned as HATX 1507.

6400, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1966, #31951, as Northern Pacific 3600.  It became Burlington Northern 6400, Class SD-45, in 1970 and was sold as NHL 6400.  It was leased as Utah Ry 6400 in July 1989 and returned as NHL 6400.  It was then rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as MKCX 9413.

6400, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1967, #33804, as Pennsylvania RR 6170, Class EF-36, SD45. It became Penn Central 6170, Class EF-36, in 1988 and Consolidated Railroad Corp 6170, Class SD-45, and was sold to Chicago & North Western in February 1983 and numbered 6500 on August 22, 1983, and retired on May 14, 1996.  It was rebuilt as Helm 6400, SD40-2.

6404, SD40-3, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1967, #32764, as Southern Pacific 8850, Class EF636-2.  It was rebuilt in December 1981 as 7418, Class EF636LR-5, and retired on November 9, 1997.  It was sold to VMV on November 16, 1997, and was rebuilt as SD40-3 Helm 6404 on March 12. 1998.

6414, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1971, #5801-15, as Burlington Northern 6314, Class SD40.  It was retired in February 1987 and sold as NHL 6414 in April 1987.

6420, SD45,  was built by Electro-Motive in December 1971, #5794-18, FN 5794-18, as Burlington Northern 6560, Class SD-45.  It was sold to Pielet Brothers in March 1987 and sold to National Ry Equipment Co in April 1987.  It was sold to Wisconsin Central Ltd as 6560 in December 1987 and renumbered 6532.  It was rebuilt as 7532 and sold to National Ry Equipment Co as NREX 6420 in 2007.

6421, GP40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1973, #73611-8, as Detroit Toledo & Ironton 421.  It became Grand Trunk Western 6421, Class GF430k, in 1984 and sold to Alstom on June 29, 2001.  It was sold as Helm 6421 in 2004 and rebuilt as Bay Line RR 2051, GP38-2, in 2008.

6422, GP40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1979, #7386125-1, as DT&I 422.  It became GTW 6422, Class GF-430L, in 1984 and sold to Alstom on June 29, 2001.  It was sold as Helm 6422 in 2004 and rebuilt as United States Sugar Corp 405 in March 2006.

6423, GP40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1979, #786125-2, as DT&I 423.  It became GTW 6423, Class GF-430L, in 1984 and sold to Alstom on June 29, 2001.  It was sold as Helm 6423 in 2004 and rebuilt as USSC 406 in 2006.

6437, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1966, #31605, as Great Northern 407, Class SD-45.  It became BN 6437, Class SD-45, in 1970 and retired in November 1984 and sold to S R Robinson Co in Decenber 1984.  It was sold as NHL 6437.

6445, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1967, #32995, FN 7963-8, as GN 415, Class SD-45.  It became BN 6445, Class SD-45, in 1970 and retired in December 1986.  It was sold to Pielet Brothers and sold as NHL 6445.  It was resold as Montana Rail Link 6445 in July 1989 and renumbered 351

6502, SD40M-2, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1968, #33840, FN7993-37, as Pennsylvania RR 6216, Class EF-36.  It became Penn Central 6216, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Consolidated Railroad Corp 6216, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold to Chicago & North Western in February 1983 and became 6539 on January 4, 1984.  It was sold to Helm and rebuilt as HLCX 6502, SD40M-2.

6505, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1970, #36361, FN 7261-1, as planned as Northern Pacific  3640.  It was built as BN 6482, Class SD-45. It was retired in June 1985 and then leased to Chicago & North Western 6482 in September 1986. It was later retired and sold to Helm as 6505.

6506, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1971, #37114, FN 5773-9, as BN 6506, Class SD-45.  It was retired in June 1986 and returned to the leasor in August 1986.  It was sold as NHL 6506 in April 1987.  It was resold to WCL as 6506 in December 1987.  It was later rebuilt as 7506.

6506, SD40M-3, was built by Electro-Motive  in December 1967, #33808, FN 7993-5, as PRR 6174, Class EF-36, SD45.  It became PC 6174, Class EF-36, in 1968 and Conrail 6174, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold to C&NW  in February 1983 and numbered 6503 on January 4, 1984.  It was rebuilt as Helm 6506, SD40M-3.

