Godrich-Exeter RR

178 "Pauline". GP9, was built General Motors in May 1960, #A1816, FN C628-3 as Cartier RR 3. It was renumbered 53 in 1960 and later as Intermountain Transportation Services 178. It later was Virginia Southern Ry 178 in 1990 and later Grand Rapids Southern RR 178 and G-EXRR 178 "Paulina". It then became DGNO in August 1997. Disposition has been lost.

179, GP9, was built by General Motors in May 1960, #A1818, FN C628-5, as Cartier 5.  It was renumbered 55 in 1960 and later as IM 179.  It later was Mid-Michigan RR 179 in 1990  and later GEXR 179 "Griffin" in 1992.  It was transferred as Ontario L'Original RR 179 in 1996 and transferred as Ottawa Valley Ry 179 in 2001.  It was transferred as MMRR 180 in 2008 and sold to Bro-Tex International Metals in October 2011.

180, GP9, was built by General Motors in May 1960, #A1819, FN C628-6, as Cartier 6.  It was renumbered 56 in 1960 and later as IM 180.  It later was MMRR 180 in 1990  and later G-EXRR 180 in 1992.  It was transferred as OLO 180 in 1996 and transferred as RLK 180 in 2001.  It was transferred as Michigan Shore RR 180 in 2008 and sold to Bro-Tex International Metals in October 2011.  It was scrapped in August 2012.

2127, GP7, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1952, #16377, FN 5145-11, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 2733, Class 2650. It was rebuilt at Cleburne in August 1978 as 2127, Class 2050. In August 1990 it was sold to Railtex as Georgia Southwestern RR 2127. In September 1997 it was moved to G-EXRR 2127.

3080, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1969, #34845, FN 7158-23, as Baltimore & Ohio 3722, Class GP-40.  It was returned as General American Transportation Co 3722 on May 17, 1984.  It was rebuilt at Livingston in 1984 and rebuilt at Livingston in June 16, 1989, as Burlington Northern 3080, Class GP-40G.  It was retired on February 28, 1992, and returned to GATX.  It was leased as Virginia Southern RR 3080 in June 1993 and transferred as G-EXRR 3080 in January 1994.  It was transferred as New England Central 3080 in May 1995 and renumbered 4048 in 1999.  It was rebuilt at Juniata by Railpower in March 2013, #RP178-005, as Dallas Garland & NorthEastern 146, RP20BD.

3821, GP38-3, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1967, #33359, FN 7060-47, as Baltimore & Ohio 3841, Class GP-38. It was later 2041 and then came CSX Transportation 2041, Class GP-38. It was retired on March 30, 1992, and was sold for Housatonic RR on August 11, 1992. It was sold on September 8, 1992, on Conrail and became Conrail Leasing Co as 305 on 1994. It then came to Central Oregon & Pacific as 5041 on April 5, 1995, and was renumbered 3821 on August 1998. It was transferred as Salt Lake City Southern RR 3821 on August 1999 and then G-EXRR 3821 on December 1999.

3834, GP35m, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1964, #28772, FN 7694-1, as Texas & Pacific 600. It was renumbered 2500 in 1974 and it became Missouri Pacific 2500 in 1976. It then rebuilt to 2250 HP as 2617 in January 1981. It was retired in August 18, 1986, and was sold by Wilson Ry Corp in January 5, 1987. It was leased to Kiamichi RR as 3804 and returned in April 1988. It was attempted to resold to Texas-Mexican RR as 869 in November 1988 but never delivered. It then went to Azcon. They sold it to Railtex, who sent it to the Austin & Northwestern as 66. It was rebuilt as a slug mother in March 1993 and assigned to the Dallas Garland & NorthEastern 66. In 1996 it was transferred to the G-EXRR as 66 and renumbered 3834 in 1998.

3835, GP38AC, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1971, #35082, FN 5766-4, as Gulf Mobile & Ohio 724.  It became Illinois Central 9543 and sold to Helm Leasing Co assigned as HLCX 3677,  It was sold as GEXR 9543 and renumbered 3835.

3843, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1970, #36324, FN 7257-12, as Louisville & Nashville 4011, Class GP-38. It became Seaboard System 4011 and later renumbered as 6232, It later became CSX Transportation as 2141, Class GP-38, and later sold to North Carolina & Virginia as 5142.   It was renumbered 3843 in 1998 and transferred as Goderich-Exeter RR 3843 in 1999.

3856, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1969, #35183, FN 7185-20, as GM&O 720.  It became Illinois Central Gulf 9539 and sold as New England Central 9539.  It was transferred as G-EXRR 9539 and renumbered 3856 in 1998.

4019, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1966, #31888, FN 76901-20, as Norfolk & Western 1348.  It was sold to Railtex in 1998 as CORP 1348 and then transferred as G-EXRR 4019 in 1999.  It was retired in 2012 and rebuilt for Railpower by Juniata in January 2013, #RP178-001, as DNGO 142, RP20BD.

4022, GP40u, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1969, #34838, FN 7158-16, as B&O 3713, Class GP-40.  It was retired and became General American Transportation Co 3713 on May 17, 1984.  It was rebuilt at Livington Rebuild Center as BN 3077, Class GP-40G, on May 13, 1988, and returned as GATX 3077 on February 28, 1992.  It was leased as Missouri & Northern Arkansas 3077 in December 1992 and transferred as DGNO 3077 in September 1993.  It was transferred as CORP 3077 in August 1995 and transferred and renumbered as G-EXRR 4022 in November 1998.  It was transferred as  Cape Breton & Central Nova Scotia 4022 in June 1999 and renumbered 3022 in April 2013.

4046, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1968, #34089, FN 7102-13, as Missouri-Kansas-Texas 206. It became Union Pacific 512 on October 10, 1990, and sold to M&NA as 512 in December 1993. It later became VSO as 512 and later G-EXRR 4046.


Grand Rapids Eastern RR

It later was Virginia Southern Ry 178 in 1990 and later GRERR 178 and Godrich-Exeter RR 178 "Paulina". It then became Dallas Garland & NorthEastern RR in August 1997. Disposition has been lost.

3839, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1970, #36682, FN 7274-17, as Baltimore & Ohio 4806, Class GP-38.  It was later 2108 in 1986 and CSX Transportation 2108, Class GP-38, in 1987.  It was retired on May 26, 1993, and sold to C&F Locomotive Services on July 22, 1993.  It was sold thru Precision National Corp and sold as GRERR 5106 in November 1993.  It was renumbered 3839 in 1999.
