Western Pacific Railroad Museum

Quincy RR 3, 44 Ton, was built by General Electric in September 1845, #27819.  It was sold to Sierra Pacific Industries and donated to Feather River Railway Museum which became Western Pacific Railroad Museum.

 Western Pacific 165, Class 163, was built by Alco-Schenectady in November 1919, #58786, as United Verde Copper Co 86.  It was sold as WP 164 in 1927 and retired in October 1957.  It was donated to City of San Leondro in 1959.  It was sent to Alameda County Fairgrounds and acquired by Pacific Locomotive Assn and sent to WPRM in 2006.

Vermillion Sugar Co 216. was built by Baldwin in February 1887, #8395, as Union Pacific 737.  It was sold as Texas & New Orleans 246, Class E-62, in April 1902 and renumbered 216. Class E-21,  in 1913.  It was sold as Erath Sugar Co Ltd 216 in December 1929 and became Vermillion Sugar Co 216 in August 1947.  It was sold to F Nelson Blount in 1957 and became part of Steamtown in 1965.  It moved to Scranton in October 1985.  It was donated to Nevada State Railroad Museum and then donated to  FRRS.  It was sold to Double T Agricultural Museum in 2003 and restored as Southern Pacific 216.

Western Pacific 501, SW1, Class S-50, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1939, #906, FN E287-2.  It was transferred as Sacramento Northern RR 401, Class S-50, in 1965 and returned as WP 501, Class S-50.  It was sold as Corn Products Corp 501 .It went to Feather River Railway Museum in 1987 and restored as WP 501.

Western Pacific 504. S1, Class S-50, was built by Alco in April 1942, #69685,  It was transferred as SN 504, Class S-50, in December 1967 and sold as Quincy RR 4 on May 17, 1973.   It went to Feather River Railway Museum in 2005.

"Western Pacific 512", S1, was built by Alco in November 1941, #69514, as Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant 100.  It became United States Arm 7372 and became Defense Supply Agency 41043 in 1977.  It was sold to WPRM and restored as WP 512.

Sacramento Northern RR 712, GP7, Class RS-62, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1953, #18168, as WP 712, Class RS-62.  It was transferred as SN 712, Class RS-62, in July 1971.  It was assigned as Union Pacific 114 on November16, 1983, but it was retired on March 18, 1985It was donated to Western Railroad Museum in about 1985 and was traded to the Feather River Railway Museum at Portola in 2006.

Quincy RR 1100, TR6A, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1950, 13549. FN 4147-A1, as General Motors Corp 1100A. It was sold as Southern Pacific 4600. Class DF-300, in April 1951. It was reclassified Class DS-600 and renumbered 1100, Class ES408-1, in 1966.  It was sold to Sierra Pacific Corp as QRR 1100.  In 2004 it was acquired by FRRS.

Southern Pacific 1215, Class S-10, was built by Baldwin in March 1913, #39832.  It was rebuilt at Dunsmuir on March 31, 1918 and retired at Bayshore on November 29, 1957.  It was donated to Hanford, CA, on March 39, 1958, and donated to Santa Clara County in September 1958.  It was sold to FRRS  in 1995 and acquired by California Trolley & Trolley Corp in 2004.

Feather River & Western 1857, H12-44, was built by Fairbanks Morse in January 1953, #12L681, as United States Army 1857.  It was acquired by WPRM and lettered as Feather River & Western 1857.

Southern Pacific 2873, GP9u, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1956, 22897, FN 5515-6, as Texas & New Orleans 443, Class DF-611.  It was renumbered Southern Pacific 3565, Class EF418-7, in 1966 and rebuilt on February 18. 1977, as 3798, Class EF418E-3.  It was renumbered 2873, Class EF418R-3, in 1977.  It was retired and sold to a scrap yard in Richmond, CA.  It was sold to WPRM in 1992 and restored as SP 2873.

Union Pacific 6946, Class DDA40X, was built in September 1971, #35520, FN 7198-22.  It was retired on June 25, 1984, and donated to FRRS on August 20, 1984.  It became WPRM.
