Soo Line Railway

Electro-Motive SW1200 Diesels

325 was built in January 1955, #20108, FN 4288-4, as Minneapolis St Paul & Sault Ste Marie RR 325.  It became Soo Line 325 in January 1961 and sold as National Railway Equipment Co 325 in December 1996.

326 was built in January 1955, #20109, FN 4288-5. as MStP&SSM 326.  It became Soo Line 326 in January 1961 and retired in January 1986.

327 was built in January 1955, #20110, FN 4288-7, as MStP&SSM 327.  It became Soo Line 327 in January 1961 and retired in January 1986.  It was sold as Corn Products Co 327 and resold to Luria Brothers as LLX 327.

328 was built in January 1955, #20182, FN 4288-8, as MStP&SSM 328.  It became Soo Line 328 in January 1961 and sold to Independent Locomotive Service in March 1999 as ILS 1374.  It was sold as Nucor Steel Co 905.

329 was built in November 1954, #20052, FN 4284-12, as Chicago Milwaukee St Paul & Pacific 2059, Class 12E-S. It was renumbered 611 in 1959 and became Davenport Rock Island & North Western 611 in May 1980.  It was renumbered 108 and became Soo Line 329 in 1995.  It became Canadian Pacific 329 in 1997 and sold as I&M Rail Link 12 in 1997.  It became Iowa Chicago & Eastern 12 in 2002 and sold to Locomotive Specialists as LOSX 147.  It was sold to Vali Commercial as 525.

1201 was built in September 1962, #27508. FN 4452-2, as Minneapolis Northfield & Southern 31  It became Soo Line 1201 in 1986 and sold to Progress Rail Services in April 1999.

1202 was built in February 1964, #28933, FN 4459-1, as MN&S 32.  It became Soo Line 1202 in 1986 and sold to Progress Rail Services in April 1999.

1203 was built in February 1964, #28934, FN 4459-2, as MN&S 33.  It became Soo 1203 in 1986 and sold to Helm Leasing in September 1999.  It was sold as Tulsa-Sapulpa Union RR 108.

1204 was built in May 1965, #29758, FN 4480-1, as MN&S 34.  It became Soo 1204 in 1986 and sold to Helm Leasing Co as HLCX 1204 in September 1999.

1205 was built in May 1965, #29759, FN 4480-2, as MN&S 35.  It became Soo 1205 in 1986 and sold to Progress Rail Services as RMPX 1205 in 1999.

1207 was built in November 1954, #20046, FN 4284-4, as Chicago Milwaukee St Paul & Pacific 2053, Class 12E-S.  It was renumbered 605 in 1959 and 702 in 1984.  It became Soo Line 1207 in 1985 and rebuilt as slug Canadian Pacific 1000 in 1996.

1208 was built in November 1954, #20048, FN 4284-6, as CMStP&P 2055, Class 12E-S. It was renumbered 607 in 1959 and 703 in 1984. It became Soo Line 1208 in 1985 and was retired in March 1986 and sold to Dakota Rail as 1208.

1209 was built in January 1954, #18760, FN 4241-3, as CMStP&P 1639, Class 12E-S.  It was renumbered 616 in 1959 and 704 in 1984.  It became Soo Line 1209 in 1985 and rebuilt as a slug CP 1209 in 1995.  It was not used and sold to Broadway Motors in December 1998.

1210 was built in November 1954, #20059, FN 4286-5, as CMStP&P 2024, Class 12E-S. It was renumbered 629 in 1959 and 705 in 1984. It became Soo Line 1210 in 1985 and was retired in May 1986. It was sold to Pielet Bros. for scrap and then sold as Wisconsin & Southern  1202. It was sold as Indiana Box Car Co 1202 and resold as Diesel Locomotive Co LLC 1202.

1211 was built in November 1954, #20061, FN 4286-7, as CMStP&P 2026, Class 12E-S. It was renumbered 631 in 1959 and 706 in 1984, It became Soo Line 1211 in 1985.

1214 was built in November 1954, #20066, FN 4286-12, as CMStP&P 2031, Class 12E-S. It was renumbered 636 in 1959 and 709 in 1984. It became Soo Line 1214 in 1985 and was retired in March 1986 and sold as Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority 52 in 1987.

1216 was built in November 1954, #20072, FN 4286-18, as CMStP&P 2037, Class 12E-S. It was renumbered 642 in 1959 and 711 in 1984. It became Soo Line 1216 in 1985 and became I&M Rail Link 15 in 1997.  It was sold to Iowa Chicago & Eastern in 2002 but never relettered.  It was sold as Archer-Daniels-Midland 16.

1218 was built in November 1954, #20074, FN 4286-20, as CMStP&P 2039, Class 12E-S.  It was renumbered 644 in 1959 and renumbered 713 in 1984.  It was transferred to Soo Line as 1218 in 1985.  It was sold to I&MERL as 16 in 1997 and became IC&E 16 in 2002.

1220 was built in November 1954, #20077, FN 4286-23, as CMStP&P 2042, Class 12E-S. It was renumbered 647 in 1959 and 715 in 1984. It became Soo Line 1220 in 1985 and retired in 1997.

1222 was built in November 1954, #20082, FN 4286-28, as CMStP&P 2047, Class 12E-S. It was renumbered 652 in 1959 and 717 in 1984. It became Soo Line 1222 in 1985.

2122 was built in January 1955, #19087, FN 4289-3, as Wisconsin Central RR 2122.  It became Soo Line 2122 in January 1961 and sold in May 1986 as Independent Locomotive Service 914.  It was leased to Nucor Steel.

2126 was built in January 1955, #20118, FN 4289-8, as WC 2126.  It became Soo Line RR 2126 in 1961 and sold to National Railway Equipment Co in 1997.
