Sequatchie Valley RR

600, FP7A, was built by Electr-Motive in June 1950, #10323, FN 3050-A1, as Chicago Milwaukee St Paul & Pacific 90-A, Class 15E-P. It was renumbered and reclassified as 60-A, Class 15E-F,  in 1955. It was retired in May 1980 and donated to Webster Technical College in March 1984. They transferred it to Mountain Diesel in 1986.  It was sold as SVRR 600 and transferred as Walking Horse & Eastern RR 806.

690, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1959, #24842, FN 5586-27, as Norfolk & Western 690.  It was retired in April 1987 and sold to Steel Processing Services and to SVRR as 690.

706, GP7, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1952, #17030, FN 5197-6, as Western Pacific 706, Class RS-62.  It was assigned as Union Pacific  106, Class GP-7, in November 1983 but retired on March 18, 1985, without numbering.  It was sold to Mountain Diesel Transportation on July 15, 1987, and sold to SVRR as 706 by September 1990.

1201, SW1200RS, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1955, #20666, FN 4316-2, as Illinois Terminal RR 775.  It was renumbered 1201, Class ES-12, in 1967 and became N&W 1201 in November 1981.  It was retired August 1988 and sold as SVRR  1201

1210, SW1200RS, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1955, #20675, FN 4316-10, as ITRR 784.  It was renumbered 1210, Class ES-12, in 1967 and became N&W 1210 in November 1981,  It was sold to SVRR as 1210 in March 1988 and sold to Montiello Ry Museum in 2020.  It  will be restored as IT 784.

1686, NW2, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1948, #5130, FN E868-2, as Erie RR 405, Class SE-10b. In 1960 it became Erie Lackawanna 405, Class SE-10, and in April 1976 it became Consolidated Railroad Corp 9212, Class NW-2. It was sold to SVRR as 1686 on June 1, 1986.

2561, GP30, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1962, #27432, FN 5636-37, Southern Ry 2561.  It became Norfolk Southern 2561, Class GP30, and sold as SVRR 2561.  It was sold as Southern Alabama RR and sold as Knoxville & Holston River RR 2561.  It was sold as Waldens Ridge RR 2561 and sold to Vintage Locomotives Inc VLIX 2561.  It was sold to Southern Appalachian RR Museum and restored as Southern 2561.

4059, GP-30, was built in May 1963, #27753, FN 7657-2, as Louisville & Nashville 1030, Class GP-30.  It became Seaboard System 1361 and CSX Transportation 4059, Class GP-30, in 1987.  It resold as Sequatchi Valley Switching Co 4059 and resold as Pine Belt Southern  RR 3059.  It then went to Southern Alabama RR 3059 and then to Columbia & Silver Creek RR 3059.  It was acquired as Southern Appalachian RR Museum as 1030 and sent to Waldens Railroad RR as 1030.


Smoky Mountain Ry.

110 Was built by Baldwin in November 1911, #33463, as Little River RR 110.  It was sold as SMRy 110 in 1940 and sold to Terry Bloom in May 1972.  It was moved several times and now operates as Little River RR 110 in Coldwater, MI.

440, 44 Ton, was built by General Electric in September 1940, #12911, as Great Northern 5201.  It was renumbered 51 in 1943 and sold to Iron & Steel Products Co on January 17, 1948.  It was sold thru Bateson-Stolte to A J King Lumber Co as SMRy 440 on December 30, 1954.  It was stored after January 16, 1961, by White Transfer & Storage Co and sold to Walkersville Southern RR on December 6, 2017.

Southern Wood Processing Co.

3 was built by Alco-Cooke was built in January 1926 #66308, was not sold until March 1928.  It became SWPCo 3 and retired in 1965.  It went to Tennessee Valley RR Museum and sold to Age of Steam Roundhouse  in 1994.  It was lettered as Ohio Central RR 3 and then restored as SWPCo in 2020.


Tallassee Power Co.

