Electro-Motive SD40 Diesels

6301, Class SD-40, was built in October 1971, #5801-2, FN 5801-2.  It was retired and sold as Montana Rail Link 201 in October 1987.  It was rebuilt as 261, SD40-2XR.

6303, Class SD-40, was built in October 1971, #5801-4, FN 5801-4. It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 6318, Class SD40, in April 1998.

6305, Class SD40, was built in October 1971, #5801-6, FN 5801-6. It was retired in April 1991 and sold to Cleburne Railway Services in May 1991. They rebuilt it as Helm Leasing 6100.

6307, Class SD40, was built in October 1971, #5801-8, FN 5808-8.  It went to MRL as 210 in October 1987.  It was later rebuilt as 260.

6309, Class SD40, was built in October 1971, #5801-10, FN 5801-10.  It became BNSF 6320, Class SD40, in February 1968.

6310, Class SD40, was built in October 1971, #5801-11, FN 5801-11. It went to MRL as 212 in October 1987. It was later rebuilt as 254.

6312, Class SD40, was built in November 1971, #5801-13, FN 5801-13.  It went to MRL as 203 in October 1987.  It was rebuilt as 253 in October 1993, SD40-2XR.

6314, Class SD40, was built in November 1971, #5801-15, FN 5801-15.  It was retired in February 1987 and sold as National Helm Leasing Corp 6414 in April 1987.

6319, Class SD40, was built in November 1971, #5801-20. FN 5801-20.  It was wrecked in March 1984 and sold for scrap to Carroll K Sears Co in April 1984.

6324, Class SD40, was built in November 1971, #5801-25, FN 5801-25. In October 1987 it became MRL 208. It was rebuilt at Livingston in June 1991 as 259, SD40-2XR.

6335, Class SD40, was built in October 1967, #33516, FN 7073-1, as Colorado & Southern 875. In August 1979 it was renumbered 6335, Class SD40. In January 1982 it became BN 6335, Class SD40. It became MRL 216 in October 1987.

6336, Class SD40, was built in October 1967, #33517, FN 7073-2, as C&S 876. In August 1979 it was renumbered 6336, Class SD40. In January 1982 it became BN 6336, Class SD40. It became MRL 206 in October 1987.

6337, Class SD40, was built in October 1967, #33518, FN 7073-3, as C&S 877. In August 1979 it was renumbered 6337, Class SD40. In January 1982 it became BN 6337, Class SD40. It became MRL 217 in October 1987. It was rebuilt at Livingston in June 1991 and became 258, Class SD40-2XR, on June 14, 1991.

6338, Class SD40, was built in October 1967, #33519, FN 7073-4, as C&S 878.  It was renumbered 6338, Class SD-40, in August 1979.  It became BN 6338, Class SD-40, in January 1982 and retired in August 1986.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co as 6338 in April 1987 and sold to Morrison Knudsen Corp as MKCX 9412 in 1994.  It was sold to Helm Leasing Corp as HLCX 6222 in 1996 and rebuilt as HLCX 6318, SD40M-2.  It was sold as New Brunswick Southern Ry 6318 in May 2014.  

6339, Class SD40, was built in April 1968, #33918, FN 7103-1, as C&S 879.  It was renumbered 6339, Class SD-40, in August 1979.  It became BN 6339, Class SD-40, in January 1982 and became BNSF 6367, Class SD-40, on August 3, 1998.

6341, Class SD40, was built in April 1968, #33920, FN 7103-3, as C&S 881. In August 1979 it was renumbered 6341, Class SD40. In January 1982 it became BN 6341, Class SD40. It became MRL 200 in October 1987.

6343, Class SD40, was built in April 1968, #33922, FN 7103-5, as C&S 883. In August 1979 it was renumbered 6343, Class SD40. It was wrecked and retired in August 1980. It was scrapped by BN in March 1981.

6345, Class SD40, was built in April 1968, #33924, FN 7103-7, as C&S 885. In August 1979 it was renumbered 6345, Class SD40. In January 1982 it became BN 6345, Class SD40. It was retired in August 1986 and became MRL 218 in October 1987.

6347, Class SD40, was built in April 1968, #33926, FN 7103-9, as C&S 887.  In August 1979 it was renumbered 6347, Class SD40.  In January 1982 it became BN 6347, Class SD40.  It became MRL 204 in October 1987.  It was leased as I&M Rail-Link 204 and returned as MRL 204.

7300, Class SD-40G, was built in March 1971, #37543, FN 7319-1, as Missouri Pacific 770.  It was renumbered 3070 in March 1971 and sold as Helm Leasing  5070.  It was then sold as General American Transportation Corp 5070 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as BN 7300, Class SD-40G, in April 1989.  It was rebuilt as Locomotive Leasing Partners 4302 in July 1997 and later rebuilt as Belt Ry of Chicago 563, SD38-3.  It was resold as Alamo Gulf Coast RR 2.

7301, Class SD-40G, was built in March 1971, #37345, FN 7319-3, as MP 772.  It was renumbered 3072 in March 1971 and sold as Helm 5072.  It was then sold as GATX 5072 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as BN 7301, Class SD-40G, in May 1989.  It was rebuilt as LLPX 4301 in July 1997 and later rebuilt as BRC 564, SD38-3.

7303, Class SD-40G, was built in March 1971, #37548, FN 7319-6, as MP 775.  It was renumbered 3075 in March 1971 and sold as Helm 5075.  It was then sold as GATX 5075 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as BN 7303, Class SD-40G, in March 1989.  It was rebuilt as LLPX 4303 in July 1997 and later rebuilt as BRC 565, SD38-3.

7304, Class SD-40G, was built in March 1971, #37549, FN 7319-7, as MP 776.  It was renumbered 3076 in March 1971 and sold as Helm 5076.  It was then sold as GATX 5076 and rebuilt as BN 7304, Class SD-40G, in May 1989.  It was rebuilt as LLPX 4304 in July 1997 and later rebuilt as BRC 561, SD38-3.

7305, Class SD-40G, was built in March 1971, #37550, FN 7319-8, as MP 777.  It was renumbered 3077 in March 1971 and sold as Helm 5077,  It was then sold as GATX 5077 and rebuilt as BN 7305, Class SD-40G, in May 1989.  It was rebuilt as LLPX 4305 in July 1997 and later rebuilt as BRC 566, SD38-3.  It was resold as AGCR 1.

7308, Class SD-40G, was built in April 1971, #37559, FN 7319-17, as MP 786.  It was renumbered 3086 in March 1971 and sold as Helm 5086.  It was then sold as GATX 5086 and rebuilt as BN 7308, Class SD-40G, in June 1989.  It was rebuilt as LLPX 4307 in July 1997 and later rebuilt as BRC 560, SD38-3.

7309, Class SD-40G,was built in March 1971, #37561, FN 7319-19, as MP 788, SD40.  It was renumbered 3088 in March 1971 and sold as Helm 5088.  It was then sold as GATX 5088 and rebuilt as BN 7309, Class SD-40G, in April 1989.  It was rebuilt as LLPX 4308 in July 1997 and later rebuilt as BRC 562, SD38-3.    It was sold to ConAgra Inc as CAGX 608 and leased as Ardent Mills.
