1 was built by Alco-Cooke in 1924, #65477, for stock.  It was sold as James Stone Co 1 in April 1929 and resold as Western Indiana Aggregate Co 1 in 1930.  It was sold as Society for the Perpetuation of Unretired Railfans 1 in October 1966 and became M&SVR in April 1969.

31, RS1325, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1960, #25774, FN 4438-2, as Chicago & Illinois Midland 31, Class RS 1325.   It was resold as Illinois & Midland RR in 1996.  It was sold to Larry's Truck & Electric in October 2020 and resold to M&SVR in November 2020.

44 (44 Ton) was built by Davenport in 1940, #2301, for Morrell Meat Packing Co. It was sold as Lincoln Sand & Gravel Co 44.  In 1975 it was donated to the M&SV

53 was built by St Louis Car Co in 1947, #1737, as Chicago Rapid Transit 5003.  It became Chicago Transit Authority 5003 in 1948.  It was renumbered 53 in 1963 and named ""The Minutemen" temporarily in 1976.  It was acquired by M&SV in 1986.

191 was built by Alco-Schenectady in 1916, #55995, as Central Steel Co 3 and became Republic Steel Co 3.  It was renumbered 191 in 1940 and sold to Preston Duffy & Son in 1966.  It sold to J David Conrad in July 1969 and sold to M&SV in October 1969.  It made it to Illinois in March 1971.

401, Class H-4, was built by Baldwin in December 1907, #32487, as Southern Ry 401.  It was sold as Alabama Asphaltic Limestone Co 401 in November 1949 and sold to SPUR (Society of the Perpetual of Unretired Railfans) in 1967.  It became Monticello & Sangamon Valley Railroad Historical Society in 1969 and renamed Monticello Railway Museum in 1982.

704, RS3, was built by Alco in September 1955, #81359, as Long Island RR 1559, Class AGP-15msc.  It was sold as Gettysburg RR 1559 and resold as Maryland Midland RR 301.  It was sold as M&SV 301 and restored as Illinois Central RR 704.

784, SW1200RS, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1955, #20675, FN 4316-10, as Illinois Terminal RR784.  It was renumbered 1210, Class ES-12, in 1967 and became  Norfolk & Western 1210 in November 1981,  It was sold to Sequatchie Valley RR as 1210 in March 1988 and sold to MSV in 2020.   It  will be restored as IT 784.

1189, F7A, was built by General Motors in April 1953, #A487, FN C157-1, as Wabash RR 1189, Class D-15.  It was renumbered 725 in 1960 and became Norfolk & Western 3725 in 1965.   It was retired September 1979 and donated to MRM in 1982. and restored as Wabash 1189 in 1992.  It was rebuilt by Norfolk Southern in 2014.

6789, FPA4, was built by Montreal in April 1959, #83167. as Canadian National 6789, Class MPA-18b.  It became Via Rail Canada 6789, Class MPA-18b, in March 1978, and retired in March 1994.  It was acquired by MRM in 1994.

6862, FPB4, Class MPB-18a, was built by Montreal in November 1958, #82440, as CNR 6862, Class MPB-18a.  It later beca,e Via Rail 6862, Class MPB-18a, and retired in 1989.  It was acquired by a private ownere in 1995.  It was later acquired by MRM.

9838, RP-A4U, was rebuilt by Southeasern Specialties  from Alco as a Southern RS3.  It was acquired by MRM.
