7000-7999

 

7001, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1969, #34554, FN 7147-4, as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 519. It became Burlington Northern 6460, Class SD-45, in 1970 and was returned to the leasor in February 1984. It was sold to Chicago & North Western and became 6579 on February 28, 1984. It was retired on November 19, 1987, amd sold to VMV in October 1989. It was then sold to Morrison-Knudsen as 9508 and then to Helm as 7001. It was again sold to Wisconsin Central Ltd as 6633. It was finally sold to Larry's Truck Equipment Co and scrapped.

7004, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1971, #37729, FN 5784-15, as Seaboard Coast Line 2038. It then went to Clinchfield RR as 3625. It later became Seaboard System 8938 in 1984 and then CSX Transportation 8938, Class SD-45, in April 1986. It was sold to VMV Enterprises as 8938 and then to Morrison Knudsen Corp as 9523. It then was sold to Helm as 7004. They sold it to WCLtd as 6636. It was sold to Larry's Truck Electric in September 2002 and scrapped.

7005, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1968, #33657, FN 7082-26, as Southern Pacific 8960, Class EF636-3.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co as NHL 6435, and sold to Morrison Knudsen as MKCX 9526.  It was sold as HLCX 7005.  It was sold as Wisconsin Central Ltd 6637 and rebuilt as 7637.

7006, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive  in December 1977, #776053-16, FN 776053-16, as Burlington Northern 7006. It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 7006, Class SD40-2, on April 19, 2001.  It was retired in November 2008 and sold to Helm Leasing Corp as HLCX 7006.  It was sold as Norfolk Southern 3511, Class SD40-2, on January 25, 2014.

7007, SD45 was built by Electro-Motive in February 1970, #35525, FN 7199-5, as Norfolk & Western 1769  It became Wheeling & Lake Erie 1769 and retired in September 1992,  It was sold to Pielet Brothers in July 1993 and sold to MKRail as 9534.  It was sold as HLCX 7007.  It was sold as WCLtd 6639 and sold to Larry's Truck Electric Co.

7009, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1977, #776053-19, FN 776053-19, as BN 7009, Class SD40-2. It became BNSF 7009, Class SD40-2, in October 1901. It was retired in November 2008 and sold as HLCX 7009.  It was scrapped in November 2012.

7010, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1977, #776053-20, FN 776053-20, as BN 7010, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 7010, Class SD40-2, in May 2001 and retired in November 2008.  It was sold as HLCX 7010 and sold as NS 3512, Class SD40-2, on December 13, 2013.

7011, SD45u, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1970, #36661, FN 7246-4, as Erie Lackawanna 3657, Class MFE-36D-6A. It was rebuilt from an SDP45 by Electro-Motive in 1974 to -2 standards. In April 1976 it became Consolidated Railroad Corp 6688, Class SD45-2. It was later sold to VMV Enterprises as 6688. On March 19, 1994, it was sold to MK as 9512. Later it became Helm 7011. It finally came to Montana Rail-Link as 332.

7014, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive  in December 1977, #776053-24, FN 776053-24, as BN 7014, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 7014, Class SD40-2, in 2001 and retired in November 2008.  It was sold as HLCX 7014 and sold as Indiana  & Ohio RR 3488 in 2018.

7016, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive  in December 1977, #776053-26, FN 776053-26, as BN 7016, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 7016, Class SD40-2, in March 1999 and retired in November 2008.  It was sold as HLCX 7016 and sold as NS 3513, Class SD40-2, on December 14, 2013.

7018, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1977, #776053-28, FN 776053-28, as BN 7018, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 7018, Class SD40-2, in February 2002 and retired in November 2008.  It was sold as HLCX 7018.

7022, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive  in December 1977, #776053-32, FN 776053-32, as BN 7022, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 7022, Class SD40-2, in August 2001 and retired in November 2008.  It was sold as HLCX 7022 and sold as NS 3514, Class SD40-2, on December 7, 2013.

7027, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1977, #776053-37, FN 776053-37, as BN 7027, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 7027, Class SD40-2, in March 2002 and retired in November 2008.  It was sold as HLCX 7027 and sold as NS 3515, Class SD40-2, on December 5, 2013.