10 was built by Lima on February 27, 1926, #3299.  It was sold as Nantahala Power & Light Co 10 and sold to Bemis Lumber Co as Graham County RR 1926 on September 16, 1940.  It was repaired in 1968 and renumbered 3229.  It was sold to Michael Miller in 1988 for parts and was sold to Cass Scenic RR for parts in 2007. 


Tennessee 200, Inc.

In 1996, Tennessee celebrated its bicentennial by operating an exhibit train called the "Spirit of Tennessee".

5794, E8A, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1952, #15659, FN 6354-A12, as Pennsylvania RR 5794A, Class EP-22. It was renumbered 4254 in 1966 and became Penn Central 4264, Class EP-22, in 1968. It later became Conrail 4264, Class E8A, in April 1976. It was sold as Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority 4254 and later was sold to a private owner.  It was sold to T200 as PPCX 5794 and sold to Gold Coast Museum as Florida East Coast 1594.

9913, E9A, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1956, #20540, FN 2071-A8, as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 9988B. It became Burlington Northern 9983, Class E9A, in 1970 and was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in October 1973 as 9913, Class E9AK. At the same time it was sold to West Suburban Mass Transit District and leased back to BN.  It was retired in October 1992 and acquired by Indiana Transportation Museum in September 1994.  It was sold to T200Ltd as PPCX 9913 and sold to Gold Coast Railway Museum as CB&Q 9913.

Tennessee Chemical Co.

2301, S2M, was built bu Alco in April 1943, #70235, as Louisville & Nashville 2201, Class S-80.  It was rebuilt as 2301 and sold as TC 2301.


Tennessee Railroad

36 was Baldwin in October 1914, #41742, as Atlanta Birmingham & Atlantic 105. It was renumbered 214, Class K-1, and later sold to Georgia Car & Locomotive Co. It was then sold to Tenn RR as 36. It was scrapped in 1957.

41 was built by Alco-Brooks in August 1912, #51663, as Chicago Indianapolis & Louisville 514, Class J-1.  It was sold as Tenn RR 41 in 1946 and scrapped in 1957.

1, RS1, was built by Alco in April 1943, #70811, as Atlanta & St Andrews Bay 905. It was sold to Tenn RR as 1 in July 1955 and became Southern Ry 1 in August 1973. It was sold to Birmingham Rail & Locomotive in November 1973 and then to South Carolina Public Service Administration as 1. It later went to Maryland & Delaware as 22 and to Arkansas & Missouri as 22, "J A Hannold".  It was donated to the National Museum of Transportation.

4, RS1, was built by Alco in October 1951, #79349, as Rutland RR 400, Class DRS-1. It was sold to Tenn RR as 4 in September 1956 and became SRy 4 when the Tenn was merged in August 1973. It was sold to BR&L in November 1973 and then to SCPSA as 4. It later went to Maryland & Delaware as 20 and then went to Arkansas & Missouri as 20, "Bruce Klink".

381, F40PH, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1981, #807050-21, FN 807050-21, as National Railway Passenger Corp 381.  It was sold as Cincinnati Ry 381 in 2004 and resold as Nashville & Eastern RR 381 in 2006.  It was sold as NRTX 381 in 2006.

8, S3, was built by Alco in January 1952, #79534, as Alcoa Terminal RR 8.  It was sold as Todco 8 in December 1985.


Waldens Ridge RR

1012, SW1, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1947, #4744, FN E827-2, as Southern Ry 2008. It was renumbered 1012 in December 1972 and retired in November 1994.  It was sold as Knoxville & Holston River RR 1012 and sold as WRRX 1012.

Walking Horse & Eastern RR

1, S1, was built by Alco in May 1941, 69486.  It was assigned as Proctor & Gamble Defense Corp 500 and then United States Army 7141.  It was transferred to Defense Logistic Agency as DSA 41002.  It was sold as Great River RR 8341 in 1980.
