1, compressed air, was built by H K Porter in November 1915, #5731, for a Cuban sugar plantation. It was returned to the US in 1921 and sold as New Orleans Orleans Sewerage & Water Board 1. It was retired and placed at Mel Ott Park in Gretna. It went to Louisiaina Steam Train Association and sold to ASR in 2015.
2 was built by Heisler Locomotive Works in March 1940, #54, as Columbus & Southern Ohio Electric Co 2. It was sold to Youngstown Model RR Assn in 1967 and resold to Old Express Restaurant, Sharon, PA. It was closed and sold to ASR in January 2018.
3 was built by Alco-Cooke was built in January 1926 #66308, was not sold until March 1928/ It became Southern Wood Processing Co 3 and retired in 1965. It went to Tennessee Valley RR Museum and sold to ASR in 1994. It was lettered as Ohio Central RR 3 and then restored as SWPCo in 2020.
4 was built by H K Porter in March 1919, #6369, as US Navy Fleet Supply Base, South Brooklyn 4. It was sold as Brooklyn Eastern District Terminal 13 in 1922 and sold to Rail Tours in October 1963. It was then sold to Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in 1977. It was decided as surplus in 2010 and donated to AOS.
12 was built by Alco-Pittsburg in September 1905, #37672, as Southern Ry 1643, Class A-7. It was sold in June 1952 as Morehead & North Fork Ry 12 and stored in a shed after 1975. Some people tried to set up a tourist line but failed. It was sold to ASR in December 2011.
13 was built by Alco-Brooks in January 1920, #61579, as Kelley’s Creek & Northwestern 6. It was sold to Buffalo Creek & Gauley as 13 in 1954 and then to South Penn Museum as 622 in 1964. It was then sold to Lake Shore RR Historical Foundation as 1977 in December 1976 and then to Logansport Iron Horse Festival in July 1983. It was sold as OCRR 13 in November 1992 and went to ASR.
14 was built by H K Porter Co in April 1897, #1726, as Carnegie Steel Co 14. It was transferred as U S Steel Co 727 and sold and displayed at Station Square, Pittsburgh, PA. When the area was reorganized and sold to Fred W Okie. It was donated to Borough of Sewickley, PA, as River Front Park 1996. It was concerned about safety and sold to ASR in 2013.
19 was built by Baldwin in April 1915, #42000, as Caddo & Choctaw RR 4 "R L Rowan". It became Choctaw River Lumber Co 4 and sold in 1924 as United Mining & Smelting Co 2069. It was resold again in 1924 as McCloud River RR 19. It was later sold to the Yreka Western RR as 19 in 1953 and in 1971 it became Oregon Pacific & Eastern 19. It was later returned to the YW in 1988 and sold to ASR in October 2016. It arrived in Ohio in June 2017.
33 was built by Baldwin in February 1918, #43108, as Munising Marquette & Southeastern RR 44. It became Lake Superior & Ishpeming 33 in 1924 and sold as Hocking Valley Scenic RR 33 in 1968. It was sold as OCRR 33 in 2003 and went to ASR.
96 was built by Canadian Locomotive Co in 1910, #937, as Grand Trunk 1024, Class E-8. It became Canadian National 926, Class E-10-a, in 1923 and renumbered 96 in 1951. It was sold to Steamtown in 1961 and planned for parts. When they moved it was sold to Horst Muller in 1986 and sold to Ohio Central in 1994. It went to ASR as GT 96.
401 was built by Baldwin in January 1928, #60341, as Alabama Tennessee & Northern 401. It later was sold to Woodward Iron Co. as their 41 in 1948. It was retired in June 1959 and sent to the MidContinent Railway Museum in 1965. It is displayed as AT&N 401. It was sold to ASR on December 29, 2015, and restored as AT&N 401.
643 was built by Baldwin in 1943, #70057, as Bessemer & Lake Erie 643, Class H-1H. It was sold to Glen Campbell in June 1983 and sold to ASR in July 2019.
1190 was built by Alco-Brooks in January 1904, #28753, as Buffalo Rochester & Pittsburgh 151, Class F3. It became Baltimore & Ohio 390, Class D-44, in January 1932 and renumbered 1190 in 1950. It was sold as Ohio River Sand & Gravel Co 1190 in 1953 and donated to City of New Martinsville, WV in 1963. It was donated to Mad River & Nickle Plate RR Museum in October 1978 and moved to Bellevue, OH, in March 1982. It was sold to Scott Syman at Dunkirk, NY, and purchased by ASR in November 2009.
1278 was built by Canadian Locomotive Co in April 1948, #2435, as Canadian Pacific 1278, Class G-5-d. It was sold to F Nelson Blount in 1965 and became Monadnock Steamtown & Northern 127. It was leased as Cadillac & Lake City RR 127 in June 1970 and returned to Steamtown in September 1971. It was renumbered 1278 in 1974 and sent to
Steamtown National Historic Site at Scranton in November 1984. It was sold as Gettysburg RR 1278 shortly but there was damaged when the crownsheet dropped on June 16, 1995. It was sold to ASR in 1998 and is awaiting restoration.1293 was built by Canadian Locomotive in June 1948, #2450, as CP 1293, Class G-5d. It was retired in January 1964 and acquired by Steamtown Foundation. It was sold to ASR in 1996.
1501, GP7, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1953, #17832, FN 5253-2, as Pittsburgh & Lake Erie 5736, Class DRSP-4m. It was renumbered and reclassed as 5929, Class ERS-15s, in 1966 and renumbered 1501 in December 1971. It was sold as Youngstown & Austintown 1501 and later transferred as OHCR 70. It was renumbered and repainted as 1501. It went to ASR.
1551 was built by Montreal Locomotive Co in March 1912, #50778, as Canadian Northern 1354. It became Canadian National 1354, Class H-6-g, in 1920 and was renumbered 1551 in October 1956. It was sold to Steamtown in September 1961 and resold as OHCR 1551 in January 1986. It went to ASR.
1802, H12-44, was built by Fairbanks Morse in March 1956, #12L1024, as Yankeetown Dock Corp 2. It was sold as North Carolina Ports RR 1802 in March 1996 and sold as Ohio Central RR 1802 in 2004. It went to ASR.
2630 was built by Baldwin in August, 1943, #69858, as U S Army 2630. It was renumbered 612 in 1954 and sent to the Cass Scenic RR in June 1972 but never used. It was sold in 2010 to Steam Services of America and sent to Southeastern Railroad Museum. It was sold to ASR in 2015 where it has been cosmetic restoration as 2630.
6325 was built by Schenectady-Alco in November 1942, #69631as Grand Trunk Western 6325, Class U-3-b. It was donated to the City of Battle Creek in October 1959 and placed on display. In 1985 a local group began restoration, but they were notified in 1992 that the locomotive would have to be moved. It was purchased by Jerry Jacobson and moved to the Ohio Central. Restoration began in 1998 and went back into operation as OC 6325 on July 1, 2001. It went to ASR in 2005.
