Electro-Motive GP35 Diesels

2503, Class GP-35, was built in March 1964, #28436, FN 7698-4, as Great Northern 3020, Class GP-35.  It became BN 2503, Class GP-35, in 1970 and rebuilt by Electro-Motive in October 1989.  It became BN 2926, Class GP-39E, and later became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 2926, Class GP-39E, in February 2002.  It became Class GP-39R.

2507, Class GP-39E, was built in March 1964, #28440, FN 7898-8, as GN 3024, Class GP-35.  It became BN 2507, Class GP-35, in 1970 and rebuilt by Electro-Motive in November 1989, as 2934, Class GP-39E.  It became BNSF 2934, Class GP-39E, in August 2001 and became Class GP-39R.

2509, Class GP-35, was built in April 1965, #30114, FN 7787-1, as GN 3026, Class GP-35.  It became BN 2509, Class GP-35, in 1970 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in October 1988.  It became BN 2875, Class GP-39M, and later became BNSF 2875, Class GP-39M, in August 2000.  It became Class GP-39R.  It was sold as WATCo 3922 and assigned as Yellowstone Valley RR.

2511, Class GP-35, was built in April 1965, #30116, FN 7782-3, as GN 3028, Class GP-35.  It became BN 2511, Class GP-35, in 1970 and rebuilt by Electro-Motive in June 1990.  It became BN 2906, Class GP-39E, in June 1990 and later became BNSF 2906, Class GP-39E, in June 2001.  It became Class GP-39R, and and sold as Watco Inc 3913 in November 2011.

2513, Class GP-35, was built in April 1965, #30118, FN 7787-5, as GN 3030, Class GP-35.  It became BN 2513, Class GP-35, in 1970 and rebuilt by Electro-Motive in September 1989.  It became BN 2927, Class GP-39E, and later became BNSF 2927, Class GP-39E, in October 2001.  It became GP-39R.

2514, Class GP-35, was built in April 1965, #30119, FN 7782-6, as GN 3031, Class GP-35.  It later became BN 2514, Class GP-35, in 1970 and rebuilt by Electro-Motive as BN 2903, Class GP-39E, on June 27, 1990.  It later became BNSF 2903, Class GP-39E, in May 2001 and later became Class GP39-2R.

2515, Class GP-35, was built in April 1965, #30121, FN 7782-8, as GN 3033, Class GP-35  It later became BN 2515, Class GP-35, in 1970 and rebuilt by Electro-Motive in April 1990 as BN 2910, Class GP-39E.  It became BNSF 2910, Class GP-39E, in April 2001 and became Class GP-39R.  

2517, Class GP-35, was built in April 1965, #30122, FN 7787-9, as GN 3034, Class GP-35.  It became BN 2517, Class GP-35, in 1970 and rebuilt by Electro-Motive in February 1990 as BN 2919, Class GP-39E.  It became BNSF 2919, Class GP-39E, in February 2007.  It became Class GP-39R.

2518, Class GP-35, was built in April 1965, #30123, FN 7787-10, as GN 3035, Class GP-35.  It became BN 2518, Class GP-35, in 1970 and was rebuilt by Morrison-Knudsen in March 1990 as BN 2881, Class GP-39M.  It became BNSF 2881, Class GP-39M, in September 2001.  It became Class GP-39R and sold as Watco 3923 in November 2011.

2519, Class GP-35, was built in April 1965, #30124, FN 7813-1, as GN 3036, Class GP-35. It became BN 2519, Class GP-35, in 1970. It was retired in February 1985 and sold for scrap to Atlas Metals in March 1985.

2521, Class GP-35, was built in April 1965, #30126, FN 7814-2, as GN 3038, Class GP-35.  It became BN 2521, Class GP-35, in 1970 and wrecked at Arden, WA, on December 2, 1987.  It was retired on December 10, 1987, and rebuilt by Electro-Motive on April 30, 1990, as BN 2920, Class GP-39E.  It became BNSF 2920, Class GP-39E, in 2003 and later became Class GP39-2R.

2522, Class GP-35, was built in April 1965, #30127, FN 7814-3, as GN 3039, Class GP-35.  It became BN 2522, Class GP-35, in 1970 and retired on March 1, 1990.  It was rebuilt by Electro-Motive on June 29, 1990, as BN 2902, Class GP-39E, and became BNSF 2902, Class GP-39E, in May 2001.  It later became Class GP39-2R.

