Electro-Motive SD24 Diesels

502 was built in May 1959, #25199, FN 5598-3. It became Burlington Northern 6242, Class SD-24, in 1970 and was traded in to General Electric in June 1982.

504 was built in May 1969, #25201, FN 5598-5.  It became BN 6244, Class SD-24, in 1970 and was traded to General Electric in June 1982.  It was sold to Maryland Midland Ry as 6244 in 1983 and sold to Illinois Railway Museum in 1985.  It was restored as CB&Q 504.

505 was built in May 1959, #25202, FN 5598-6.  It became BN 6245, Class SD-24, in 1970 and was traded in to General Electric in July 1982.

507 was built in May 1959, #25204, FN 5598-8.  It became BN 6247, Class SD-24, in 1970 and sold for scrap to Hyman-Michaels Co in December 1981.

508 was built in May 1959, #25205, FN 5598-9.  It was totaled at Roggen, CO, on October 29, 1969.

509 was built in May 1959, #25206, FN 5598-10.  It became BN 6249, Class SD-24, in 1970 and traded in to General Electric in June 1982.

510 was built in May 1959, #25207, FN 5598-11. It became BN 6250, Class SD-24, in 1970 and was retired in July 1982. It was sold through General Electric to MMID as 6250. It was later sold to Steamtown National Historic Site and painted as Delaware Lackawanna & Western 880.  It then was sold to  Fox River Valley RR as 2402. It later became Wisconsin Central Ltd 2402.  It was donated to National Railroad Museum.

511 was built in May 1959, #25208, FN 5598-12.  It became BN 6251, Class SD-24, in 1970 and traded in to General Electric in June 1982.

512 was built in May 1959, #25209, FN 5598-13.  It became BN 6252, Class SD-24, in 1970  and traded in to General Electric in June 1982.  It was sold as MMID 6252 and sold as ConAgra 6252 in September 1986.  It was scrapped in October 2019.

515 was built in May 1959, #25212, FN 5598-16. It became BN 6255, Class SD-24, in 1970 and was retired in July 1982. It was sold through General Electric to MMID as 6255. It was later sold to Steamtown National Historic Site and then to FRV as 2401. It later became WCLtd 2401 and sold to Larry's Truck Equipment.  It was scrapped.
