Nashville & Eastern RR

 

381, F40PH, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1981, #807050-21, FN 807050-21, as National Railway Passenger Corp 381.  It was sold as Cincinnati Ry 381 in 2004 and resold as NERR 381 in 2006.  It was sold as Tennessee Regional Transportation Authority as NRTX 381 in 2006.

568, B40-8W, was built by General Electric in March 1992, #46914, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 568, Class 500.  It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 568, Class Dash8-40BW, in March 2003 and retired on October 12, 2010.  It was sold as NERR 568.

573, B40-8W, was built by General Electric in March 1992, #46919, as AT&SF 573, Class 500.  It became BNSF 573, Class Dash8-40BW in September 2000 and retired on October 12, 2010.  It was sold as NERR 573.

574, B40-8W, was built by General Electric in March 1992, #46920, as AT&SF 574, Class 500.  It became BNSF 574, Class Dash8-40BW, in March 2003 and retired on October 12, 2010.  It was sold as NERR 574 and named "City of Lebanon" in April 2011.

579, B40-8W, was built by General Electric in March 1992, #46925, as AT&SF 579, Class 500.  It became BNSF 579, Class Dash8-40BW, in March 2003 and retired on October 12, 2010.  It was sold as NERR 579.

1801, RSD12, was built by Alco in April 1956, #81953, as Lake Superior & Ishpeming 1801.  It was sold as N&E 1801 in May 1989 and transferred as West Tennessee RR 1801 in 1991

1850, RSD12, was built by Alco in April 1956, #81943, as Chesapeake & Ohio 6700, Class MRSA-18.  It was reclassified as Class RSD12 in 1964 and renumbered 2007 in 1967.  It was transferred as Baltimore & Ohio 2007, Class RSD12, on September 12, 1969, and sold as Lasco Development Co 2007 on March 3, 1972.  It was transferred as LS&I 1800 in 1973 amd renumbered 1850 in 1978.  It was sold as N&E 1850 in May 1989 and transferred as WTRR 1850 in 1990.  It was retired in 1994.

1852, RSD12, was built by Alco in April 1956, #81945, as C&O 6702, Class MRSA-18.  It was reclassified as Class RSD12 in 1964 and renumbered 2009 in 1967.  It was transferred as B&O 2009, Class RSD12, on September 12, 1969, and sold as Lasco 2009 on March 3, 1972.  It was transferred as LS&I 1806 in 1973 and renumbered 1852 in 1978.  It was sold as N&E 1852 in May 1989 and transferred as WTRR 1852 in 1990.

1975, B23-7, was built by General Electric in April 197, #42313, as Consolidated Railroad Corp 1975, Class B23-7.  It was sold as Nashville & Eastern RR 1975 and sold to Progress Rail Services as PRSX 1975.

2475, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1951, #13735, FN 3095-A9, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 263L, Class 200, an F7A. It was retired on November 8, 1974, and was rebuilt at Cleburne as 2475, Class 2417, in October 1976. It was later sold to Tennken RR as 2475 and later as N&E as 2475. It was again sold as Rail Link 475.  It was transferred as Corpus Christi Terminal RR 475.

2477, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1949, #8937, FN 1234-A18, as AT&SF 225C, Class 200, an F7A.  It was rebuilt at Cleburne in July 1976 as 2477, Class 2417.  It was sold as TKEN 2477 and sold as NERR 2477.  It was sold as RLIX 477 and assigned as Carolina & Northwestern RR 477.  It was sold to Joseph Transportation Co as JTPX 477 and scrapped in 2005.

2517, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1949, #8307, FN E1216-A7, as AT&SF 40L, Class 37, an F7A  It was renumbered 315L, Class 300, on June 15, 1951, and retired on March 12, 1974.  It was rebuilt by Cleburne as 2517, Class 2417, in June 1974.  It was retired in August 1986 and sold as TKEN 2517 and transferred as N&E as 2517 in September 1986.  It was resold as R-L 517 and sold as Commonwealth Ry 517.  It was returned as RLTX 517.

2523, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1953, #18927, FN 6523-A17, as AT&SF 277L, Class 200, an F7A. It was retired on January 30, 1974, and was rebuilt at Cleburne as 2523, Class 2417, in April 1974. It was sold to Tennken RR as 2523 and later as N&E as 2523. It was again sold as R-L 523.

2536, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1951, #13707, FN 3078-A1, as AT&SF 242L, Class 200, an F7A.  It was rebuilt at Cleburne in January 1974 as 2536, Class 2417, and sold as Tennken RR 2536.  It was sold as N&E 2536 and was again sold as R-L 536.  It was sold to DTE Transportation Services Ltd as 536 and resold as Farmland Services Cooperative 1.