 

2524, Class GP-35, was built in December 1963, #28300, FN 7668-1, as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 978.  It became BN 2524, Class GP-35, in 1970 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in March 1990. It became BN 2913 in March 1990 and later became BNSF 2913, Class GP-39E, in April 2001.  It became Class GP-39R and sold as Watco 3914 in November 2011.

2525, Class GP-35, was built in December 1965, #28301, FN 7668-2, as CB&Q 979.  It became BN 2525, Class GP-35, in 1970 and rebuilt by Electro-Motive on December 28, 1989, as 2932, Class GP-39E.  It became BNSF 2932, Class BP-39E, in May 2002 and became Class GP-39R.

2527, Class GP-35, was built in December 1963, #28303, FN 7668-4, as CB&Q 981.  It became BN 2527, Class GP-35, in 1970 and retired in March 1987.  It was sold for scrap to St Louis Auto Shredding in August 1987.

2528, Class GP-35, was built in March 1964, #28979, FN 7711-1, as CB&Q 982.  It became BN 2528, Class GP-35, in 1970 and rebuilt by Electro-Motive on March 23, 1990, as 2916, Class GP-39E.  It became BNSF 2916, Class GP-39E, in August 2004 and became Class GP-39R.

2534, Class GP-35. was built in June 1964, #28983, FN 7719-3, as CB&Q 988.  It became BN 2534, Class GP-35, in 1970 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in August 1990.  It became BN 2936, Class GP39E, and bcame BNSF 2936, Class GP-39E, in August 2001.  It became Class GP-39R, and sold to Webb Asset Management Co as WAMX 3916.

2535, Class GP-35, was built in June 1964, #28984, FN 7719-4, as CB&Q 989.  It became BN 2535, Class GP-35, in 1970 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in October 1989.  It became BN 2928, Class GP-39E, and became BNSF 2928, Class GP-39E, in September 2001.  It became Class GP-30R and sold as WAMX 3915.

2537, Class GP-35, was built in June 1964, #28986, FN 7719-6. as CB&Q 991. It became BN 2537, Class GP-35, in 1970 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in July 1990. It became BN 2901, Class GP-39E, on July 12, 1990, and later became BNSF 2901, Class GP-39E, on July 2001.  It became Class GP-39R.

2541, Class GP-35, was built in October 1964, #29285, FN 7719-10, as CB&Q 995.  It became BN 2541, Class GP-35, in 1970 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in August  1990.  It became BN 2938, Class GP-39E, on August 28, 1990, and became BNSF 2938, Class GP-39E.  It became Class GP-39R.

2550, Class GP-35, was built in March 1964, #28525, FN 7676-1, as St Louis-San Francisco 700.  It became BN 2550, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and retired in May 1987.  It was sold to Wilson Ry in May 1987 and sold as Texas-Mexican Ry 868 in September 1988.  It was sold as  Helm Leasing Co 868 and rebuilt and sold as WAMX 3823.

2551, Class GP-35, was built in March 1964, #28912, FN 7705-1, as SL-SF 701.  It became BN 2551, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in July 1990.  It became BN 2935,  Class GP-39E, in July 1990 and later became BNSF 2935, Class GP-39E, in May 2003.  It became Class GP-39R.

2552, Class GP-35, was built in March 1964, #28913, FN 7705-2, as SL-SF 702.  It became BN 2552, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and retired in November 1986.  It was sold for scrap to Southwest Railroad Car Parts Co.

2553, Class GP-35, was built in March 1964, #28914, FN 7705-3, as SL-SF 703.  It became BN 2553, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and retired in July 1985.  It was traded in to Electro-Motive in July 1985.

2554, Class GP-35, was built in March 1964, #28915, FN 7705-4, as SL-SF 704.  It became BN 2554, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in May 1990.  It became BN 2923, Class GP-39E, later became BNSF 2923, Class GP-39E, in May 2001.  It became Class GP-39R.

2555, Class GP-35, was built in March 1964, #28916, FN 7705-5, as SL-SF 705.  It became BN 2555, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in May 1990.  It became BN 2908, Class GP-39E,on May 25, 1990, and later became BNSF 2908, Class GP-39E, in March 2004.   It became Class GP-39R.

2556, Class GP-35, was built in April 1964, #28917, FN 7705-6, as SL-SF 706.  It became BN 2556, Class GP-35, in January 1981, and was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in March 1990.  It became BN 2883, Class GP-39M, on March 30, 1990, and later became BNSF 2883, Class GP-39M, in June 2002.   It became Class GP-39R.

