Passenger Cars

674, steam generator, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1950, #10429, FN 6079-A9, as Pennsylvania RR 5892A, Class EP-22, E8A.  It was renumbered 4292 in 1966 and became Penn Central 4292, Class EP-22, in 1966.  It went to Amtrak as 299 in 1973.  It was rebuilt as 1924, steam generator, and and renumbered 674.

1132, baggage car.

1419, dormitory, was built by St Louis Car Co in 1952 as United States Army 89556.   It was a hospital car and rebuilt as Amtrak 1419.

1431, express box car.  It was sold as Lancaster & Chester 1431.

1450, express box car.

1461, express box car.  It was sold as Dallas Terminal Railway 1461.

1718, baggage car, was built by Budd in 1953 as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 2854, coach.  It became Amtrak 4866 and renumbered 4736.  It was rebuilt as 1718, baggage car.

3118 "Casimir Pulaski", lounge,  was built by Budd in 1951, Lot 9628, as Pennsylvania RR 7130 "Casimir Pulaski", Class PP85.  It became Penn Central 7130 "Casimir Pulaski" in 1968 and Amtrak 3830 "Casimir Pulaski".  It was renumbered 3118 "Casimir Pulaski" and sold as Branson Scenic Ry 3118.

3334, observation lounge, was built by Budd in 1947 as Atlantic Coast Line 255.  It became Seaboard Coast Line 5834 in July 1967 and became Amtrak 3334.  It was sold as private car 800011 "Coconut Grove" and wrecked.  It was rebuilt as Grand Canyon RR 255 "Chief".

4466 (800161) was built as Chicago & North Western 3478.  It was transferred as Southern Pacific 2212 and became Amtrak 4466 (800161).  It was sold as Columbus & Greenville 3 "John H Hough Jr".

8093 was built by American Car & Foundry in February 1949, #3032, as Union Pacific 4804.  It was sold as Amtrak 8093 in October 1972 and retired in 1981 and sold to Jersey Central Historical Society as PPCX 800326.

8503 "Silver Chef", diner, was built by Budd in 1956 as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 201 "Silver Chef".  It was sold as Amtrak 8054 "Silver Chef" and renumbered 8503.  It was sold as Broadway Diner Train 8503 "Silver Chef" in 1994 and resold as Branson Scenic Ry 8503 "Silver Chef" in  1999.

9214 was built by Budd in 1954 as Northern Pacific 213.  It was painted for leasing to Illinois Central in 1965 and 1967.  It was assigned as Burlington Northern 1443 in 1970 but never applied and became Amtrak 9214.  It was sold as Inland Pacific Rail "Yellowstone Park" in January 1993.

9373 was built by Pullman-Standard in 1937 as Southern Pacific 3000, parlor car.  It was rebuilt in May 1955 as 3604, dome lounge, and rebuilt in 1968.  It was retired in 1970 and leased by Amtrak as SP 9373 in 1971.  It became Amtrak 9373 in 1972.  It was retired in 1981 and sold to Standard Industries in May 1981.  The owner, J R Reed, died and it was sold to Jim Stephenson.  It was then sold to David Paredeau in June 1987 and rebuilt as Minnesota Zephyr Limited "Grand Dome". 

9457 was built by Budd in 1956 as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 4735 "Silver Buckle".  It became Burlington Northern 4735 "Silver Buckle" in 1970 and sold to Amtrak as 9457.  It was retired in 1981 and sold to John Caestecker as PPCX 800604 "Silver Splendor" in 1997.

9632 was built by Budd Co in 1968 as Penn Central 829, a Metroliner car.  It was rebuilt as cab control 9632 in late 1980s.  It was leased to Trinity Rail Express in 2000-2001.

9633 was built by Budd Co in 1968 as PC 830, a Metroliner car.  It was rebuilt as cab control car 9633 in late 1980s.  It was leased to Trinity Rail Express in 2000-2001.

9648 was built by Budd Co in 1968 as PC 820, a Metroliner car.  It became Amtrak  820.  It was rebuilt as cab control car 9648 in late 1980s.

28021 "Tampa Club" was built by Budd in 1982.  It was rebuilt in June 2007.

31045, coach-baggage, was built by Pullman-Standard in 1979.  It was renumbered 31545 and renumbered 31045 in 2004.  It had fire damage on October 9, 2005, and rebuilt in December 2005.

39913, dorm, was built by Budd in 1965 as AT&SF 544.  It became Amtrak 9913 and renumbered 39913.  It was sold as Dallas Terminal Railway 39913.

39947, coach, was built by Budd in 1965 as AT&SF 707.  It became Amtrak 9947 and renumbered 39947.  It was sold as DALT 39947.

39963, coach, was built by Budd in 1965 as AT&SF 723.  It became Amtrak 9963 and renumbered 39963.  It was sold as DALT 39963.

43040, cafe, was rebuilt in 2004 as 48166.  It was leased to Trinity Rail Express in 2000-2001.

44206, coach, was rebuilt as 82645. It was leased to Trinity Rail Express in 2000-2001.

44218, coach, was rebuilt as 82658.  It was leased to Trinity Rail Express in 2000-2001.

44222, coach. It was leased to Trinity Rail Express in 2000-2001.

54514, coach.  It was leased to Trinity Rail Express in 1996-1997.

54582, coach. It was leased to Trinity Rail Express in 1996-1997.
