Electro-Motive GP9 Diesels
7002, Class ES-17, was built in October 1955, #20706, FN 5408-3. It was later Penn Central 7002, Class ERS-17, in 1968 and Consolidated Railroad Corp 7002, Class GP-7, in April 1976. It was rebuilt at Paducah in 1978 as Conrail 7568, Class GP-10. It was later sold to Larry's Truck Equipment Co as 7568.
7010, Class ES-17, was built in October 1955, #20714, FN 5408-11. It became PC 7010, Class ERS-17, in 1968 and became Conrail 7010, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It became New Jersey Transit 7010 on December 2, 1976, and retired on October 9, 1984. It was scrapped in January 1985.
7012, Class ES-17, was built in October 1955, #20716, FN 5408-13. In 1968 it became PC 7012, Class ERS-17, and in April 1976 it became Conrail 7012, Class GP-9. It was traded in to General Electric in 1983 and sold to Naporano Iron & Metal for scrap.
7045, Class ES-17, was built in November 1955, #20749, FN 5408-46. It became PC 7045, Class ERS-17, and became Conrail 7045, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was scrapped at Hollidaysburg, PA.
7056, Class ES-17A, was built in October 1956, #21861, FN 5461-7. It became PC 7056, Class ERS-17A, in 1968 and later became Conrail 7056, Class GP-9. It was rebuilt at Paducah in 1978 as 7576, Class GP-10. It was sold as Southwest Pennsylvania RR 7576 and resold as Allegheny Valley RR 1801. It was sold as Ashland Ry 30.
7057, Class ES-17A, was built in October 1956, #21862, FN 5461-8. It became PC 7057, Class ERS-17A, in 1968 and later became Conrail 7057, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was rebuilt at Paducah in 1978 as Conrail 7559, Class GP-9. It was sold as AVR 7559 and renumbered 1802. It was sold as ASRY 31.
7063, Class ES-17A, was built in October 1956, #21868, FN 5461-14. It became PC 7063, Class ERS-17A, in 1968 and later became Conrail 7063, Class GP-9. It was rebuilt at Paducah in 1978 as 7570, Class GP-10. It was sold as Illinois Western RR 7570.
7065, Class ES-17A, was built in October 1956, #21870, FN 5461-16. It became PC 7065, Class ERS-17A, in 1968 and became Conrail 7065, Class GP-9. It became New Hampshire Northcoast 1756 and rebuilt.
7066, Class ES-17A, was built in October 1956, #21871, FN 5461-17. It became PC 7066, Class ERS-17A, in 1968 and later became Conrail 7066, Class GP-9. It was rebuilt at Paducah in 1978 as 7577, Class GP-10. It later became Archer-Daniels-Midland as 7577.
7073, Class ES-17A, was built in October 1956, #21878, FN 5461-23. It became PC 7073, Class ERS-17A, in 1968 and Conrail 7073, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was retired in May 3, 1988, and traded in to General Electric in 1968. It later was sold as Soo Line RR for parts in 1989.
7077, Class ES-17A, was built in November 1956, #21882, FN 5461-27. It became PC 7077, Class ERS-17A, in 1968 and Conrail 7077, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was traded in to General Electric in 1983 and sold to Naporano Iron & MetalCo.
7081, Class ES-17A, was built in November 1956, #21886, FN 55461-32. It became PC 7081, Class ERS-17A, in 1968 and became Conrail 7081, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was sold as NHNC 1758 and sold as Adrian & Blissfield RR 1758.
7116, Class ES-17A, was built in June 1957, #23316, FN 5541-12. It became PC 7116, Class ERS-17A, in 1968 and later became Conrail 7116, Class GP-9. in April 1976. It was retired on May 3, 1988, and sold to General Electric.
7125, Class ES-17A, was built in June 1957, #23325, FN 5541-21. It became PC 7125, Class ERS-17A, in 1968 and became Conrail 7125, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was sold as NHNC 1755 and sold as A&BRR 1755.
7130, Class ES-17A, was built in June 1957, #23330, FN 5541-26. It became PC 7130, Class ERS-17, in 1968 and later became Conrail 7130, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was rebuilt at Paducah in 1978 as 7567, Class GP-10. It later became ADM 7567.
7142, Class ES-17A, was built in June 1957, #24233, FN 5541-38. It became PC 7142, Class ERS-17, in 1968 and later became Conrail 7142, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was retired in September 25, 1990.
7163, Class ES-17, was built in November 1957, #23961, FN5569-19. It became PC 7163, Class ERS-17, in 1968 and became Conrail 7189, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in 1982 and scrapped.
