National Railroad Museum

Chicago Rock Island & Pacific 2, LWT12, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1955, #21464, FN 9002-2, as New York Central 1001, a demonstrator. It came to the Rock as 2 in September 1958 and was retired in September 1966.  It was donated to the National Railway Museum.

Ely-Thomas Lumber Co 5 was built by Lima on October 20, 1917, #2940, as Pardee & Curtin Lumber Co 12.  It was sold as ETLCo 5 on March 21, 1947, and acquired by Harold Allen and Casimir Samborski in 1955.  It was sold to George Banta in August 1972 and donated to NRM.

Lake Superior & Ishpeming 24, Class SC-4, was built by Alco-Pittsburgh in January 1910, #26840, as Marquette & Southeastern Ry 40.  It was merged as Munising Marquette & Southeastern RR 38 and merged as LS&I 24 in August 1923.  It was donated to NRM in May 1962.

Chicago Milwaukee St Paul & Pacific 38-A, E9A, Class 24E-P6, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1961, #26569, FN 7569-A5. It was sold to North Suburban Mass Transit District as 38-A in December 1973.  It was acquired by NRM.

Fort Howard Paper Co. 63-146, S2, was built by Alco in September 1941, #69554, as Buffalo Southern Ry 73,  It was sold as FWPCo 63-146 and donated to NRM.

Fort Howard Paper Co 63-180, S2, was built by Alco in September 1946, #74798, as Fairpot Painesville & Eastern RR 103.  It was sold as FWPCo 63-180 and donated to NRM/

United States Army 101 was built by Baldwin in May 1918, #48714, as U S Army 8341.  It was renumbered 6779 and became Korean National RR CS2-101 in 1946.  It was painted in the 1950s for U S Army 765 in honor of the shop battalion in Pusan.  It was given from Korea to NRM.

Sumter & Choctaw RR 102 was built by Baldwin in June 1924, #57778.  It was donated to NRM in August 1964 and a diesel was placed in the tender for power.

"Green Bay & Western 103", S3, was built by Alco in January 1952, #80289, as Manistique & Lake Superior 1.  It was sold as Ann Arbor RR 10 in December 1968 and sold to NRM.  It was painted as Green Bay & Western 103.

"Green Bay & Western 106", S6, was built by Alco in May 1955, #80924, as Southern Pacific 1034, Class DS-9.  It was renumbered 1201, Class AS409-1, in 1966.  It was sold as Mineral Range Inc 900 and sold to NRM.  It was restored as Chicago & North Western 1083 and later restored as Green Bay & Western 106.

United States Army 106, 44DE22, was built by Whitcomb in 1941, #60120, as St Louis Ordnance 2.  It became USA 106 and donated to NRM.

Green Bay & Western 315, C424, was built by Alco in February 1968, #3498-01. It is now preserved at the NRM.

St Paul Union Depot Co 441, 44 Ton, was built by General Electric in May 1941, #12948.  It was sold as American Can Co no number in 1971 and donated to NRM.  It was restored as SPUD 441.

Duluth Missabe & Iron Range 506, Class E-1, was built by Alco-Brooks in January 1919, #60075. as Duluth Missabe & Northern 506, Class E-1.  It became DM&IR 506, Class E-1, in 1937 and donated it to NRM  in May 1962.

Minneapolis & St Louis D-538, NW1, was built by Electro-Motive on June 14, 1938, #788, FN E203-1, as D-538.  It was renumbered 90 in March 1956 and sold as Marinette Tomahawk & Western 90 in 1957.  It was retired in December 1973 and donated to NRM  It was restored as M&StL D-538.

Wisconsin Central Ltd 715 was built in May 1963, #28335, FN 7564-15, as Soo Line RR 715. It became WCLtd 715 in 1987.   It was  given by Ed Burkhart to Soo Line Historical & Technical on September 18, 1993.  It was then and donated to the NRM in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Chicago Milwaukee St Paul & Pacific 767, H10-44, Class 10F-S, was built in December 1954, #L1011. as 1809. It was renumbered 767 in 1959 and rebuilt as 12F-S in 1962. It was retired in March 1981 and acquired as Wisconsin Western RR as 767.  It was renumbered 1204 and later sent to NRM.  It was restored as MILW 767.

Wisconsiu Central Ltd 1563, SW1500, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1971, #36862, FN 7286-2, as Kentucky & Indiana Terminal RR 73.  It was taken over by Southern Ry as 73 in 1982 and sold to Wisconsin Central Ltd as 1563 in April 1994.  It was donated to NRM by Canadian National on November 13, 2019.

Wisconsin Central Ltd 2402, SD24, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1959, #25207, FN 5598-11, as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 510. It became Burlington Northern 6250, Class SD-24, in 1970 and was retired in July 1982. It was sold through General Electric to Maryland Midland Ry as 6250. It was later sold to Steamtown National Historic Site and painted as Delaware Lackawanna & Western 880.  It then was sold to Fox River Valley RR as 2402. It later became Wisconsin Central Ltd 2402.  It was donated to NRM.

Wisconsin Central Ry 2718, Class H-23, was built by Alco-Schenectady in May 1923, #64313.  It was donated to NRM in February 1958.

Chesapeake & Ohio 2736, Class K-4, was built by Alco-Schenectady in August 1944, #70823.  It was donated to NRM in October 1961.

Union Pacific 4017 was built by Alco-Schenectady in December 1941, #69588.  It was retired in May 1961 and donated to NRM.

Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 5017, Class 5011, was built by Baldwin in 1944. #70823.  It was donated to NRM on December 19, 1959.

United States Army 8651, RSD1, was built by Alco in January 1945, #72124.  It was donated to the NRM.

British Railways 60008 "Dwight D Eisenhower", Class A4, was built at Doncaster in September 1937, #1861, as London & North Eastern 4496 "Golden Shuttle, Class A4.  It was renamed "Dwight D Eisenhower" in September 1945 and renumbered 8 in 1946.  It became BR 60008 in January 1948.  It was donated to nrm  in April 1974.
