600, Class GP40. was built in September 1966, #32232, FN 7926-1, as Chicago Rock Island & Pacific 340. It became UP 600 on April 16, 1980, and later became Missouri Pacific 600 on June 7, 1985. It was retired June 5, 1991, and sold to National Railway Equipment Co on October 9, 1991. It was rebuilt as Nebraska Central RR 4204, GP38MAC, in 1993 and sold to Farmrail Corp as FMRC 4204 in December 2011.
603, Class GP40, was built in September 1966, #32235, FN 7926-4, as CRI&P 343. It became UP 603 on April 7, 1980, and transferred as MP 603 on September 6, 1985. It was retired on October 6, 1988, and sold to Wilson Ry in November 1988. It was sold as Intermountain Transportation Services 301 in 1989 and sold to Helm Leasing Co as HLCX 301. It was rebuilt by AMF as HLCX 4003 on February 3, 1985. It was leased as Transportacion Ferroviaria Mexicana 1157 after April 1997 and returned as HLCX 4003.
604, Class GP40, was built in September 1966, #32237, FN 7926-5, as CRI&P 344. It became UP 604 on April 8, 1980, and later became MP 604 on April 15, 1985. It was retired August 10, 1987, and sold to Morrison-Knudsen on October 28, 1987. It was rebuilt and became Metro-North Commuter RR 4186 on August 27, 1988.
605, Class GP40, was built in September 1966, #32238, FN 7926-6, as CRI&P 345. It became UP 605 on March 10, 1981, and later became UP 605 on April 18, 1985. It was retired October 23. 1991. and sold to Helm Financial on March 17, 1993.
606, Class GP40, was built in September 1966, #32239, FN 7926-8, as CRI&P 346. It became UP 606, Class GP40, on April 3, 1980, and later became MP 606 on November 24, 1984. It was retired August 10, 1987, and sold to Morrison Knudsen on October 28, 1987. It was rebuilt and became New Jersey Transit 4140, GP40FH-2, on May 31, 1989.
610, Class GP40, was built in September 1966, #32243, FN 7926-12, as CRI&P 350. It became UP 610, Class GP40, on April 6, 1980. It was retired August 10, 1987, and sold to Morrison-Knudsen on October 28, 1987. It was rebuilt and became MNCRR 4184 on May 18, 1988.
614, Class GP40, was built in September 1966, #32246, FN 7926-16, as CRI&P 354. It became UP UP 614, Class GP40, on April 3, 1980, and retired on August 10, 1987. It was sold to Morrison Knudsen on October 28, 1987 and rebuilt as NJT 4144, GP40FH-2, in June 1989.
616, Class GP40 was built on October 1966, #32248, FN 7926-18, as CRI&P 356, It became UP 616, Class GP40, on April 7, 1980, as later MP 616 on April 19, 1985. It was wrecked and retired on February 6, 1990, and scrapped.
622, Class GP40, was built on December 1966, #32590, FN 7942-3, as CRI&P 364. It became UP 622 on April 7, 1980, and later MP 622 on March 11, 1985. It was retired October 9, 1992, and became NRE on March 17, 1993. It became Dakota Minnesota & Eastern 4004 "City of Dodge Center" on September 1994. It was rebuilt on June 29, 1997, as GP40-3.
628, Class GP40, was built in December 1966, #32597, FN 7942-9, as CRI&P 371. It became UP 628 on April 12, 1980, and then to MP 628 on November 16, 1984. It was retired and sold to Morrison Knudsen on August 10, 1987. It was rebuilt by MK on November 5, 1990, as St Louis South-Western 7274. It was assigned UP 5391 in September 1997 and reassigned 1491 in December 1999.
629, Class GP40, was built in December 1966, #32598, FN 7942-11, as CRI&P 372. It became UP 629 on April 1, 1980, and then to MP 629 on October 9, 1984. It was retired on April 10, 1987, and sold to Morrison Knudsen on October 28, 1987. It was rebuilt as MNCRR 4188 on October 30, 1990.
