Steam Locomotives
When the B&LE was merged in 1901, many of the locomotives built before continued to have their older initials painted on their cabs.
7, Class E-4a, was built by Pittsburgh in February 1893, #1408, as Pittsburgh Shenango & Lake Erie 14. It became B&LE 7, Class E-4a, in 1901 and sold to SouthernIron & Equipment Co in 1926.
8, Class E-4a, was built by Pittsburgh in May 1893, #1411, as PS&LE 15. It became B&LE 8, Classs E-4a, in 1901 and sold to Southern Iron & Equipment Co in 1926..
125, Class C-1e, was built by Alco-Pittsburgh in 1907. It was sold to Cheswick & Harmar RR in 1930.
129, Class C-1e, was built by Alco-Pittsburgh in 1907. It was sold for scrap to United Iron & Metal Co in 1930.
155, Class C-3B, was built by Baldwin in 1909, #33371. It was sold for scrap to Briggs & Turivas in 1951.
157, Class C-3D, was buiilt by Baldwin in 1911, #36561. It was sold for scrap to Pittsburgh Ferrous Products in 1953.
227, Class S-2D, was built by Baldwin in 1911, #36502. It was scrapped at the Greenville B&LE shop in 1952.
228, Class S-2D, was built by Baldwin in 1911, #36503.
231, Class S-2A, was built by Pittsburg in 1899, #1948, as Pittsburgh Bessemer & Lake Erie 10. It became B&LE 231, Class S-2A, in 1900 and sold on January 28, 1937, to Etna & Montrose RR.
352, Class C-2C, was built by Pittsburgh in June 1911, #49971, Class C-2C. It became Unity 352 in 1944 and was scrapped in 1952.
511, Class D-1A, was built by Baldwin in August 1916, #44134 It was sold for scrap to United Iron & Metal Co in 1951.
520, Class D-1A, was built by Baldwin in October 1916, #44208. It was sold for scrap to United Iron & Metal Co in 1948.
523, Class D-2A, was built by Baldwin in 1919, #51959, It was sold for scrap to Briggs & Turivas.
601, Class H-1A, was built by Baldwin in 1929, #61912.
605, Class H-1B, was built by Baldwin in March 1930, #61266. It was sold for scrap to Pittsburgh Ferrous Products in 1952.
621, Class H-1D, was built by Alco in 1937, #68891, and became Duluth Missabe & Iron Range 700, Class E-4, in 1951.
623, Class H-1D, was built by Alco in 1937, #68893, and became DM&IR 702, Class E-4, in 1951.
627, Class H-1D, was built by Alco in 1937, #68897, and became DM&IR 706, Class E-4, in 1951.
629, Class H-1D, was built by Alco in 1937, #68899, and became DM&IR 708, Class E-4, in 1951.
635, Class H-1E, was built by Baldwin in 1941, #64154, and became DM&IR 711 Class E-5, in 1951.
641, Class H-1G, was built by Baldwin in 1943, #64721, and became DM&IR 714, Class E-7, in 1951.
643, Class H-1H, was built by Baldwin in 1943, #70057. It was sold to Glen Campbell in June 1983 and sold to Age of Steam Roundhouse in July 2019.
647, Class H-1H, was built by Baldwin in 1943, #70060, and became DM&IR 717, Class H-1H, in 1951.
