General Motors SD40, SD40A Diesels
751, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1971, #37425, FN 5781-2, as Soo Line 751. It became CP 751 and sold to Alstom and rebuilt as GEC-Alsthom 3076 GCFX 3076. It became CIT-Financial Group CITX 3076 in 2008 and sold to Residco as OFOX 3076 in 2014.
5400, Class DRF-30x, was built in March 1969, #A2332, FN C326-5, as Quebec North Shore & Labrador 204, Class DRS30. It was sold as CP 5400 in 1985. It was retired.
5402, Class DRF-30x, was built in June 1971, #A2543, FN C339-1, as QNS&L 206, Class DRS30. It was sold as CP 5402 in 1985. It was rebuilt and sold as Dakota Minnesota & Eastern 6085 on October 24, 1999, SD40-3.
5403, Class DRF-30x, was built in June 1971, #A2544, FN C339-2, as QNS&L 207, Class DRS30. It was sold as CP 5403 in1985. It was rebuilt and sold as DM&E 6086 on October 24, 1999, SD40-3.

5560, Class DRF-30b, was built in April 1967, #A2205, FN C318-29. It was wrecked in April 1980 and retired.
6400 was built by Electro-Motive in June 1970, #35495, FN 7203-1, as Kansas City Southern 622. It was sold to Soo Line as 622 in August 1986 and then renumbered 6400. It later became CP 6400. It was rebuilt by Alstom in 2000 as GCFX 3095.
6403 was built by Electro-Motive in June 1970, #35498, FN 7203-4, as KCS 625. It was sold to Soo as 625 in July 1986 and then renumbered 6403. It later became CP 6403. It was rebuilt by Alstom in 2000 as GCFX 3094 on October 18, 2000, and sold to CIT Financial as CITX 3094. It was sold to Motive Power Resources in December 2013 and sold to Watco as WAMX 4200 in April 2014.
6404 was built by Electro-Motive in June 1970, #35493, FN 7196-1, as KCS 626. It was sold to Soo as 626 in July 1986 and then renumbered 6404. It later became CP 6404 and stored by Alstom.
6405 was built by Electro-Motive in June 1970, #35494, FN 7197-1, as KCS 627. It was sold to Soo as 627 in July 1986 and then renumbered 6405. It later became CP 6405 and stored at Calgary.
6406, SD40A, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1970, #35685, FN 5748-1, as Illinois Central Gulf 6019. It went to Helm Leasing as 5019 in 1985 and then to Soo as 6406. It later became CP 6406.

6411, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1969, #34778, FN 7159-4, as Baltimore & Ohio 7500, Class SD-40. It was returned to General American Transportation on May 29, 1984, and sold as Morrison Knudsen Corp 7500 in July 1984. It was sold as Soo Line 6411 in February 1988 and transfered as CPR 6411 in April 1994. It was rebuilt at Ogden as SD40-3 and sold as Dakota Minnesota & Eastern 6096 in May 2001.
