4, SW8, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1952, #15872, FN 4140-1, as Pittsburgh Coke & Chemical Co 4. It became Pittsburgh & Ohio Valley RR 4 and sold as Shenango Mold Co 4. It was sold as Vulcan 4 at Akron, OH, and later transferred to Geismer, LA. It was sold to S&I Locomotive Services as 101 and later renumbered 4.
9 was built by Heisler Locomotive Works in May 1923, #1479, as
Kentucky Lumber Co 9. It was sold as
Carolina Tie & Lumber Co 9 and sold
as Santee River Hardwood Co 9. It was sold as
Campbell Limestone Co 9 in March 1962 and
became Vulcan 9 in February 1969. It was donated to the NRHS Atlanta
Chapter in December 1979 and is at the
26 was built by Porter 1924 #6856 as Consumers Co as 26. It later became Vulcan as 26.
301, 45 Ton, was built by General Electric on May 1941, #13059, as United States Army 1202. It was sold as Dodge City Ford & Bucklin RR 301 and sold to Vulcan Chemicals, division 301. It was donated as Oklahoma Railway Museum OKRX 302 in 2000.
302, SW1, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1940, #1229, FN E364-2, as Philadelphia Bethlehem & New England 216. It was renumbered 216 and later transferred to Cornwall RR 16. It later became Patapsco & Back River 157 and later to Vulcan as 302 in 1973.
2264, 45 Ton, was built by General Electric in November 1941, #13169, as United States Army 4550. It was renumbered 7431 and later sold to Birmingham Slag Co as DE7 in July 1946. It later became Vulcan as 2264. It was rebuilt in 1971 and sold to Pacolet Manufacturing Co no number in 1971.
2779, U23B, was built in General Electric in November 1974, #40100, as
4545, SW1, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1941, #1398, FN E407-3, as Elgin Joliet & Eastern 240. It was sold as Fernwood Columbus & Gulf 600 in June 1959 and became Illinois Central Gulf 618 in August 1972. It was sold as Columbus & Greenville 525 in May 1976 and sold as Vulcan 4545.
4687, 44 Ton, was built by General Electric in June 1946, #28494, as Union Freight RR 5. It was sold in December 1953 as Consumers Co 106-5. It later became Vulcan 4687 and was retired by them in December, 1970. They sold it to Birmingham Rail & Locomotive where it became 113.
5460, GP7u, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1962, #15720, FN 6339-4, as Delaware Lackawanna & Western 959. It became Erie Lackawanna 1278, Class MFSE-15D-4, in 1960 and Consolidated Railroad Corp 5993, Class GP-7, in April 1976, It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in November 1978 as 5460, Class GP-8, and retired on April 11, 1991. It was sold as Lehigh Stone Co 5460 and became Vulcan 5460.
8000, RS1m, was built by Alco in November 1945, #74496, as Alton RR 53. It became Gulf Mobile & Ohio 53 and rebuilt in 1972 as 1130. It became llinois Central Gulf 1130 in 1972 and sold as Vulcan 1130. It was renumbered 8000.
8409, GP9u, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1954, #18809, FN 5307-13, as Illinois Central 9012. It was rebuilt by Paducah in August 1970 as Illinois Central Gulf 8012 and sold as Chicago Central & Pacific 8012 and planned as 1723. It became IC 8409 on October 6, 1998, and sold to National Railway Equipment Co. It was sold as Vulcan 8409.
12001, SW900, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1955, #20408, FN 4301-25, as Baltimore & Ohio 649, Class DS-20E. It was renumbered 9424, Class SE-3, in 1956, and was reclassified Class SW-900 in 1965. It was retired on September 8, 1986, and sold to Wilson Railway Corp on December 23, 1986. It was sold as Vulcan 12001 in November 1987.
12002. SW900, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1955, #20393, FN 4301-10, as B&O 634, Class DS-20E. It was renumbered 9409, Class SE-3, March 21, 1957, and reclassified Class SW-900 in 1965. It was retired September 8, 1986, and sold to Wilson Railway Corp on December 23, 1986. It was sold as Vulcan 12002 in November 1987.
12003, SW900, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1955, #20385. FN 4301-2, as B&O 626, Class DS-20E, It was renumbered 9401, Class SE-3, in 1956, and reclassified Class SW-900 in 1965. It was retired on September 8, 1986, and sold to Wilson Railway Corp on December 23,1986. It was sold as Vulcan 12003 in February 1988.
21611, 44Ton, was built by General Electric in June 1946, #28491, as Union Freight 2. It was sold in December 1953 as Consumers Co 106-2. It later was sold to Vulcan as 21611.
17836, SD20, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1959, #25426, FN 5602-B39, as Union Pacific 438B, SD24B. It was rebuilt at Paducah in December 1979 as Illinois Central Gulf 2005 and was later sold to National Railway Equipment Co as 2005 in September 1995. They leased it to Iowa Interstate RR as 101 in June 1996 and returned on July 10, 2001. It was sold as Vulcan 17836.
RL1200, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1965, #30744, FN 4484-11, as Chicago Rock Island & Pacific 93o, an SW1200, It was sold as Republic Locomotive Co and rebuilt as 120, as RL1200 and sold to Vulcan Materials. It was sold to BRS Leasing Co as BRLX 1202 and sold as Bighorn Divide & Wyoming RR 2008 and scrapped in 2006.
No number, ML8, 30 Ton, was built by Plymouth in 1943. It was acquired by Museum of American Railroad.
No Number, 44 Ton, was built by General Electric.
No number, 65 Ton, was built by General Electric in March 1942, #15238, for Redstone Ordnance Plant. It became USA 1405 and sold to Vulcan.
