Electro-Motive GP40 Diesels
2002 was built in March 1966, #31612, FN 7876-3, as Chicago Milwaukee St Paul & Pacific 182, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2002 in 1968 and assigned as Soo 4641. It became Soo Line RR 2002 in 1985. It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co in 1992 and rebuilt in 1994 as Kansas City Southern 4736, GP40-2P. It was sold as Southwest Pennsylvania RR 4005 in 2011 and transferred as Allegheny Valley RR 4005 in 2016.
2008 was built in March 1966, #31674, FN 7876-9, as CMStP&P 188, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2008 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2008 in 1987. It was sold to Helm in 2000 and rebuilt as Ferrocarril del Pacifico SA D2301, SD39M-2.
2009 was built in March 1966, #31675, FN 7876-10, as CMStP&P 189, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2009 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2009 in 1985. It had been assigned 4643, but was retired in October 1992. It was sold to National Railway Equipment and rebuilt as KCS 4739, GP40-P2. It was renumbered 2803 in 2005.
2011 was built in March 1966, #32307, FN 7924-14, as CMStP&P 199, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2011 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2011 in 1985. It was retired in December 2003.
2013 was built in October 1966, #32295, FN 7924-2, as CMStP&P 175, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2013 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2013 in 1985. It was rebuilt as Canadian Pacific 4607 on April 28, 1995 and sold to Helm Leasing Corp in 2000. It was rebuilt at San Luis Potoso as FEPASA D2304, SD39M-2.
2015 was built in October 1966, #32297, FN 7924-4, as CMStP&P 177, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2015 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2015 in 1985. It was rebuilt as CP 4609 on February 25, 2002.
2016 was built in October 1966, #32298, FN 7924-5, as CMStP&P 178, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2016 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2016 in 1985. It was sold to Larry's Truck Equipment in December 2013 and sold to Altos Hornos de Mexico as AHMSA 2016.
2017 was built in October 1966, #32299, FN 7924-6, as CMStP&P 179, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2017 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2017 in 1985. It was retired in February 1989. It was sold to Helm Leasing and leased as Union Pacific 876 on December 3. 1989. It was returned to Helm and rebuilt as UP 2547, GP38-2, on December 31, 1998. It was renumbered 1047 on July 13, 2001, and returned as HLCX 1047 in 2010.
2018 was built in October 1966, #32300, FN 7924-7, as CMStP&P 192, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2018 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2018 in 1985. It had been assigned Soo Line 4646, but it was retired in October 1992 before renumbering. It was sold in 1992 as National Railway Equipment Co 2018 and sold as Algoma Central Ry 190. It was became Wisconsin Central Ltd 3026 in January, 1995.
2019 was built in October 1966, #32301, FN 7924-8, as CMStP&P 193, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2019 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2019 in 1986. It was sold as General Motors Leasing 197 in April 1989 and became Locomotive Leasing Partners 9909.
2022 was built in October 1966, #32304, FN 7924-11, as CMStP&P 196, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2022 in 1968 and became Soo Line 2022 in 1985. It was retired in February 1989. It was sold to Helm Leasing and leased as UP 864, Class GP40, on February 15, 1989. It was retired on July 23, 1998, and returned to Helm. It was rebuilt as HLCX 4416, GP40-3, and rebuilt to Webb Asset Management as WAMX 4037 in March 2006.
2024 was built in October 1966, #32306, FN 7924-13, as CMStP&P 198, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2024 in 1968 and became Soo Line 2024 in 1985. It was sold and rebuilt as Florida East Coast Ry 441, GP40-3, in 1988.
2025 was built in March 1966, #31610, FN 7876-2, as CMStP&P 180, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2025 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2025 in 1985. It was rebuilt as CP 4611 on February 10, 1997.
2029, was built in January 1967, #32473, FN 7936-4, as CMStP&P 156, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2029 in 1968 and became Soo Line 2029 in 1985. It was retired in February 1969. It was sold to Helm Leasing and leased as UP 877 on November 28, 1989, It was returned to Helm and rebuilt by Motive Power International as UP 2548, GP38-2, on February 3, 1999. It was renumbered 1048 on February 20, 2004 and returned as HLCX 1048 on April 9, 2010.
2031 was built in January 1967, #32475, FN 7936-6, as CMStP&P 158, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2031 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2031 in 1985. It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co as NREX 2031 in 1992 and rebuilt in 1994 as Kansas City Southern 4738, GP40-2P. It was renumbered 2815 in 2005.
2032 was built in January 1967, #32476, FN 7936-7, as CMStP&P 159, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2032 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2032 in 1985.
2033 was built in January 1967, #32477, FN 7936-8l as CMStP&P 160, Class 30-RS. It was renumbered 2033 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2033 in 1985. It was rebuilt as CP 4614 on November 14, 2000.
2035 was built in January 1967, #32479, FN 7936-10, as CMStP&P 162, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2035 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2035 in 1985. It was rebuilt as CP 4615 on March 30, 2001. It was sold to Respondek as Port Harbor RR 4615 in August 2013 and renumbered as RRC 8955 in 2014
2037 was built in January 1967, #32481, FN 7936-12 as CMStP&P 164, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2037 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2037 in 1985. It was retired in February 1989. It was sold to Helm Leasing and leased as UP 875, Class GP40, on November 28, 1989. It was returned to Helm and rebuilt as UP 2546, GP38-2, on September 22, 1998. It was renumbered 1046 on September 14, 2001, and returned as HLCX 1046 in 2011.