7063,  SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1978, #776057-1, FN 776057-1, as BN 7063, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 7063, Class SD40-2, in May 2001, and retired in April 2008.  It was sold as HLCX 7063 and sold as NS 3516, Class SD40-2, on December 27, 2013.

7065, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive  in July 1978, #776057-3, FN 776057-3, as BN 7065, Class SD0-2..  It became BNSF 7065, Class SD40-2, in October 2001, and retired on September 1, 2011.  It was sold as HLCX 7065 and sold .  It was sold as NS 3517, Class SD40-2, on January 14, 2014.

7071, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1978, #776057-9, FN 776057-9, as BN 7071, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 7071, Class SD40-2, in January 2001, and retired on September 1, 2011.  It was sold as HLCX 7071.   It was sold as HLCX 7071 and sold as NS 3518, Class SD40-2, on February 26, 2014.

7102, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1978, #786166-28, FN 786166-28, as BN 7102, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 7102 and sold as CEFX 7102.  It was rebuilt as CEFX 3175 and renumbered CITX 3175.

7144, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1979, #786173-19, FN 786173-19, as BN 7144, Class SD40-2,  It became BNSF 7144, Class SD40-2, in January 2001 and sold as HLCX 7144.  It was sold to Watco Inc as WAMX 4198.

7149, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1979, #786173-24, FN 786173-24, as BN 7149, Class SD40-2.  It was sold to Helm as HLCX 7149 on June 30, 1999, and sold as  NS 3528, Class SD40-2, on January 5, 2014.

7163, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1979, #786173-58, FN 786173-58, as BN 7163, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 7163, Class SD40-2, in October 2002.  It was sold as HLCX 7163 and sold as NS 3529, Class SD40-2, on April 4. 2014.

7165, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1979, #786173-60, FN 786173-60, as BN 7165, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 7165, Class SD40-2, in September 1998 and retired in April 2008.  It was sold as HLCX 7165 in 2008.

7169, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in September 1979, #A3771, FN C422-17, as BN 7169, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 7169 on June 30, 1999, and sold as NS 3540, Class SD40-2, on January 28, 2014.

7171, SD40-2, was built by General Motots in September 1979, #A3773, FN C422-19, as BN 7171, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 7171, Class SD40-2, in July 1998 to Helm as HLCX 7171 on January 5, 2014.  It was sold as NS 3541, Class SD40-2, on January 12, 2014.

7174, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in September 1979, #A3776, FN C422-22, as BN 7174, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 7174 on June 30, 1999, and scrapped in February 2013.

7175, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in September 1979, #A3777, FN C422-23, as BN 7175, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 7175 on June 30, 1999.

7176, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in September 1979, #A3778, FN C422-24, ex BN 7176, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 7176 on June 30, 1999.  It was sold as NS 3542, Class SD40-2, on February 14, 2014.

7177, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in September 1979, #A3779, FN C422-25, as BN 7177, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 7175 on June 30, 1999.  It was sold as NS 3543, Class SDS40-2, on November 15, 2013.

7178, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in September 1979, #A3780, FN C422-26, as BN 7178, Class SD40-2.  It waa sold as HLCX 7178 on June 30, 1999.  It was sold as NS 3544, Class SD40-2, on January 17, 2014.

7179,  SD40-2, was built by General Motors in September 1979, #A3781, FN C422-27, as BN 7179, Class SD40-2.  It waa sold as HLCX 7179 on June 30, 1999.  It was sold as NS 3545, Class SD40-2, on January 27, 2014.

7183,  SD40-2, was built by General Motors in September 1979, #A3785, FN C422-31, as BN 7183, Class SD40-2.  It waa sold as HLCX 7183 on June 30, 1999.  It was sold as NS 3546, Class SD40-2, on January 27, 2014.

7186, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in September 1979, #A3788, FN C422-34, as BN 7186, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 7186 on June 30, 1999.  It was sold as NS 3547, Class SD40-2, on March 3, 2014.

7188, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in September 1979, #A3790, FN C422-36, as BN 7188, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 7188 on June 30, 1999.  It was sold as NS 3548, Class SD40-2, on March 6, 2014.

7191, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in September 1979, #A3793, FN C422-39, as BN 7191, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 7191 on June 30, 1999.  It was sold as NS 3549, Class SD40-2, on December 27, 2013.