6510, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1966, #31843, FN 5703-4, as Atlantic Coast Line 1027. It became Seaboard Coast Line 2003 in May 1976 and SBD 2003 in January 1983.  It was renumbered 8903 in 1984 and became CSX Transportation 8903, Class SD-45, in April 1986.  It was sold to VMV Enterprises as 8903 and Morrison Knudsen Corp as 9517.  It was sold as HLCX 6510.

6513, SD40M-3, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1968, #33868, FN 7091-5, as PRR 6209, Class EF-36, SD45.  It became PC 6209, Class EF-36, in 1968 and Conrail 6209, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold to C&NW in February 1983 and numbered 6533 on October 21, 1983.  It was retired on October 10, 1989, and sold to VMV.  It was sold as MKC 9504.  It was reuilt as HLCX 6513, SD40M-3.

6515, SDP45, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1970, #36659, FN 7246-2, as Erie Lackawanna 3655, Class MFE-36D-6A. It became Consolidated Railroad Corp 6686, Class SDP-45, in April 1976 and later was told to VMV as 6686 in 1986. It was then sold to Helm as 6515.

6518, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1971, #37126, as BN 6518, Class SD-45.  It was retired in June 1986 and returned to the leasor in August 1986.  It was sold as NHL 6518 and sold for scrap at Pielet Bros Co.

6534, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1971, #37142, FN 5773-37, as BN 6534, Class SD-45.  It was returned to the leasor in August 1986 and sold as NHL 6534 in April 1987.  It was sold to WCLtd as 6534 in December 1987.  It was renumbered 6521.

6550, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1970, #35788, as Southern Pacific 9151, Class EF636-6, SD45.  It was sold as Helm 6550 in February 1988 and rebuilt as SD40M-3 on June 18, 1994, as SP 8589.  It was renumbered as UP 2665 on June 19, 2001.

6557, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive  in December 1971, #5794-15, as BN 6557, Class SD-45.  It was retired in December 1986 and sold to NHL 6557 in March 1987.  It was sold to Montana Rail Link as 6557 in October 1989 and later rebuilt as 354.  It was transfered as I & M Rail Link 354 in April 1997 and returned as MRL 354 in July 2002.

6600, SD45-3, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1968, #33848, as Pennsylvania RR 6224, Class EF-36. SD45.  It became Penn Central 6224, Class EF-36, in 1968 and then Consolidated Railroad Corp as 6224, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold as Chicago & North Western 6547 on November 7, 1983, and rebuilt with a Caterpillar as 6000 in February 1986.  It was sold to Helm and rebuilt as 6600, SD45-3.

6686, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1969, #35486, as St Louis-San Francisco 938l.  It became Burlington Northern 6685, Class SD-45, in December 1980 and retired on December 9, 1986.  It was sold to Azcon Corp on February 21, 1987, and then to National Helm Leasing Corp 6686 in March 1987.  It was sold as Montana Rail Link 6686 on October 31, 1989, and renumbered 908.  It was rebuilt as 357 and later transferred as I&M Rail Link 357 in April 1997.  It was returned as MRL 357 in July 2002.

6692, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1969, #35584, as SL-SF 944.  It became BN 6692, Class SD-45, in December 1980 and retired on December 15, 1986.  It was sold to Azcon on February 21, 1987, and resold as National Helm Leasing Corp 6692 in March 1987.

6694, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1969, #35586, as SL-SF 946.  It became BN 6694, Class SD-45, in December 1980 and retired on December 13, 1986.  It was sold to Azcon on March 9, 1987, and resold as National Helm Leasing Corp 6694 in March 1987.  It was sold as Montana Rail Link 6694 on October 31, 1989, and renumbered 908.  It was rebuilt as 358 and transferred as I&M Rail Link 358 in April 1997.  It was returned as MRL 358 in July 2002.

6695, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1969, #35587, as SL-SF 947.  It became BN 6695, Class SD-45, in December 1980 and retired on December 15, 1986.  It was sold as National Helm Leasing Co 6695 in March 1987,

6846, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1978, #776109-7. FN 776109-7, as SL-SF 956.  It became BN 6846, Class SD40-2, in December 1980, and became BNSF 6846, Class SD40-2, in June 2002.  It was retired on February 27, 2009, and sold as HLCX 6846.  It was sold for scrap in October 2012.