631, Class GP40, was built in March 1970, #36386, FN 7263-1, as CRI&P 4700. It became UP 631 in June 1983 and later MP 631 in November 9, 1989. It was retired October 8, 1992, and became NRE in March 17, 1993. It later became DM&E 4005 "City of Ft Pierre" in September 1994 and rebuilt in 1999 as 4005 "Larry Pressler".
632, Class GP40, was built in March 1970, #36387, FN 7263-2, as CRI&P 4701. It became UP 632 in April 2, 1980, and later MP 632 on July 26, 1985. It was retired May 29, 1992, and became NRE in March 17, 1993. It later became M&NA 632.
636, Class GP40, as built in March 1970, #36391, FN 7263-6, as CRI&P 4705. It became UP 636 on April 3, 1980, and retired on October 23, 1991. It was sold to NRE on March 17, 1993. They sold it to M&NA as 636 in 1993 and renumbered 4014.
637, Class GP40, was built in March 1970, #36392, FN 7263-7, as CRI&P 4706. It became UP 637 on April 14, 1980, and later MP 637 on May 10, 1985. It was retired October 26, 1988, and became VMV Enterprises on January 28, 1989. It then became Helm Leasing on 1989 and then UP 856 on July 14, 1989. It was rebuilt as GP38-2 by Boise in July 1998 as UP 2533 on July 25, 1993. It then as UP 1033 on August 27, 2001.
639, Class GP40, was built in March 1970, #37394, FN 7263-9, as CRI&P 4708. It became UP 639 on April 5, 1980, and MP 639 on September 23, 1985. It was retired on October 23, 1991, and sold to Helm Financial on March 27, 1992.
640, Class GP40, was built in March 1970, #36395, FN 7263-10, as CRI&P 4709. It became UP 640 on April 23, 1980, and retired on October 23. 1991. It was sold to NRE on 17 March 1993 and sold to Railtex as MN&A 640. It was renumbered 4015.
642, Class GP40, was built in April 1970, #36397, FN 7263-12, as CRI&P 4711. It was assigned as UP 642 and became MP 642 on June 5, 1985, and stored as UP 642 in March 1990. It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co on March 17, 1993, and sold as M&NA 642. It was renumbered 4012.
643, Class GP40, was built in April 1970, #36398, FN 7263-13, as CRI&P 4712, It became UP 643 on April 29, 1980, and retired on August 21, 1991, It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co on October 9, 1991, and sold to Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern 4002 "City of New Richland" in September 1994.
645, Class GP40, was built in April 1970, #36400, FN 7263-15, as CRI&P 4714. It became UP 645 on April 4, 1980, and later MP 645 on February 20, 1985, and later UP 645 on January 25, 1990. It was retired on October 23, 1993, and became NRE on March 17, 1993. It became M&NA 645 and renumbered 4045.
646, Class GP40, was built in April 1970, #36401, FN 7263-16, as CRI&P 4715. It became UP 646 on April 10, 1980, and retired on August 10, 1987. It was sold to Morrison Knudsen and rebuilt as a GP40FH-2 New Jersey Transit 4141 on May 19, 1989.
651, Class GP40. was built in May 1966, #31662, FN 7378-1, as Western Pacific 3501, Class RS-68. It became Union Pacific 651, Class GP-40, on December 30, 1983, and transferred as Missouri Pacific 651 on May 22, 1985. It was returned as UP 651 on April 17, 1988, and retired on April 5, 1993. It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as Kansas City Southern 4765 on November 12, 1993, GP40-3. It was renumbered 2806 in 2005.

