6000-6999
6311, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1966, #32048, FN 7910-2, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 1712, Class 1700. It was renumbered 5012, Class 5000, in April 1970 and was rebuilt at San Bernardino in February 1981. It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 6311, Class SD-40, on June 22, 1998, and renumbered GN 6311 in August 2009. It was sold as LTEX 6311 in January 2013.
6608, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1966, #32525, FN 5722-20, as AT&SF 1846, Class 1800. It was renumbered 5546, Class 5500 in 1970 and rebuilt at San Bernardino as 5341, Class 5304, in November 1982. It was sold as Wisconsin Central Ltd 6608 in 1994. It was later sold to LTE as 6608.
6636 SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1971, #37729, FN 5784-15, as Seaboard Coast Line 2038. It then went to Clinchfield RR as 3625. It later became Seaboard System 8938 in 1984 and then CSX Transportation 8938, Class SD-45, in April 1986. It was sold to VMV Enterprises as 8938 and then to Morrison Knudsen Corp as 9523. It then was sold to Helm Leasing Co as 7004. They sold it to Wisconsin Central Ltd as 6636. It was sold to LTE in September 2002 and scrapped.
6652, FP45, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1967, #33190, FN 5731-2, as AT&SF 101, Class 100. It was renumbered 5941, Class 5o4p on March 15, 1970. It was rebuilt at San Bernardino in October 1982 as 5991, Class 5990, and renumbered 104, Class 100 in July 1989, It was renumbered 5991, Class 5990, on May 17. 1990. and 91, Class 90, on May 18, 1990. It was sold as WCLtd 6652 on June 16, 1995, and as LTE 6652 in 2003.
6654, F45, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1968, #34051, FN 7105-16, as AT&SF 1915. It became Class 5915, Class 5900, in May 1970 and was rebuilt at San Bernardino in September 1982 as 5965, Class 5950. It was retired in May 1995 and sold as WCLtd 6654 on June 16, 1995. It was sold as LTE 6654 in July 2003.
6655, F45, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1968, #34058, FN 7114-3, as AT&SF 1922, Class 1900. It was renumbered 5922, Class 5900, in March 1970 and rebuilt at San Bernardino in November 1983 as 5972, Class 5950. It was sold as WCLtd 6655 in August 1994 and later sold as LTE 6655.
6702, SW8, was built by General Motors in November 1950, #A112, FN C101-3, as Canadian Pacific 6702, Class DS-8a. It was transferred as Delaware & Hudson 6702 in April 1990 and sold as LTEX 6702. It was renumbered as LTEX 900 and sold to Warren Consolidated Industries as WCI 831 in 2002.
6779, Class SD40-2, was built in May 1977, #766024-7, FN 766024-5, as Burlington Northern 6779, Class SD40-2. It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 6779, Class SD40-2, on November 11, 2001, and retired on June 30, 2009. It was sold as LTEX 6779 and sold as Wheeling & Lake Erie 6387 in November 2013.
6797, SD45T-2u, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1972, #7336-37, FN 7336-37, as Southern Pacific 9202, Class EF636-7. It was rebuilt as 6797, Class EF636R-7, on February 14, 1987, and assigned as Union Pacific 4947, Class SD45T-2, in March 1997 but retired on December 19, 2000. It was sold as LTE 6797 in 2001.
6803, SD45T-2u, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1972, #7336-5, as SP 9170, Class EF636-7. It was rebuilt in March 1987 as 6803, Class EF636-R01, and assigned UP 4950 but retired on December 19, 2000. It was sold as LTE 6803 in 2001.
6900, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1975, #74661-10, as Chicago & North Western 6900. It was assigned as Union Pacific 3055 but retired on December 26, 2001. It was sold as LTE 6900 in 2004.