7194, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in September 1979, #A3796, FN C422-42, as BN 7194, Class SD40-2.  It was sold to Helm as HLCX 7194 on June 30, 1999.  It was sold as NS 3550, Class SD40-2, on November 16, 2013.

7197, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in October 1979, #A3799, FN C422-45, as BN 7197, Class SD40-2.  It was sold to Helm as HLCX 7197 on June 30, 1999.  It was sold as NS 3551, Class SD40-2, on January 27, 2014.

7199, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in September 1979, #A3801, FN C422-47, as BN 7199, Class SD40-2.  It was sold to Helm as HLCX 7199 on June 30, 1999.  It was sold as NS 3552, Class SD40-2, on January 27, 2014.

7200, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in October 1979, #A3802, FN C422-48, as BN 7200, Class SD40-2.  It was sold to Helm as HLCX 7200 on June 30, 1999.  It was sold as NS 3553, Class SD40-2, on November 30, 2013.

7202, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in October 1979, #A3804, FN C422-50, as BN 7202, Class SD40-2.  It was sold to Helm as HLCX 7202 on June 30, 1999.  It was sold as NS 3554, Class SD40-2, on December 20, 2014.

7228, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in July 1980, #A3937, FN C423-23, as BN 7228, Class SD40-2.  It sold as HLCX 7228 on June 30, 1999 and sold as NS 3581, Class SD40-2, on January 14, 2014.

7230, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in July 1980, #A3939, FN C423-25, as BN 7230, Class SD40-2,  It was sold as HLCX 7230 in 1999 and sold as NS 3582, Class SD40-2, on December 23, 2013.

7537, SD45R, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1970, #35754. FN 7215-2, as St Louis South-Western 9153, Class EF636C-4.  It was rebuilt in 1968 as Southern Pacific 7537, Class EF636LR-3. It was sold to Helm Leasing as HATX 7537 in 1995 and renumbered as HATX 450.  It was sold as Buffalo & Pittsburgh 450.  It was transferred as Illinois Midland RR 450 in 2004 and transferred as Portland & Western RR 3052 in 2005.  It was rebuilt as 3603, SD45-3.

7539, SD45R, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1969, #35209, FN 7187-14, as Southern Pacific  9117, Class EF636-6.  It was rebuilt in March 1968 as 7539,  Class EF636LR-3.  It was sold as HATX 7539 in 1995 and renumbered as HATX 451.  It was sold as B&P 451 and sold to Larry's Truck Equipment in July 2012.  It was scrapped in 2012.

7562, SD45R, was built in by Electro-Motive in February 1968, #33638, FN 7082-7, as SP 8941, Class EF636-3. It was rebuilt in 1986 as 7562, Class EF636LR-4. It was sold to Helm as 7562 and then rebuilt in 1996 as B&P 453. It was sold to Larry's Truck Equipment Co in May 2012.  It was scrapped in 2012.

7563, SD45R, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1969, #34427, FN 7140-8, as St Louis South-Western 9059, Class EF636C-2.  It was rebuilt in February 1986 as SP 7563, Class EF636LR-4.  It was sold to Helm as 7563 and rebuilt in 1996 as B&P 454.  It was sold to Larry's Truck Equipment Co in May 2012.  It was scrapped in 2012.

7564, SD45R, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1959, #34394, FN 7138-39, as 9026, Class EF636-4.  It was rebuilt in February 1986 as 7564, Class EF636LR-3. It was sold to Helm as 7564 in 1995 and then rebuilt in 1996 as B&P 455.  It was sold to Larry's Truck Equipment Co in May 2012.

7700, GP60, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1990, #896051-1, FN 896051-1, as Texas-Mexican Ry 869.  It was sold as Helm 7700 and resold as VTR 381.It was returned as Helm 7700 in September 2004 and sold as Burlington Northern Santa Fe 168, Class GP60, in August 2011.

7701, GP60, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1991, #907048-1, FN 907048-1, as T-M 870.  It was sold as Helm 7701 and leased as Green Mountain RR 382 in February 2002.  It was returned as Helm 7701 in September 2004 and sold as BNSF 169, Class GP60, in August 2011.