It was sold to Morrison Knudsen in July 1990 and rebuilt as St Louis Southwestern 7277, GP40M-2, on November 12, 1990. It became UP 1494, Class GP40M-2, on October 17, 2005. It was reclassified as GP40N in August 2019.
2nd 667, Class GP40, was built in August 1968, #34283, FN 7127-2, as PC 3106, Class EF-30. It became Conrail 3106, Class GP-40, in April 1972 and sold as MKT 3106 in 1983. It was renumbered 232 in 1983 and became UP 667, Class GP-40, on June 19, 1990. It was assigned as 9951 but retired on May 12, 2000. It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co.
(668), Class GP40, was built in August 1970, #36826, FN 7272-3, as WP 3519, Class RS-68. It was assigned Union Pacific as 668 and retired on August 31, 1985. It was returned to Helm Financial Corp, and in April 1987 it became Chicago Missouri & Western 3002. It became Gateway Western 3002 in January 1990. It was sold to Wilson Ry Corp in September 1990 and then to Wisconsin Central Ltd as 3002 in December 1990.

It was returned to Helm Financial Corp, and in April 1987 it became CM&W 3003. It became GW in January 1990. It was sold to Wilson Ry Corp in September 1990 and then to WCLtd as 3003 in December 1990. It was retired on December 17, 2006, and sold.
1st (670), Class GP40, was built in August 1970, #36828, FN 7272-5, as WP 3521, Class RS-68. It was assigned UP as 670, Class GP-40, and retired on August 20, 1985. It was returned to Helm Financial Corp, and in April 1987 it became CM&W 3004. It became GW 3004 in January 1990, It was sold to Wilson Ry Corp in September 1990 and then to WCLtd as 3004 in December 1990. It was sold to Canon City & Royal Gorge RR as CRRX 3104.
2nd 670, Class GP40, was built in August 1968, #34286, FN 7127-7, as Penn Central 3109, Class EF-30. It became Consolidated Railroad Corp 3109, Class GP-40, in April 1976, as Missouri-Kansas-Texas in 3109 as 1983. It was renamed as 235 in 1983 and then as UP 670, Class GP-40, in 1989. It was retired on April 18, 2000, and was renumbered 9953 on April 27, 2000, before it was removed.
(671), Class GP40, was built in August 1970, #36783, FN 7272-1, as WP 3522, Class RS-68. It was assigned UP as 671 and retired on August 31, 1985. Iit was returned to Helm and in April 1987 it became CM&W 3005. It became GW 3005 in January 1990. It was sold to Wilson in September 1990 and then to WCLtd as 3005 in December 1990. It sold to Progress Rail as PRLX 3005 in 2008

It was renumbered as 237 in 1983 and then as UP as 672 in September 15, 1989. It was renumbered as 9955 on September 20, 2002, and renumbered 1337 on July 31, 2008. It was sold to Larry's Truck Equipment in July 2010 and rebuilt to GP40-3 as Ann Arbor RR 1337 in November 2011. It was sold to Webb Asset Management Co as WAMX 4049.
(673), Class GP40, was built in August 1970, #36785, FN 7272-3, as WP 3524, Class RS-68. It was assigned UP as 673 and retired on August 20, 1985. It was returned to Helm and in April 1987 it became CM&W 3007. It became GW 3007 in January 1990. It was sold to Wilson in September 1990 and then to WCLtd as 3007 in November 1990.

It was renumbered 241 in 1984 and became UP 676, Class GP40, on May 1, 1990. It was retired on May 25, 2001, and sold to National Railway Equipment Co. It was rebuilt in 2006 as Burlington Northern Santa Fe 2009, Class GP38-2.

It was renumbered 244 in 1984 and became UP 679 on July 13, 1989. It was renumbered 9961 on March 13, 2000, and retired on May 25, 2001. It was sold as NREX 9961 and rebuilt in 2006 as BNSF 2007, Class GP38-2.

It was returned to Helm and in April 1987 it became CM&W 3015. It became GW 3015 in January 1990 and sold to Wilson in September 1990. It was sold to WCLtd as 3015 in November 1990 and was wrecked at Green Bay on January 24, 1995.
2nd 680, Class GP40, was built in September 1968, #34321, FN 7127-40, as PC 3144, Class EF-30. It became Conrail 3144, Class GP-40, in April 1976 and sold as MKT 3144 in 1983. It was renumbered 245 in 1984 and became UP 680, Class GP-40, on September 6, 1990. It was renumbered 9962 on March 28, 2000, and retired on February 7, 2001. It was sold as NREX 9962 and rebuilt as BNSF 2003, Class GP38-2, in May 2006.
1st 681, Class GP40, was built in August 1971, #37844, FN 7332-7, as WP 3533, Class RS-68. It became UP 681, Class GP40, in August 1985, and retired in September 30, 1986. It was returned to Helm and in April 1987 it became CM&W 3016. It became GW 3016 in January 1990. It was sold to Morrison Knudsen in July 1990 and rebuilt as SSW 7279, GP40M-2, on November 30, 1990. It was assigned 1496, Class GP40M-2, but apparently never done.
2nd 681, Class GP40, was built in September 1968, #34329, FN 7127-48, as PC 3152, Class EF-30. It became CR 3152, Class GP-40, as April 1976, as MKT in 3152 in 1983. It was renamed as 246 and then as UP as 681 in February 1, 1991. It was retired in April 14, 2000, and became Sharpsville Container Co 681.
(682), Class GP40, was built in August 1971, #37845, FN 7332-8, as WP 3534, Class RS-68. It was assigned UP as 682 and retired on September 30, 1986. It was returned to Helm and in April 1987 it became CM&W as 3017. It became GW 3017 in January 1990 and sold to Wilson in September 1990. It was sold to WCLtd as 3017 in November 1990.