2038 was built in January 1967, #32482, FN 7936-13, as CMStP&P 165, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2038 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2038 in 1985. It was rebuilt as CP 4617 on September 27, 1997.
2039 was built in January 1967, #32483, FN 7936-14, as CMStP&P 166, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2039 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2039 in 1985. It was rebuilt as CP 4618 on December 4, 1995.
2041 was built in January 1967, #32485, FN 7936-16, as CMStP&P 168, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2041 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2041 in 1985.
2045 was built in January 1967, #32489, FN 7936-20, as CMStP&P 172, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2045 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2045 in 1985. It was rebuilt on November 5, 1996, as CP 4620.
2046 was built in January 1967, #32490, FN 7936-21, as CMStP&P 173, Class 20E-RS. It was renumbered 2046 in 1968 and briefly numbered 16. It was returned as 2046 and became Soo Line RR 2046 in 1985. It was sold to Helm in 2000 and rebuilt as FEPASA D2303, SD39M-2.
2057 was built in December 1968. #34145, FN 7152-1, as CMStP&P 2057, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 17 and renumbered back as 2057. It became Soo Line RR 2057 in 1985 and sold to Larry's Truck Equipment in December 2013.
2058 was built in December 1968, #34146, FN 7132-2, as CMStP&P 2058, Class 30E-RS. It became Soo Line RR 2058 and was planned as CP 4623 in October 1997 but sold to Helm Financial in 1998. It was rebuilt at Boise as Union Pacific 2569, GP38-2. It was assigned 1069.
2066, was built in January 1969, #34143, FN 7120-6, as CMStP&P 2066, Class 30E-RS. It became Soo Line RR 2066 in 1985.
4601 was built in March 1967, #32955, FN 7957-2, as 733. It was renumbered 4601 in 1985.
4602 was built in March 1967, #32956, FN 7957-3, as 734. It was renumbered 4602 in 1985 and retired in October 1992. It was sold to Morrison Knudsen in June 1993 and rebuilt in 1994 as Maryland Mass Transit Authority 59, GP40-WH2.
4603 was built in March 1967, #32957, FN 7957-4, as 735. It was renumbered 4603 in 1985.
(4604) 2000 was built in March 1966, #31677, FN 7876-12, as CMStP&P 191, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2000 in 1968 and was assigned Soo RR 4604 in 1985 but remained Soo 2000. It was retired in March 1989, It was sold to General Motors Co as EML 194 in April 1989 and became Locomotive Leasing Partners 2501 and sold as Central Oregon & Pacific 3864. It was sold to CIT Financial as CEFX 3864 in November 2011.
(4605) 2001 was built in March 1966, #31611, FN 7876-2, as CMStP&P 181, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2001 in 1968 and assigned as Soo 4605. It became Soo Line RR 2001 in 1985 and retired in March 1989. It was sold as EML 195 in April 1989 and leased as Natchez Ry 3201 in January 2013. It was returned to General American Transportation as GMTX 3201.
(4606) 2003 was built in March 1966, #31613, FN 7876-4, as CMStP&P 183, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2003 in 1968 and assigned as Soo 4603. It became Soo Line RR 2003 in 1985 and never renumbered. It was rebuilt as Canadian Pacific 4602 on September 3, 1997.
(4607) 2004 was built in March 1966, #31614, FN 7675-5, as CMStP&P 184, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2004 in 1968 and assigned as Soo 4607. It became Soo Line RR 2004 in 1985 and retired in March 1989. It was sold to General Motors as EML 196 in April 1989 and became LLPX 9908.
(4611) 2011 was built in March 1966, #32307, FN 7924-14, as CMStP&P 199, Class.30E-RS It was renumbered 2011 in 1968 and assigned as Soo 4611. It became Soo Line RR 2011 in 1985 and never renumbered. It was retired in December 2003.
4612 was built in October 1966, #32294, FN 7924-1, as CMStP&P 174, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2012 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2012 in 1985. It was renumbered 4612 and sold to Morrison Knudsen Corp. It was rebuilt as MARC 61, GP40WH-2.
(4614) 2014 was built in October 1966, #32296, FN, 7924-3 , as CMStP&P 176, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2014 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2014 in 1985. It was rebuilt as CP 4608 on May 31, 1996.

It was sold as Florida East Coast Ry 452 in January 1999.
(4635) 2061 was built in December 1968, #34138, FN 7120-1, as CMStP&P 2061, Class 30E-RS. It was assigned Soo Line 4635, but it was retired in May 1988 and sold to National Railway Equipment Co. They leased it to Union Pacific as 867.
(4642) 2007 was built in March 1966, #31673, FN 7876-8, as CMStP&P 187, Class 30E-RS. It was renumbered 2007 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2007 in 1985. It had been assigned 4642, but was retired in February 1989. It was sold to Helm Leasing in September 1988 and was leased to National Railway Passenger Corp as 662. It became Helm Leasing Corp 4201.
