Railpower Technologies Corp.

50, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1957, #23018, FN 5519-34, as Baltimore & Ohio 6544, Class FSE-2.  It was reclassified as Class GP-9, in 1964 and assigned as CSX Transportation 0544 but retired on January 9, 1987.  It was sold to Steel Processing Corp in June 1987 and resold to Emons Development in December 1988.  It was assigned as Yorkrail 1750 and reassigned as St Lawrence & Atlantic 1750 in April 1998.  It was renumbered 50 in 2000 and sold as RPRX 50 in 2006.

1411, RP20BD, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1952, #17648, FN 5219-25, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 2837, Class 2650.  It was rebuilt at Cleburne in March 1981 as 2231, Class 2050.  It became BNSF 1370, Class GP7, on January 26, 2000.  It was rebuilt for Railpower by Alstom AB in December 2005 as 1211, Class GG20B, and had a battery fire in May 2007.  It was rebuilt at CAD, Lachine, in June 2008, #1RBD850985000194, as 1211, Class RP14BD.  It was retired on January 21, 2011, and rebuilt by Railpower in December 2011, #RP143-001, as RPRX 1411, RP20BD.

2000, GG20B, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1964, #28931, FN 7706-9, as Missouri Pacific 623, GP35. It was renumbered 2521 in March 1974 and then rebuilt as 2610 in 1976. It was sold to Wilson Ry Corp on January 5, 1987, and then to Wisconsin Central Ltd as 4006 in October 1987. It was rebuilt as 2054.  It was sold to Motive Rail Inc and resold to Paducah & Louisville.  It was resold to Railpower and rebuilt as RPRX 2000. GG20B, at Alstom in June 2006. 

2403, GG20B, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1954, #20025, FN 5370-7, as Minneapolis St Paul & Sault Ste Marie 402, a GP9.  It became Soo Line RR 402 in 1961 and sold to Railpower.  It was rebuilt as RPRX 2403, a GG20B, on January 24, 2005.  It was rebuilt at Altoona to be a RP20BD in November 2008 for Virginia International Terminals as NITX 1707 but not completed.  It was renumbered again as RPRX 2403 and completed as Norfolk Southern 103, Class RP20BD, in January 2011.

5405, RP20BD, was built by General Electric in November 1983, #44259, as Consolidated Railroad Corp 5008, Class B36-7.  It became Norfolk Southern PRR 3604 and retired in January 2002.  It was sold to General Electric Rail Services as GENX 3604.  It was rebuilt as RP20BD at CAD, Lachine, January 2007 for Railpower, #1RPBD20665000185, as RPRX 5405.

5406, RP20BD, was built by General Electric in November 1983, #44272, as Conrail 5021, Class B36-7.  It became NS PRR 3609, Class B36-7, and retired in January 2002.  It was sold as GENX 3609.  It was rebuilt as RP20BD at CAD, Lachine, in January 2007 for Railpower, #1RPBD20665000186, as RPRX 5406.