It was renamed as 231 in 1983 and then as UP 666, Class GP-40, in July 12, 1989. It was renumbered 684 on April 3, 1993. It was renumbered 9966 on July 24, 2000, and retired on May 25, 2001. It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co and rebuilt on June 20, 2006, as BNSF 2006, Class GP38-2.

It was assigned as UP 5397 in September 1997 and became UP 1497 on August 6, 2004.

It was assigned as UP 688, Class GP40, and retired on September 30, 1986. It was returned to Helm and in April 1987 it became CM&W 3023. It became GW 3023 in January 1990. It was sold to Wilson in September 1990 and then to WCLtd as 3023 in December 1990. It was sold to Progress Rail Services and leased to Harbor Rail Services as HRSX 3002.

It was returned to Helm and in April 1987 it became CM&W 3025. It became GW 3025 in January 1990 and sold to Wilson in September 1990. It was sold as WCLtd as 3025 in December 1990 and retired on February 15, 2008. It was sold to Rail & Motor International Ltd as RIMX 3025 in 2008 and sold to Montana Rail Link as 3025 in July 2009. It was outshopped as 500 in September 2014.
(691), Class GP40, was built in September 1971, #37855, FN 7332-18, as WP 3544, Class RS-68. It was assigned as UP 691, Class GP40, and retired on September 30, 1986. It was returned to Helm and in April 1987 it became CM&W 3010. It became GW 3010 in January 1990. It was sold to Morrison Knudsen in 1990 and rebuilt on November 30, 1990 as SSW 7276. It was assigned as UP 5395, Class GP40M-2, in September 1997 and became UP 1495 on October 29, 2003.
691, Class GP40, was built in December 1965, 30953, FN 7831-17, as New York Central 3016, Class DRS-16a. It became Class EF-30 in 1966. It became Penn Central 3016, Class EF-30, in 1968, and Consolidated Railroad Corp 3016, Class GP-40, in April 1976. It was sold to Precision National Corp in July 1980 and as Chicago & North Western 5506 in July 1981. It becamr as Union Pacific 637, Class GP40, on May 9, 1996 and became UP 691 on July 23, 1997. It was renumbered 9968 on June 14, 2000. amd retired on June 20, 2001. It was sold at National Railway Equipment Co NREX 9968 and rebuilt as Coos Bay Rail Line 2018. GP38-2.
(693), Class GP40, was built in December 1965, #30955, FN 7831-19, as New York Central 3018, Class EF-30. It became Penn Central 3018, Class EF-30, in 1968, and Consolidated Railroad Corp 3018, Class GP-40, in April 1976. It was sold to Precision National Corp in July 1980 and as Chicago & North Western 5508 in July 1981. It was assigned as UP 639 in August 1995 and reassigned 693 in December 1997 but retired on May 15, 2000. It was sold and rebuilt as Paducah & Louisville 2115.
(695), Class GP40, was built in December 1965, #30957, FN 7831-21, as NYC 3020, Class EF-30, It became PC 3020, Class EF-30, in 1968, and Conrail 3020, Class GP-40, in April 1976. It was sold to Precision National Corp in July 1980 and as C&NW 5510 in July 1981. It was assigned as UP 641 in August 1995 and reassigned 695 in December 1997 but retired on July 25, 2000.
