Bay Colony Ry

 

151, 25 Ton, was built by General Electric in September 1942, #15814, as New York Air Brake Co no number.  It was sold as BCLR 151 in September 1985 and resold as Railway Engineering & Supply Co in February 1995.

410, 44 Ton, was built by General Electric in September 1949, #30250, as Bath & Hammondsport D-1.  It was sold as Dansville & Mount Morris 2 in April 1971 and became Genesee & Wyoming 410 in 1985.  It was sold as Bay Colony Ry 410 in August 1986.  It was sold as Southern RR of New Jersey 410 on April 8, 1998, and scrapped in June 2012.

411, 44 Ton, was built by General Electric in October 1956, #32664, as D&MM 1.  It was sold as BCLR 411 in October 1986 and stored in 1995,   It was sold as Adrian & Blissfield RR 3 in February 1998 and assigned as Charlotte Southern RR 3.

1052, S2, was built by Alco in August 1945, #70244, as Portland Terminal RR 1052, Class DS-4b.  It was sold as BCLR 1052 in June 1982 and sold as Copperweld Steel Co 1052 in October 1995.  It was sold to Ohio Central RR and restored as New York Chicago & St Louis 84 in 2004.

1061, S4, was built by Alco in September 1950, #78235, as Delaware & Hudson 3041, Class DES-69.  It was reclassified Class S-10 in 1959 and sold as PTRR 1061, Class DS-4d, in January 1968.  It was sold as BCLR 1061 in February 1983.  It was retired in 1993 and scrapped in March 2004.

1062, S4, was built by Alco in September 1954, #81098, as Maine Central 316, Class DS-4d.  It was sold as BCRR 312 in September 1983 and renumbered 1062 in July 1984.  It was retired in 1994 and scrapped in February 1996.

1063, S4, was built by Alco in October 1950, #78406, as D&H 3047, Class DES-69.  It was reclassified Class S-10 in 1959 and sold as PTRR 1063, Class DS-4d, on January 12, 1968.  It was sold as BCLR 1063 in May 1983 and retired in September 1987.  It was scrapped in March 1991.

1064, RS1, was built by Alco in January 1952, #79580, as Genesee & Wyoming RR 25.  It was sold as BCLR 1064 in January 1985 and retired in October 1996.  It was sold for parts to Green Mountain RR in November 2000.

1501, GP7, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1953, #17843, FN 6491-1, as Detroit & Toledo Shore Line RR 50, Class ERS.  It was assigned as Grand Trunk Western 6050 but not renumbered.  It was sold to Chrome Crankshaft in June 1984 and resold as Indiana Midland Ry 50 in March 1985.  It was sold in March 1987 to Bay Colony RR as D&TSL 1501 but quickly repainted as BCLR 1501.  It was rebuilt as GP8 and renumbered 1750 "Gordon H Fay" in March 1996 and later renumbered 1701.

1702, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1957, #24237, FN 5570-21, as Pennsylvania RR 7205, Class EFS-17m.  It was reclassified as Class ERS-17 in 1966 and became Penn Central 7205, Class ERS-17, in 1968.  It became Consolidated Railroad Corp 7205, Class GP-9, in April 1976 and sold as Providence & Worcester RR 1702 in August 1982.  It was sold as BCLR 1702 in December 1996 and relettered in June 1997.  It was renumbered as Grafton & Upton RR 1750 in November 2009 and scrapped in August 2021.

1703, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1957, #22791, FN 5516-4, as Great Northern 716, Class GP-9.  It became Burlington Northern 1789, Class GP-9, in 1970 and retired in July 1983.  It was sold to Chrome Locomotive in September 1983 and sold as Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority 1923 in January 1984. It was sold as Cape Cod RR 1923 in January 1992 and renumbered 1789 in 1994.  It was leased as BCLR 1703 in May 1999.

1706, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1954, #19999, FN 5373-8, as Florida East Coast 658.  It was sold as BCLR 1706.

2501, C425, was built by Alco in May 1966, #3461-01, as Spokane Portland & Seattle 318. It became Burlington Northern 4258, Class C-425, in 1970. It was retired and sold to Chrome in August 1980, and then to Kyle RR as 4258. It was later sold to Arkansas & Missouri for parts.  It was sold as Massachusetts Central RR 4258 and sold as Shoreline Locomotive 2556.  It was sold as BCLR 2501 and transferred as Seminole Gulf RR 550.  It was sold as Western New York & Pennsylvania RR 428.

