3000-3999

 

3000, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1972, #7334-42. FN 7334-42, as Union Pacific 3164, Class SD40-2  It was retired on January 24, 2008, and sold to LTE.  It was numbered LTEX 3000 and leased as Utah Southern RR 3000 on October 16, 2008.

3001, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1972, #5819-16, FN 5819-16, as UP 3188.  It was retired on January 24, 2008, and sold as LTE 3001.  It was leased as USRC 3001 on October 16, 2008.  It was sold to Western Rail as WRIX 3001 in January 2012 and sold to WATCo as WAMX 4205 in May 2014.

3203, SW1500, was built by Electro-Motive, as Kaiser International LM002.  It was sold to Helm Leasing Corp as HLCX 3203 and sold as LTEX 3203.  It was renumbered 1540 in January 2011.

3254, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1966, #31445, FN 5697-5, as Illinois Central 3035.  It was rebuilt as 3076 in December 1974 and retired in April 1991.  It was sold to Kustom Car and sold as Ohio Central as 3254.  It was sold as LTEX 3254.  It was leased to Aggregate Industries.

3415, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1978, #776088-6, FN 776088-6, as Union Pacific 3415, Class SD40-2.  It was retired on December 8, 2001, and sold as LTEX 3415.  It was sold to Progress Rail Services as PREX 3415 in 2008.

3505, SW1200, was built Electro-Motive in October 1955, #20549, FN 4302-7, as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 9277.  It becameBurlington Northern 235, Class SW-12 in 1970 and became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 3505, Class SW-15.  It was sold as LTEX 3505 and sold Altos Hornos de Mexico as AHMSA 3505.

3647, SW1000, was built by Electgro-Motive in May 1966, #31701, FN 7879-6, as CB&Q 9315.  It became BN 579, Class SW-10, in 1970 and BNSF 3647, Class SW1000, in April 1998.    It was sold to Modoc Northern RR but never relettered.  It was sold to Titan Rail and resold to Larry's in 2012.

3806, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1970, #36542, FN 7266-7, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 3506, Class 3500.  It was rebuilt at Cleburne in January 1985 as 2306, Class 2300, and became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 2196, Class GP38, on February 11, 2000.  It was sold to Larry's  in December 2011 and renumbered 3806.  It was leased as Louisiana & Northwest 3806 in May 2012.

3807, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1970, #36475, FN 7265-35, as Penn Central 7859, Class EF-20.  It became Consolidated Railroad Corp 7859, Class GP-38, in April 1976 and Burlington Northern 2182, Class GP-38X, in July 1985.  It became BNSF 2182, Class GP38, in April 2001 and sold to Larry's Truck Equipment Co in December 2011.  It was renumbered as LTEX 3807 and leased as LNW 3807 in May 2012.

3808, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1970, #36548, FN 7266-13, as AT&SF 3512, Class 3500.  It was rebuilt at Cleburne in October 1982, as 2312, Class 2300, and became BNSF 2202, Class GP38, on September 16, 1998.  It was sold to LTE in December 2011 and renumbered 3808.

3809, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1970, #36536, FN 7266-1, as AT&SF 3500, Class 3500.  It was rebuilt at Cleburne in September 1984 as 2300, Class 2300, and became BNSF 2191, Class GP38, on March 28, 2000.  It was sold to LTE in December 2011 and renumbered 3809.

3810, GP38AC, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1971, #37638, FN 7305-20, as Louisville & Nashville 4049, Class GP-38.  It became Seaboard System 4049 and was renumbered 6270.  It became CSX Transportation 2179, Class GP-38, and sold to David J Joseph Co as JTPX 2002.  It was sold to Lone Star Locomotive Leasing LLC 2002 on March 8, 2005. It was sold to LTE and numbered 3810.  It was sold as Columbia & Cowlitz Ry 3810 in May 2012.

3813, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1970, #36443, FN 7265-3, as PC 7827, Class EF-20. It became Conrail 7827, Class GP-38, in April 1976 and BN 2157 Class GP-38X, in July 1985. It later became BNSF 2157, Class GP-38, in March 1998 and sold to Larry's.  It became LTEX 3813.

3905, GP39-3, was built nu Electro-Motive in May 1965, #30080, FN 7786-17, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 1366, Class 1300, GP35. It was renumbered 3366, Class 3300, in 1970 and rebuilt at Cleburne in June 1984 as 2866, Class 2800. It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 2566, Class GP35, on February 18, 2000.  It was sold as LTEX 2566 and rebuilt as GP39-3.  It was leased as Baja California RR 3905 and returned as LTEX 3905 in 2018.  It was leased to Blacklands RR
