American Freedom Train Foundation
4 was built Standard Steel Car Co in 1922 as Reading Co 1329, a coach. It was rebuilt as an open platform office car for Permacel Express P3 "Educator" in September 1966 and resold as Lancaster & Chester RR as "Springmaid Special 4". It was sold to AFT as 4 in 1974 and later renumbered 205 "The Press Car" in 1975. It was sold as British Columbia Rail "Britannia" and resold as Mt Rainier Scenic RR Co 321 "Pierce".
951, E9A, was built in by Electro-June 1955, #20488, FN 2070-A4, as Union Pacific 951. It was leased as AFT Preamble Express 951 in 1974 and 1975. It was retired in June 1980 and reinstated in February 1989. It was rebuilt by VMV Enterprises between June 1992 and April 1993.
4449 was built by Lima in May 1941, #7817 as Southern Pacific 4449, Class GS-4. It was retired October 2, 1957, and placed on display at Portland, OR, on April 24, 1958. It was removed from display on December 14, 1974, and placed in service as FTF 4449 on April 21, 1975. It was assigned as Oregon Rail Heritage Center. After that service it was restored as SP 4449.