2443, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1952, #17434, FN 6465-A1, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 306L, Class 300.   It was renumbered 333L, Class 325 in March 24, 1973, and retired on September 30, 1976.  It was rebuilt at Cleburne on August 25, 1977, as 2443, Class 2417.  It was sold to Blue Mountain & Reading  on July 11, 1984 and sold as Massachusetts Central RR 2443 in September 1984.  It later was resold as Bay Colony Ry 2443 in January 1996.  It was sent to Grafton & Upton RR In April 2008 and repainted as GU 1500 in November 2009.  It was scrapped in August 2021.


Seminole Gulf Ry.

501, F9AM, built by Electro-Motive in January 1954, #18756, FN 3172-A5, as Chicago Milwaukee St Paul & Pacific 85C, Class 17.5E-F.  It was renumbered 128A in March 1974 and renumbered 126A.  It was retired in March 1977 and sold to Precision National Corp in August 1977.   It was rebuilt as Long Island RR 619, Class PC7, in November 1979.  It was sold as Seminole Gulf Ry 501 in September 1999.

502, F7AM, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1952, #16651, FN 3146-A10, as Baltimore & Ohio 955A, Class DF-5.  It was renumbered 4599, Class FE-3, in 1957, and was reclassified as Class F-7A in 1964.  It was sold to Morrison Knudsen in May 6, 1975, and sold to LIRR on October 23, 1980.  It was rebuilt at Morris Park as 621, Class PC-7, a power cab control car, on April 22, 1982, and sold as SGLR 502 in September 1999.

550, C425, was built by Alco in May 1966, #3461-01, as Spokane Portland & Seattle 318. It became Burlington Northern 4258, Class C-425, in 1970. 572, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1957, #23372, FN 5542-5, as Chesapeake & Ohio 6213, Class MRSE-17.  It became Class GP-9 in 1964 and was transferred as B&O 6213, Class GP-9, on September 8, 1978.  It was assigned as CSX 0213, Class GP-9, but retired on August 20, 1987.  It was sold as SGLR 572 in October 1987 and retired by July 2000.

573, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1956, #21532, FN 5448-34, as C&O 6042, Class MRSE-17.  It became Class GP-9 in 1964 and assigned as CSX 0352, Class GP-9.  It was retired in 1987 and sold as SGLR 573.

574, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1955, #21185, FN 5462-4, as C&O 6001, Class MRSE-17.  It became Class GP-9 in 1964 as sold as SGLR 574 in 1987.  It was wrecked.

575, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1956, #21492, FN 5448-6, as C&O 6014, Class MRSE-17.  It became Class GP-9 in 1964 and transferred as B&O 6014, Class GP-9, on May 12, 1978.  It was assigned as CSX 0331, Class GP-9, but retired in 1987.  It was sold as SGLR 575 in 1987.

576, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1956, #22420, FN 5490-9, as B&O 3421, Class PSE-2.  It was rebuilt as Class FSE-4 in June 1958 and renumbered 6614, Class GP9, in 1965.  It was assigned CSX 0614, Class GP-9, but retired in 1987.  It was sold as SGLR 576 in October 1987 and sold as Rail Switching Service 576 in 2011.

577, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1956, #22423, FN 5490-9, as B&O 3424, Class PSE-2.  It was rebuilt as Class FSE-4 in June 1958 and renumbered 6617, Class GP9, in 1965.  It was assigned CSX 0617, Class GP-9, but retired on September 18, 1987.  It was sold as SGLR 577 on October 19, 1987, and sold as RSSX 577 in 2011.

578, GP9u, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1957, #23827, FN 5553-38, as Illinois Central 9327.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8327 in April 1972 and sold as SGLR 578.

579, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1954, #20001, FN 5375-19, as Florida East Coast 660.  It was sold as SGLR 579 in 1987.

580, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1956, #19767, FN 5373-6, as FEC 656.  It was sold as SGLR 580 in 1987.

591, B39-8, was built by General Electric in March 1988, #45489, as LMX Corp 8580.  It was sold as Railway Equipment Leasing Co 8580 in June 2001 and sold as SGLR 8580 in 2007.  It was renumbered 591 in 2008.

592, B39-8, was built by General Electric in November 1987, #45424, as LMX 8515.  It was sold as Relco 8515 in June 2001 and sold as SGRL 8515 in 2007.  It was renumbered 592 in 2008.

6120, RDC1m, was built by Budd in May 1955, #6115, as Boston & Maine 6120.  It went to Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority 6120 in December 1976 and sold to SGLR as 6120.  It was depowered as a coach.