2557, Class GP-35, was built in April 1964, #28918, FN 7705-7, as SL-SF 707.  It became BN 2557, Class GP-35, in January 1981, and was built by Electro-Motive in August 1990.  It became BN 2937, Class GP-39E, on August 9, 1990, and later became BNSF 2937, Class GP-39E, in November 2004.  It became Class GP-39R.

2558, Class GP-35, was built in April 1964, #28919, FN 7705-8, as SL-SF 708.  It became BN 2558, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and was traded in to Electro-Motive in July 1985.

2559, Class GP-35, was built in April 1964, #28920, FN 7705-9, as SL-SF 709.  It became BN 2559, Class GP-35 in January 1981 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in March 1990.  It became BN 2912, Class GP-39E, and later became BNSF 2912, Class GP-39E, in December 2001.  It became Class GP-39R.

2560, Class GP-35, was built in April 1964, #28921, FN 7705-10, as SL-SF 710,  It became BN 2560, Class in January 1981 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in April 1990.  It became BN 2911 on April 19, 1990, and later became BNSF 2911, Class GP-39E, in September 1996.   It became Class GP-39R.

2561, Class GP-35, ws built in April 1964, #28922, FN 7705-11, as SL-SF 711.  It became BN 2561, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and retired in September 1986.  It was sold for scrap to Pielet Brothers in December 1986.

2562, Class GP-35, was built in April 1964, #28923, FN 7705-12, as SL-SF 712.  It became BN 2562, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and traded in to Electro-Motive in July 1985.

2563, Class GP-35, was built in April 1964, #28924, FN 7705-13, as SL-SF 713.  It became BN 2563, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and traded in to Electro-Motive in July 1985.

2565, Class GP-35, was built in April 1964, #28926, FN 7705-15, as SL-SF 715.  It became BN 2565, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and traded in to Electro-Motive in July 1985.

2567, Class GP-35, was built in April 1965, #30056, FN 7786-1, as SL-SF 717.  It became BN 2567, Class GP35, in January 1981 and traded in to Electro-Motive in July 1985.

2569, Class GP-35. was built in April 1965, #30058, FN 7785-3, as SL-SF 719.  It became BN 2569, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and traded in to Electro-Motive in July 1985.

2570, Class GP-35, was built in April 1965, #30059, FN 7785-4, as SL-SF 720.  It became BN 2570, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive on May 31, 1990. as 2905, Class GP-39.  It became BNSF 2905, Class GP-39E, in July 2001.  It became Class GP-39R.

2571, Class GP-35, was built in May 1965, #30060, FN 7785-5, as SL-SF 721.  It became BN 2571, Class GP-35, in January 1981, and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in April 1990 as 2921, Class GP-39E.  It became BNSF 2921, Class GP-39E, in February 2002 and became Class GP-39R.

2572, Class GP-35, was built in May 1965, #30061, FN 7785-6, as SL-SF 722.  It became BN 2572, Class GP-35, in January 1981, and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive on July 18, 1990, as BN 2900, Class GP-39E.  It later became BNSF 2900, Class GP-39E.  It became Class GP-39R.

(2573), Class GP-35, was built in May 1965, #30062, FN 7785-7, as SL-SF 723.  It was assigned as BN 2573, Class GP-35, but it was wrecked at Denison, TX, on April 15, 1980.  It was scrapped by BN in May 1980.

2574, Class GP-35, was buillt in May 1965, #30063, Class FN 7785-8, as SL-SF 724.  It became BN 2574, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and traded in to Electro-Motive in July 1985.

2575, Class GP-35, was built in December 1965, #31120, FN 7852-1, as SL-SF 725.  It became BN 2575, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and traded in to Electro-Motive in July 1985.

2576, Class GP-35, was built in December 1965, #31121, FN 7852-2, as SL-SF 726. It became BN 2576, Class GP-35, in January 1981, and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in April 1990. It became BN 2915 on April 9, 1990, and later became BNSF 2915, Class GP-39E.  It became Class GP-39R.

2579, Class GP-35, was built in December 1965, #31124, FN 7852-5, as SLSF 729.  It became BN 2579, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in March 1990.  It became BN 2918, Class GP-39E, and became BNSF 2918, Class GP-39E, in March 2001.  It became Class GP-39R.

2580, Class GP-35, was built in December 1965, #31125, FN 7852-6, as SL-SF 730.  It became BN 2580, Class GP-35, in January 1981 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in April 1990.  It became BN 2924, Class GP-39E, and later became BNSF 2924, Class GP-39E, in July 2001.  It became Class GP-39R.
