5223, Class ARS-16, was built in August 1950, #78080, as New York Central 8223, Class DRSP-6a. It was rebuilt as Class DRS-6a, and became 5223, Class ARS-16, in 1966 and PC 5223, Class ARS-16, in 1968. In 1976 it became Amtrak 100, and was later restored as NYC 8223, Class DRS-6a.
5224, Class ARS-16, was built in August 1950, #78081, as NYC 8224, Class DRSP-6a. It was rebuilt as Class DRS-6a, and became 5224, Class ARS-16, in 1966 and PC 5224, Class ARS-16, in 1968. It was retired on April 14, 1971.
5246, Class ARS-16, was built in May 1951, #78862, as NYC 8246, Class DRS-6b. It became 5246, Class ARS-16, in 1966 and PC 5246, Class ARS-16, in 1968. In 1976 it became Amtrak 104 and rebuilt in 1984. It was sold as Shoreline Locomotive Co 6055 and resold as Connecticut Central RR 1201. It was sold as Providence & Worcester 120 in 1991 and sold as Cape Cod Central RR 1201 in 2001. It was scrapped in September 2011.
5256, Class ARS-16, was built in June 1951, #78872, as NYC 8256, Class DRSP-6c. It was renumbered 5525, Class ARS-17s, in 1966 and rebuilt in 1967 as 5256, Class ARS-16. It became PC 5256, Class ARS-16, in 1968 and retired on June 23, 1971. It was traded in to General Electric in November 1972.
5263, Class ARS-16, was built in May 1951, #78879, as NYC 8263, Class DRSP-6c. It was reclassified as Class DRS-6c and renumbered 5263, Class ARS-16, in 1966. It became PC 5263, Class ARS-16, in 1968 and became Amtrak 106 in 1976. It was rebuilt at New Haven in July 1981.
5272, Class ARS-16, was built in May 1951, #78909, as NYC 8272, Class DRSP-6c. It was rebuilt as Class DRS-6c and renumbered 5272, Class ARS-16, in 1966. It became PC 5272, Class ARS-16, in 1968 and retired on October 22, 1969.
5302, Class ARS-16, was built in October 1951, #79114, as NYC 8302, Class DRSP-6e. It was rebuilt as Class DRS-6e and renumbered 5302, Class ARS-16, in 1966. It became PC 5302, Class ARS-16, in 1968 and sold as Amtrak 108 in June 1976. It was rebuilt with EMD power.
5325, Class ARS-16, was built in May 1952, #79884, as NYC 8325, Class DRSP-6g. It was reclassified Class DRS-6g. It was renumbered 5325, Class ARS-16, in 1966 and became Penn Central 5325, Class ARS-16, in 1968. It became Consolidated Railroad Corp 5325, Class RS-3, in April 1976 and rebuilt in September 1979 as 9916, Class RS-3M. It was retired on April 9, 1985.
5332, Class ARS-16, was built in May 1952, #79893, as NYC 8332, Class DRSP-6g, RS3. It was reclassified Class DRS-6g. It was renumbered 5332, Class ARS-16, in 1966 and became PC 5332, Class ARS-16, in 1968. It became Conrail 5332, Class RS-3, in April 1976 and rebuilt in April 1979 as 9933, Class RS-3M. It was retired April 9, 1985.
5341, Class ARS-16, was built in May 1952, #79900. as NYC 8341, Class DRSP-6g. It was reclassified as Class DRS-6g and renumbered 5341, Class ARS-16, in 1966. It became PC 5341, Class ARS-16, in 1968 and later retired.
5364, Class ARS-16, was built in December 1951, #79405, as Pennsylvania RR 8847, Class ARS-16s. It was renumbered 5547 in 1966 and became PC 5547, Class ARS-16s, in 1966 and rebuilt as 5364, Class ARS-16. It was rebuilt at Dewitt on February 1976 as 9982, Class ARS-12 and became Conrail 9982, Class RS-3M, in April 1976 and traded in to Electro-Motive.
5404, Class ARS-16, was built in December 1955, #81840, as PRR 8604, Class ARS-16. It was renumbered 5404 in 1966 and became PC 5404, Class ARS-16, in 1968. It then went to Amtrak as 114 in 1976 and sold to Florida Gulf Coast RR Museum in October 1985. It was restored as PRR 8604.
5416, Class ARS-16, was built in November 1953, #80573, as PRR 8436, Class
ARS-16. It was
renumbered 5416 in 1955 and became PC 5416,
Class ARS-16, in 1968. It then went to Amtrak as 116 in 1976.
5438, Class ARS-16, was built in November 1953, #80575, as PRR 8438, Class ARS-16. It was renumbered 5438 in 1966 and became PC 5438, Class ARS-16, in 1968. It was traded in to General Electric in June 1970.
5439, Class ARS-16, was built in September 1950, #78181, as New York New Haven & Hartford 534, Class DERS-2c. It became PC 5439, Class ARS-16 in 1969 and rebuilt at Dewitt as Conrail 9985, Class RS3M, in September 1976. It was retired on June 5, 1984.
5441, Class ARS-16, was built in November 1953, #80570, as PRR 8441,
Class ARS-16. It was renumbered
5441 in 1966 and became PC 5441, Class ARS-16, in 1968.
It then went to Amtrak as 117 in 1976.
1st 5461, Class ARS-16, was built in June 1952, #79913, as PRR 8461, Class ARS-16. It was renumbered 5461, Class ARS-16, in 1966, and became PC 5461, Class ARS-16 in 1968. It was sold as Lehigh Valley 210, Class ARS-16, on March 1971.
5477, Class ARS-16, was built in August 1950, #78182, as NYNH&H 535, Class DERS-2c. It became PC as 5477, Class ARS-16, in 1969 and rebuilt in 1972 as 5477, Class ARS-12.
5504, Class ARS-16s, was built in June 1951, #78871, as NYC 8255, Class DRS-6c. It was renumbered 5504, Class ARS-16s, in 1966 and later became PC 5504, Class ARS-16s, in 1968. It became Amtrak 127 in 1976 and sold to an individual for the Midland Ry. It was restored as NYC 8255.
5510, Class ARS-16s, was built in May 1951, #78905, as NYC 8268, Class DRSP-6c. It was renumbered 5510, Class ARS-16s, in 1966 and later became PC 5510, Class ARS-16s, in 1968.
5512, Class ARS-16s, was built in June 1951, #78907, as NYC 8270, Class DRSP-6c. It was renumbered 5512, Class ARS-16s, in 1966 and later became PC 5512, Class ARS-16s, in 1968. It became Amtrak 131 in June 1976 and scrapped in 1985.
5518, Class ARS-16s. was built in July 1951, #78914, as NYC 8277, Class DRSP-6c. It was renumbered 5518, Class ARS-16s, in 1966 and became PC 5518, Class ARS-16s, in 1968. It became Amtrak 133 in June 1976 and acquired by Florida Gulf Coast Railroad Museum in 1987. It was restored as Seaboard Air Line 1633.

5576, Class ARS-16s, was built by Alco in June 1952, #79923, as PRR 8476, Class ARS-16s. It was renumbered 5576, Class ARS-16s, in 1966, and became PC 5576, Class ARS-16s, in 1968. It was traded in to General Electric in May 1970.
5592, Class ARS-16s, was built in January 1952, #79619, as NYNH&H 553, Class DERS-2c. It became PC 5592, Class ARS-16s, in 1969 and was sold as Amtrak 143 in June 1976. It was scrapped in 1985.