7182, Class ES-17A, was built in November 1957, #23980, FN 5569-23. It became PC 7182, Class ERS-17, in 1968 and became Conrail 7182, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in 1982.
7189, Class ES-17, was built in November 1957, #24221, FN 5570-5. It became PC 7189, Class ERS-17, in 1968 and became Conrail 7189, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was traded in Electro-Motive. It was sold as Providence & Worcester 1701 in 1982 and sold as Quaboag Transfer Inc 1701 in 1984.
7191-B, Class EF-17b, was built in November 1957, #24268, FN 5570-B18. It was renumbered 3816 in 1966 and became PC 3817, Class ERS-17b. It later became Conrail 3816, Class GP-9, in April 1976 and was later scrapped.
7194-B, Class EF-17b, was built in November 1957, #24271, FN 5570-B20. It was renumbered 3819 in 1966 and became PC 3819, Class ERS-17b. It later became Conrail 3819, Class GP-9, in April 1976 and later scrapped.
7196, Class EFS-17m, was built in November 1957, #24228, FN 5570-12. It was reclassified as Class ERS-17 in 1966 and then PC 7196, Class ERS-17, in 1968. It then was Conrail 7196, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was scrapped.
7205, Class EF-17m, was built in November 1957, #24237, FN 5570-21. It was reclassified as Class ERS-17 in 1966 and became PC 7205, Class ERS-17, in 1968. It became Conrail 7205, Class GP-9, in April 1976 and sold as P&W 1702 in August 1982. It was sold as Bay Colony Ry 1702 in December 1996 and relettered in June 1997. It was renumbered as Grafton & Upton RR 1750 in November 2009 and scrapped in August 2021.
7210, Class EFS-17m, was built in November 1957, #24242, FN 5570-26. It was reclassified as Class ERS-17 in 1966 and became PC 7210, Class ERS-17, in 1968. It became Conrail 7210, Class GP-9, in April 1976 and was rebuilt at Paducah as 7515, Class GP-10, in 1978. It was sold as Maywood Co-op Association 7515.
7217, Class EFS-17m, was built in December 1957, #24249, FN 5570-33. It was reclassified as Class ERS-17 in 1966 and then PC 7217, Class ERS-17, in 1968. It then was Conrail 7217, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was scrapped.
7223, Class EFS-17m, was built in December 1957, #24255, FN 5570-38. It was reclassified as Class ERS-17 in 1966 and then PC 7223, Class ERS-17, in 1968, It then was Conrail 7223, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was scrapped.
7231, Class EFS-17m, was built in October 1959, #24283, FN 5556-2. It became PC 7231, Class ERS-17, in 1968 and Conrail 7231, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was rebuilt at Paducah in 1978 as 7584, Class GP-10, and sold as Kiamichi RR 1004.
7242, Class EFS-17m, was built in October 1959, #24294, FN 5556-13. It became PC 7242, Class ERS-17, in 1968 and Conrail 7242, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was sold as Pocono Northeast RR 7242 in 1982 and renumbered 1751 in 1982. It was became Luzerne & Susquehanna RR 1751 in 1994.
7244, Class EFS-17m, was built in October 1959, #24296, FN 5556-15. It became PC 7244, Class ERS-17, in 1968 and Conrail 7244, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was rebuilt at Paducah in January 1979 as 7585, Class GP-10, and retired in October 1995. It was sold to RMDI in April 1997 and sold as Ohio Central RR 7585, It was transferred as Rail Link 1706.
7260, Class EFS-17m, was built in November 1959, #24312, FN 5556-31. It became PC 7260, Class ERS-17, in 1968 and became Conrail 7260, Class GP-9, in April 1976. It was rebuilt as 7595, Class GP-10, and sold as OHCR 7595. It was sold as New York & Atlantic 202 in 1997 and transferred as Louisville & Indiana 202.
7262, Class EFS-17m, was built in November 1959, #24314, FN 5556-33. It was reclassified as Class ERS-17 in 1966 and then PC 7262, Class ERS-17, in 1968. It then was Conrail 7262, Class GP-9, in April 1976 and rebuilt at Precision National in 1977 as 7572, Class GP-10. It was later sold as Winchester & Western 572.
7265, Class EFS-17m, was built in November 1959, #24317, FN 5556-36. It was reclassified as Class ERS-17 in 1966 and then PC 7265, Class ERS-17, in 1968. It became Conrail 7265, Class GP-9, in April 1976 and rebuilt at Precision National in 1977 as 7575, Class GP-10. It was later sold as W&W 575.
