This growing company is a dealer and leasor of locomotives. This is a historical information site and we have no connection with the company. We have found that a person was somewhat confusing in the basic purpose of this site.

8000-8999

8067, GP9u, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1957, #22328, FN 5517-6, as Illinois Central 9205.  It was rebuilt at Paducah in May 1973 as IC 8067.  It was sold to Yadkin Valley as 8067 on January 6, 1995, and sold as NREX 8067 in 2006.  It was sold to Inter-Rail Group Inc as IRTX 8067 in July 2012

8081, 3GS21B, was built by National Railway Equipment at Mount Vernon in December 2008, #058-0160, as Neptune Bulk Terminal 808.  It was listed as NREX 8081 when shipped from Illinois to Canada.

8081A, slug, was built by National Railway Equipment at Mount Vernon in December 2008, #058-0161. as NBT 808A.  It was listed as NREX 8081 when shipped from Illinois to Canada.

8092, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1980, #786256-3, FN 786256-3, as Burlington Northern 8092, Class SD40-2.  It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 8092, Class SD40-2, in March 2001 and sold to First Union Rail  as FURX 8092.  It was sold as NREX 8092 and sold as WAMX 4197.

8316, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1970, #36810, FN 7282-2, as Louisville & Nashville 1240, Class SD-40.  It became Seaboard System RR 8316 and later CSX Transportation 8316, Class SD-40.  It was sold as NRE 8316 and sold to Morrison Knudsen Corp as MKCX 9416.  It was leased as Dakota Minnesota & Eastern 6056 "City of Eyota" on June 25, 1997, and rebuilt by Alstom in 2000 as FURX 3016, SD40-2.

8322, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1970, #36816, FN 7828-8, as L&N 1246, Class SD-40.  It became SBD 8322 and later CSX 8322, Class SD-40.  It was sold as NRE 8322 and sold as MKCX 9417.  It was leased as DM&E 6057 "City of Miller" on June 25, 1997, and rebuilt by Alstom in 2000 as FURX 3008, SD40-2.

8503, B39-8, was built by General Electric in April 1988, #45654, as LMX Corp 8503.  It was retired in June 2001 and sold as Railway Equipment Leasing Co 8503 and resold as NRE 8503.

8517, B39-8, was built by General Electric in December 1987, #45426, as LMX 8517.  It was sold as Relco 8517 in June 2001 and sold as NRE 8517.

8523, B39-8, was built by General Electric on October 1987, #45432, as LMX 8523.  It was sold as Relco 8523 in June 2001 and sold as NRE 8523.

8528, B39-8, was built by General Electric in October 1987, #45437, as LMX 8528.  It was sold to Relco as RLCX 8528 in June 2001 and sold as NRE 8528.

8534, B39-8, was built by General Electric in December 1987, #45443, as LMX 8534.  It was sold to Relco as RLCX 8534 in June 2001 and sold as NRE 8534.

8538, B39-8, was built by General Electric in October 1987, #45447, as LMX 8538.  It was sold as RLCX 8538 in June 2001 and sold as NRE 8538.

8572, B39-8, was built by General Electric in March 1988, #45481, as LMX 8572.  It was sold as Relco 8572 in June 2001 and sold as CIT Financial Group 8572.  It was sold as NRE 8572 and sold as Nashville & Eastern RR 8572 in 2005.

8596, B39-8, was built by General Electric in April 1988, #45505, as LMX 8596.  It was sold as NRE 8596 and sold as NERR 8596 and resold as San Luis & Rio Grande RR 8596.

8658, C39-8, was built by General Electric in October 1986, #45368, as Norfolk Southern 8658, Class C39-8.  It was sold as NREX 8658.

8686, SD50, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1985, #847032-19, FN 847032-19, as Consolidated Railroad Corp 6803, Class SD-40.  It became CSX Transportation 8686, Class SD-50, and sold as NRE 8686.

8688, SD50, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1986, #857080-3, FN 857090-3, as Conrail 6807, Class SD-50.  It became CSX 8688, Class SD-50, and sold as NRE 8688.  It was rebuilt as Kansas City Southern 7022 in 2004.

8689, SD50, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1986, #857080-9, FN 857080-9, as Conrail 6813, Class SD-50.  It became CSX 8689, Class SD-50, and sold as NRE 8689.  It was rebuilt as KCS 7023 in 2004 and sold to Larry's Truck Equipment in August 2012.

8697, SD50, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1986, #857080-22, FN 857080-22, as Conrail 6826, Class SD-50.  It became CSX 8697, Class SD-50, and sold as NRE 8697.  It was rebuilt as KCS 7017 in 2004 and sold to Larry's Truck Equipment in August 2012.

8725, GP7u, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1953, #18713, FN 5305-3, as Union Pacific 722.  It was renumbered 122 in October 1953 and retired on April 11, 1978.  It was sold to Precision National Corp in November 1978 and sold to Illinois Central Gulf in November 1978.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8725 in November 1979.  It became Illinois Central 8725 and sold as NREX 8725.

8738, GP9u, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1957, #22296, FN 5480-24, as Illinois Central 9232,  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8738, GP11, in 1980 and retired on January 13, 1998.  It was sold as NREX 8738 in November 1998.

8740, GP9u, was built by Electro0Motive in January 1957, #22309, FN 5480-37. as IC 9244.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as 8740, GP11, in 1980 and retired on December 22, 1995.  It was sold as NREX 8740 in November 1987.

8748, GP9u, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1957, #23812, FN 5553-12, as IC 9312.  It was rebuilt at Paducah as GP11 ICG 8748 in 1980 and retired on February 9, 1991.  It was sold as NREX 8748.

8911, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1968, #31464, FN 7123-2, as Seaboard Coast Line 2011.  It became Seaboard System 2011 in January 1983 and renumbered 8911 in 1984.  It became CSX Transportation 8911, Class SD-45, in April 1986 and sold to National Railway Equipment Co as NREX 8911.  It was rebuilt as Union Pacific 4738, Class SD40-2, on February 2, 1999, and renumbered as 2788 on December 22, 2001.  It was retired on April 15, 2002, and returned to CIT Financial Group as CEFX 2788.  It was relettered as CITX 2788 in 2008.
