Lancaster & Chester RR

31.

32 was built by Baldwin in May 1916, #43334, as Mississippi Eastern Ry 303.  It was sold to Birmingham Rail & Equipment Co in May 1934 and resold as Lancaster & Chester Ry 32 in May 1934.  It was sold as Hampton & Branchville RR 32 in 1946 and sold to Leveran & Sons Scrap in 1958.  It was sold to Byron Andrews as York Southern 1 in 1963 and sold to Richard Jensen in 1970.  It was sold to William Latham in July 1986 and is displayed as H&B 38 at Monticello Railway Museum, IL.

 

 

40 was built by Baldwin in December 1925, #58824.  It was sold to Cliffside RR as 40 in 1947 and sold to New Hope & Ivyland as 40 in 1962.

62, 70 Ton, was built by General Electric in September 1950, #30458.  It was sold as Laurinburg & Southern 104 on November 30, 1965, and assigned as Red Springs & Northern 104 in July 1984.

90, SW900, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1965, #30759, FN 4489-1.

91, SW900, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1965, #30760, FN 4489-2.

93, SW1200, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1957, #24132, FN 4414-1, as Pennsylvania RR 7900, Class ES-12.  It was renumbered 9050 in 1966 and became Penn Central 9354, Class ES-12, in 1968.  It became Consolidated Railroad Corp 9354, Class SW-1200, in April 1976 and sold as L&C 93 in 1996.

97, SW1200, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1957, #24145, FN 4414-14, as PRR 7913, Class ES-12.  It was renumbered 9013 in 1966 and became PC 9013, Class ES-12, in 1968.   It became Conrail 9332, Class SW-1200, in April 1976 and sold as L&C 97 in 1996.

"Springmaid Special 4" was built Standard Steel Car Co in 1922 as Reading Co 1329, a coach.  It was rebuilt as an open platform office car for Permacel Express P3 "Educator" in September 1966 and resold as L&C as "Springmaid Special 4".   It was sold to American Freedom Train as 4 in 1974 and later renumbered 205 "The Press Car" in 1975.  It was sold as British Columbia Rail "Britannia" and resold as Mt Rainier Scenic RR Co 321 "Pierce".

705 was a former Southern Ry caboose.

1431, express box car, as Amtrak 1431.  It was sold as L&C 1431.