7839, SD40-2, was built in July 1978, #786057-20, FN 786057-20, as Colorado & Southern 7839, Class SD40-2.  In January 1982 it became Burlington Northern 7839, Class SD40-2, and in October 1998 it became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 7839, Class SD40-2.  It was retired in April 2008 and sold as HLCX 7839.  It was sold as Portland & Western RR 3389 in 2013.

7850, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1978, #FN 766057-31, FN 786057-31, as C&S 7850, Class SD40-2.  In January 1982 it became BN 7850, Class SD 40-2, and in May 2002 it became BNSF  7850, Class SD40-2.  It was retired on November 18, 2008, and sold as HLCX 7850.  It was scrap to Milano Metals in March 2013.

7857, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive  in October 1978, #786001-2, FN 786001-2, as C&S 7857, Class SD40-2. In January 1982 it became B&N  7857, Class SD40-2, and on January 13, 2000, it became BNS 7857, Class SD40-2.  It was retired on January 12, 2010, and sold as HLCX 7857.  It was sold as Norfolk Southern 3523, Class SD40-2, on April 25, 2014.

7862,  SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1978, #786001-7, FN 786001-7, as C&S 7862, Class SD40-2.  In January 1986, it became BN 7862, Class SD40-2, and BNSF 7862, Class SD40-2, in May 2001.  It was retired on November 18, 2008, and sold as HLCX 7862 in November 2008.  It was sold as NS 3524, Class SD40-2, on February 14, 2014.

7866, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1978, #786001-11, FN 786001-11, as C&S 7866, Class SD40-2. In January 1982, it became BN 7866, Class SD40-2, and BNSF 7866, Class SD40-2, on August 20, 2003.  It was retired on November 18, 2008, and sold to as HLCX 7866 in November 2008.

7892, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1979, #786173-65, FN 786173-65, as C&S 7892, Class SD40-2.  In January 1982 it became BN 7892, Class SD40-2, and BNSF 7892, Class SD40-2, in February 1999.  It was retired on November 18, 2008, and sold to Helm as HLCX 7892 in November 2008.

7903, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1979, #786173-76, FN 786173-76, as C&S 7903, Class SD40-2.  In January 1982 it became BN 7903, Class SD40-2, and BNSF 7903, Class SD40-2, in January 2000.  It was retired in April 2008 and sold as HLCX 7903.  It was sold as NS 3530, Class SD40-2, on November 15, 2013.

7916, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1979, #786173-89, FN 786163-89, as C&S 7916, Class SD40-2. In January 1982 it became BN 7916, Class SD40-2, and on September 7, 1999, it became BNSF 7916, Class SD40-2, in June 2002.   It was retired on November 18, 2008, and sold to Helm as HLCX 7916 in November 2008.  It became NS 3531, Class SD40-2, in February 14, 2016.

7918, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1979, #786173-91, FN 786173-91, as C&S 7918, Class SD40-2. In January 1982 it became BN 7918, Class SD40-2, and on September 7, 1999. it became BNSF 7918, Class SD40-2.  It was retired on November 18, 2008, and sold to Helm as HLCX 7912 in November 2008.

7920, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive  in June 1979, #786173-93, FN 786163-93, as C&S 7920, Class SD40-2.  In January 1982 it became BN 7920, Class SD40-2, and BNSF 7920, Class SD40-2, in September 2002.  It was retired in April 2008 and sold as HLCX 7920.  It was sold as NS 3532, Class SD40-2, on March 6, 2014.

7921, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1979, #786173-94, FN 786163-94, as C&S 7921, Class SD40-2.  In January 1982 it became BN 7921, Class SD40-2, and BNSF 792l, Class SD40-2, in August 2001.  It was retired in April 2008 and sold as HLCX 7921.  It was sold as NS 3533, Class SD40-2, on November 22, 2013.

7922, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1979, #786173-95, FN 786173-95, as C&S 7922, Class SD40-2.  In January 1982 it became BN 7922, Class SD40-2, and on January 2001, it became BNSF 7922, Class SD40-2.  It was retired on November 18, 2008, and sold to Helm as HLCX 7922 in November 2008.  It became NS 3534. Class SD40-2, on February 14, 2014.
