Electro-Motive SD40 Diesels

8402, Class EF630-1, was built in January 1966, #31562, FN 7875-3.  It was sold and rebuilt as Morrison-Knudsen 8303 in August 1980.  It was rebuilt and transferred as Motive Power International 9003 and later sold to Helm Leasing  as 9003.

8404, Class EF630-1, was built in January 1966, #31564, FN 7875-5. It was rebuilt as 7333, Class EF630LR-1, in November 1980 and retired on June 29, 1999.

8406, Class EF630-1, was built in January 1966, #31566, FN 7875-7.  It was rebuilt as 7338, Class EF630R-1, in December 1980, and rebuilt for Helm Leasing Corp as HLCX 6334 in 2005.

8409, Class EF630-1. was built in February 1966, #31569, FN 7875-10.  It was rebuilt as 7345, Class EF630R-1, in January 1981 and retired on November 20, 2000.

8416, Class EF630-1, was built in February 1966, #31497, FN 7861-7.  It was rebuilt as 7314, Class EF630R-1, in August 1980 and retired on August 6, 2002.  It was sold as General Electric Co GECX 7314 and sold as HLCX 6336 in 2005.  It was sold to Watco as WAMX 4131 in 2008.

8419, Class EF630-1, was built in February 1966, #31500, FN 7861-10.  It was rebuilt as 7310, Class EF630R-1, in July 1980 and retired on July 17, 2001.  It was sold to Larry's Truck Equipment Co as LTE 7310.

8428, Class EF630-1, was built in March 1966, #31509, FN 7861-19.  It was rebuilt at Sacramento as 7344, Class EF630R-1, in December 1981 and retired on July 30, 1999.  It was rebuilt by Alstom in 2000 for CIT Financial  Group as CEFX 3109, SD40-2.

8429, Class EF630-1, was built in March 1966, #31510, FN 7861-20. It was rebuilt as 7309, Class EF630R-1, in July 1980 and retired on May 22, 2001.

 

8439, Class EF630-1, was built in March 1966, #31520, FN 7861-30.  It was rebuilt as 7381, Class EF630R-1, in July 1981 and rebuilt to GEC- Alstom as GCFX 3101.  It was sold as CEFX 3101 and sold to WATCo as WAMX 4226 in November 2017.

8440, Class EF630-1, was built in April 1966, #31521, FN 7861-31.  It was rebuilt as 7363, Class EF630R-1, in April 1981 and retired on January 21, 2002.  It was sold as National Railway Equipment Co 7363 and sold as Fort Worth & Western RR 2017 "Kid Curry".

8441, Class EF630-1, was built in April 1966, #31522, FN7361-32.  It was rebuilt as 7341, Class EF639R-1, in December 1980 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as CEFX 3112 as SD40M-2.

8447, Class EF630-1, was built in April 1966, #31528, FN 7861-38.  It was rebuilt as 7358, Class EF630R-1, in March 1981 and retired on December 19, 2001.  It was sold as Northern Illinois & Wisconsin 7358 and sold as Nebraska Northeastern RR 7358.  It was renumbered 113.

8449, Class EF630-1, was built in April 1966, #31530, FN 7861-40.  It was rebuilt as 7353, Class EF630LR-1, in February 1981 and retired on December 23, 1998.  It was sold to NRE as 7353 and sold as FWWR 2016 "Sundance Kid".

8452, Class EF630-1, was built in April 1966, #31533, FN 7861-43.  It was rebuilt as 7343, Class E630R-1, in December 1980, and sold as NRE 7343 in October 1999.

8454, Class EF630-1, was built in April 1966, #31535, FN 7861-45.  It was rebuilt as 7305, Class EF630R-1, in July 1980 and retired on November 20, 2000.

8455, Class EF630-1, was built in April 1966, #31536, FN 7861-46.  It was rebuilt as 7369, Class EF630R-1, in May 1981, and retired on April 30, 1999.  It was sold to Boise Locomotive on September 30, 1999.  It was sold to Alsthom-GEC  and rebuilt as GCFX 3102 in 2000.  It was sold to CIT Financial as CEFX 3102.  It was sold as FWWR 2023 "Hood County" in September 2013.

8462, Class EF630-1, was built in April 1966, #31543, FN 7861-53.  It was rebuilt as 7346, Class EF630R-1, in January 1981 and retired on June 29, 1998.  It was sold as NREX 7346 and sold as WAMX 4121.

8479, Class EF630-1, was built in April 1966, #31551, FN 7861-61.  It was rebuilt at Sacramento as 7342, Class EF630R-1, on December 17, 1980, and retired on July 17,1997.  It was sold to Boise Locomotive on April 17, 1999, and rebuilt by Alsthom-GEC  in 2000 as SD40-2.  It became GCFX 3096 and sold as CEFX 3096 in 2008.

8474, Class EF630-1, was built in May 1966, #31555, FN 7861-65.  It was rebuilt as 7328, Class EF630R-1, in October 1980 and retired on November 30, 2004.

8477, Class EF630-1, was built in May 1966, #31558, FN 7861-68.  It was rebuilt as 7330, Class EF630R-1, in October 1980 and retired in April 1999.  It was sold to Boise Locomotive and rebuilt as GECX 3098.

8479, Class EF630-2, was built in May 1968, #33671, FN 7083-1. It was rebuilt as 7347, Class EF630LR-1, in January 1981 and was wrecked and scrapped in August 1985.

8480, Class EF630-2, was built in April 1968, #33672, FN 7083-2. It was rebuilt as 7319, Class EF630R-1, in September 1980 and retired on July 25, 2000.
