400, Class GP38-2, was built in March 1979, #786237-1, FN 786237-1, as South East Coal Co 3821. It was rebuilt by National Railway Equipment in 1991 and leased as Chicago & North Western 4701 in December 1991. It became UP 2070 on January 6, 1996 and renumbered 400 on July 9, 2001. It was retired on October 13, 2003, and sold to CIT Financial Group as CEFX 400.
401, Class GP38-2, was built in March 1979, #786237-2, FN 786237-2, as SECX 3822. It was rebuilt by NRE in 1991 and leased as C&NW 4702 in December 1991. It became UP 401 on February 6, 2002, and retired on October 13, 2003. It was sold as CEFX 401.
402, Class GP38-2, was built in March 1979, #786237-3, FN 786237-3, as SECX 3823. It was rebuilt by NRE in 1991 and leased as C&NW 4703 in December 1991. It became UP 402 on October 24, 2001, and retired on October 13, 2003. It was sold as CEFX 402.
403, Class GP38-2, was built in July 1970, #36672, FN 7274-7, as Chesapeake & Ohio 4826, Class GP-38. It was assigned as CSX Transportation 2126, Class GP-38, but retired. It was rebuilt by NRE as GP38-2 in 1991 and leased as C&NW 4704 in December 1991. It became UP 403 on August 5, 2001 and retired on October 13, 2003. It was sold as CEFX 403.
404, Class GP38-2, was built in September 1970, #36681, FN 7274-16, as Baltimore & Ohio 4805, Class GP-38. and became CSX 2105, Class GP-38. It was wrecked and retired in November 1991. It was rebuilt by NRE as GP38-2 and leased as C&NW 4705 in December 1991. It was assigned as UP 2064 in May 1995, reassigned as UP 1904, and reassigned UP 370. It became UP 404 on August 8, 2001, and retired on October 13, 2003. It was sold as CEFX 404.
405, Class GP38-2, was built in November 1967, #33701, FN 7060-71, as C&O 3870, Class GP-38. It became CSX 2070, Class GP-38. It was rebuilt by NRE as GP38-3 and leased as C&NW 4706 in December 1991. It became UP 405 on November 5, 2001, and retired on October 13, 2005. It was sold as CEFX 405.
406, Class GP38-2, was built in July 1970, #36332, FN 7257-20, as Louisville & Nashville 4019, Class GP-38. It became Seaboard System 4019 and renumbered 6240. It became CSX 2149, Class GP-38 and rebuilt by NRE as GP38-2. It was leased as C&NW 4707 in December 1991 and became UP 406 on September 20, 2001. It was retired on October 23, 2003, and sold as CEFX 406.
407, Class GP38-2, was built in November 1967, #33362, FN 7060-45, as B&O 3844, Class GP-38. It became CSX 2044, Class GP-38, and retired on June 25, 1990. It was rebuilt by NRE in 1991 as GP38-2, and leased as C&NW 4708 in December 1991. It was assigned as UP 2063 in May 1995, reassigned as UP 1907, and reassigned UP 373. It became UP 407 on April 3, 2001, and retired on October 13, 2003. It became CEFX 407.
408, Class GP38-2, was built in October 1967, #33335, FN 7060-18, as B&O 3817, Class GP-38. It was later 2017 and then became CSX 2017, Class GP-38, and and retired on February 23, 1990. It was rebuilt by NRE in 1991 and leased as C&NW 4709 in December 1991. It was assigned as UP 2068 in May 1995, reassigned as UP 1908, and reassigned UP 374. It became UP 408 on December 21, 2001, and retired on October 13, 2003. It became CEFX 408.
409, Class GP38-2, was built in September 1969, #35399, FN 7191-96, as Penn Central 7770, Class EF-20. It became Consolidated Railroad Corp 7770, Class GP-38, in April 1976 and sold as Ann Arbor RR 7770 in March 1985. It was rebuilt by NRE in 1991 and leased as C&NW 4710 in December 1991. It became UP 409 on November 4, 2001, and retired on October 13, 2003. It became CEFX 409.
410, Class GP38-2, was built in May 1972, #7354-1, FN 7354-1, as PC 7942, Class EF-20.. It became Conrail 7944, Class GP38-2, in April 1976. It went to General Motors as 740 in July 1987. It went to UP as 1910 on August 16, 1997, and was renumbered 410 on April 10, 2001. It was retired on May 20, 2003, and became Locomotive Leasing Partners 2301. It was sold as Iowa Interstate RR 700 on December 22, 2004.