2547, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1950, #9585, FN 3020-A9, as AT&SF 231L, Class 200, and F7A.  It was rebuilt at Cleburne on October 25, 1973, as 2547, Class 2417, and sold as Tennken RR 2547 on August 5, 1986.  It was sold as N&E 2547 in September 1986 and was again sold as R-L 547.  It was transferred as CCTR 547.

2553, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1951, #13798, FN 3084-A12, as AT&SF 257C, Class 200, an F7A. It was retired on January 14, 1973, and was rebuilt at Cleburne as 2553, Class 2417, in September 1973. It was sold to Tennken RR as 2553 and later as N&E as 2553. It was again sold as R-L 553 and then DTE as 553.

2555, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1949, #7756, FN 3084-A12, as AT&SF 207L, Class 200, an F7A.  It was rebuilt at Cleburne on August 13, 1973, as 2555, Class 2417, and sold as Tennken RR as 2555.  It was sold as NERR as 2555 and resold as R-L 555.

3927, U23B, was built by General Electric in May 1974, #39633, as Southern Ry 3927.  It was sold as NERR 3927 and sold to Haines & Kibblehouse Inc as HKGX 3927 in 2006.

4217, B23-7, was built by General Electric in April 1979, #41683, as AT&SF 6360, Class 6350.  It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 4217, Class B23-7, on December 30, 1999, and sold as NERR 4217 in June 2007.

4234, B23-7, was built by General Electric in June 1979, #42423, as AT&SF 6377, Class 6364.  It was renumbered 7211, Class 7200, in 1988 and renumbered 6377, Class 6364, in September 1989.  It became BNSF 4234, Class B23-7, on January 9, 2000, and sold as NERR 4234 in 2007.  It was transferred as Nashville & Western 4234 in 2010.

5772, U36B, was built by General Electric in October 1971, #38044, as Seaboard Coast Line 1822.  It became Seaboard System 1822 in January 1983 and renumbered 5772 in 1984.  It became CSX Transportation 5772, Class U36B, in April 1986 and sold as NERR 5772.  It was scrapped in December 2013.

8463, GP7u, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1950, #12301, FN 5006-7, as Clinchfield RR 906.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as Illinois Central Gulf 8463 in September 1976 and sold as NERR as 8463 on January 11, 1993.  It was sold as Brownsville & Rio Grande International RR 8463.

8572, B39-8, was built by General Electric in March 1099, #45481, as LMX Corp 8572.  It was sold as Railway Equipment Leasing Co 8572 in June 2001 and sold as CIT Financial Group 8572.  It was sold as National Railway Equipment Co 8572 and sold as NERRE 8572 in 2005.

8596, B39-8, was built by General Electric in April 1988, #45505, as LMX 8596.  It was sold as NRE 8596 and sold as N&E 8596 and resold as San Luis & Rio Grande RR 8596.

9910, E9Au, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1955, 20534, FN 2071-A2, as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 9985-B.  It became Burlington Northern 9980, Class E-9, in 1970 and was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in March 1973 as 9910, Class E9AK.  It was sold to West Suburban Mass Transit District and leased back to BN.  It was retired in July 1992 and sold as as N&E 9910.  It was sold as Larry's Truck Equipment Co 9910 in 2005.

9912, E9Au, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1955, #20538, FN 2071-A6, as CB&Q 9987-B.  It became BN 9982, Class E-9, in 1970 and was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in October 1973 as 9912, Class E9AK.  It was sold to West Suburban Mass Transit District and leased back to BN.  It was retired in July 1992 and sold as N&E 9912.

9917, E9Au, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1955, #20537, FN 2071-A5, as CB&Q 9987-A.  It became BN 9987, Class E-9, in 1970 and was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in November 1973 as 9917, Class E9AK.  It was sold to West Suburban Mass Transit District and leased back to BN.  It was retired in July 1992 and sold as N&E 9917.  It was sold as LTE 9917 in 2005.

9925, E9Au, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1954, #19634, FN 2065-A6, as CB&Q 9995.  It became BN 9995, Class E-9, in 1970.  It was rebuilt by Morrison in June 1973 and renumbered 9925, Class E9AK.  It was sold to West Suburban Mass Transit District and leased back to BN.  It was retired in July 1992 and sold as N&E 9925.  It was sold as LTEX 9925 in 2005 and sold as San Luis and Rio Grande RR 9925 in 2012.


Nashville & Western RR

3901, U23B, was built by General Electric in May 1972, #38393, as Southern Ry 3901.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co in October 1996 and sold as NWR 3901.

4234, B23-7, was built by General Electric in June 1979, #42423, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 6377, Class 6364.  It was renumbered 7211, Class 7200, in 1988 and renumbered 6377, Class 6364, in September 1989.  It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 4234, Class B23-7, on January 9, 2000, and sold as Nashville & Eastern 4234 in 2007.  It was transferred as NWR 4234 in 2010.