473, Class GP38-2, was built in September 1972, #72704-3, as L&N 4072, Class GP38-2. It became SBD 4072 and was later renumbered 2582. It then became CSX 2582, Class GP38-2. It was sold to Helm as 2582 and rebuilt by Metro East in February 1998 assigned SP 4847, but completed February 19, 1998, as UP 1973. It was renumbered 473 on June 27, 2001, and retired on October 13, 2003.
(476), Class GP38-2, was built in September 1972, #72704-12, as L&N 4081, Class GP38-2. It became SBD 4081 and was renumbered 2591. It later became CSX 2591, Class GP38-2. It was sold to Helm as 2591 and rebuilt by AMF on June 1, 1995, as SP 4850. It was assigned UP 1976 in September 1997 and assigned UP 476 in December 1999. It was retired on October 13, 2003.
479, Class GP38-2, was built in September 1972, #72704-9, as L&N 4078, Class GP38-2. It became SBD 4078 and was renumbered 2588. It later became CSX 2588, Class GP38-2. It was sold to Helm as 2588 on April 1, 1993, and rebuilt by AMF in July 1994 as SP 158. It was renumbered 4853 on March 30, 1995, and assigned 1979 in September 1997. It became UP 479 on December 1, 2003, and retired on October 13, 2003. It became HLCX 3843 on February 8, 2005.

It was sold to Helm as 2589 in April 1, 1993, and rebuilt by AMF on July 5, 1994, as SP 159. It was renumbered 4854 on February 11, 1995, and was assigned UP 1980 in September 1997. It was reassigned 480 in December 1999. It became HLCX 3850 on February 14, 2006.

It was sold to Helm as 2593 and rebuilt at Metro-East in May 1998. It was assigned SP 4858 but was delivered as UP 1984. It was became 484 on May 12, 2005..

It was sold to Helm as 2595 and rebuilt by AMF on July 19, 1994, as SP 165. It was renumbered 4860 on February 17, 1995, and assigned UP 1986 in September 1997 and 486 in December 1999. It was retired on October 13, 2003, and became HLCX 3852 on November 4, 2005.
(488), Class GP38-2, was built in September 1972, #72704-19, as L&N 4088, Class GP38-2. It became SBD 4088 and was later renumbered 2598. It then became CSX 2598, Class GP38-2, in 1987. It was sold to Helm as 2598 and rebuilt by AMF on December 15, 1994, as SP 167. It was renumbered 4862 in 1995 and was assigned UP 1988 in September 1997 and 488 in December 1999. It then became CSX 2604, Class GP38-2, in April 1986. It was sold to Helm as 2604 and rebuilt in January 1996 as SP 4868. It became UP 1994 on September 12, 1997, and 494 on October 18, 2005. It became HLCX 3858 on May 9, 2006.
(496), Class GP38-2, was built in October 1972, #72604-8, FN 72604-8, as L&N 4097, Class GP38-2. It became SBD 4097 in January 1983 and was later renumbered 2606 in 1984. It then became CSX 2606, Class GP38-2, in April 1986. It was sold as Helm 2606 on April 1, 1993, and rebuilt as SP 4870. It became UP 1996 on February 6, 1997, and retired on October 13, 2003. It became HLCX 3867 in 2003.

It later became CSX 2117, Class GP-38, in April 1986. It was sold to Helm as 2177 and later rebuilt by Metro-East Industries in 1996 as SP as 4873. It became UP 498 on October 8, 2002, and retired on October 13, 2003. It became HLCX 3879.
